Hawker Hurricane Mk. IIc | No sound

- My second attempt at this kit. But this time I am armed with more skills. There were still a few pitfalls that I could have handled better, though. Undercarriage was way too flimsy. The same with antenna mast, so I was not able to put enough tension on it. But, life is not perfect. The wing root area was the most difficult to deal with

Wow, wow, and thrice wow. Gorgeous finish to my favourite Battle of Britain aircraft and WWII fighter. The forgotten fighter. Thank you for such a fabulous representation.
Happy to hear this! Go hurricanes! :-)
verry beautiful model
Sadly, my cockpit pieces shattered when being removed from the sprue like the plastic was really brittle. It made building up the cockpit virtually impossible.
I ended building the main kit ,minus the interior. The inside of the canopy was painted with Tamiya smoke to hide the empty void and it was painted in night fighter colours. The undercarriage was in the raised position.
Will definitely be back to finish watching this build. Can't recall ever seeing a Fly kit being built. Didn't see any signs of which version, Trop or regular, and didn't want to fast forward to seeing the end 😜. Some nice skills there 👍. Hopefully you produce more videos, made sure to sub just in case 👍🔔. Cheers from Florida ☕🐢
Well, David.....your second attempt is a stunner! For its few flaws, the kit has turned out really well obviously through your patience and better skills developed after your previous attempt......nothing beats experience and practice. You must be pleased with the final result in the end. Thanks for sharing and it will be interesting to see what you have next for us in due course.
Thanks Robbo! Hurricane is one of my favorite planes, so I had to try again :-). I wish Tamiya tooled this plane in 1:32 like they did the Spitfire. Maybe one day...
@@DavidAndrs80 Well, we can only hope 🤞
Збирав такий літак з паперу 1-33 ,.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😀🇺🇦🥇🥇🥂
Thanks for the video....I experimented with tin foil for the lights on some of my model 1/32 scale with quite good results...Tin foil is a lot more reflective than any of the metallic paints and looks more realistic sometimes...
I usually use liquid chrome (from Molotow). When applied in larger amounts on a smooth area, it gives quite nice effect, but not mirror like. I also have the mirror foil from Hasegawa, but did not use it yet. I hope it will produce better results than just a tin foil 🤞
I'm gonna be doing upcoming Revell Hurricane Mk.II b 1:32 scale. Cannot wait to see differences. Ps. Good work, nice chipping.
Thanks! Large scale Hurricane needed a new tool worth 21st technology - glad to see Revell did one, so hopefully it will be a nice kit.
Also, good luck with your build!
This is probably Fly 1:32 kit? Great in details, but mold quality is very bad. Flash everywhere, big or small intricate parts. Fit is also not up to the Tamiya’s standards. I keep hearing its a short run, but they have been making them for several years now, and still can’t get things right….
