You are right about that! Soap making is never boring.. It's my zen or meditation time 😁 This soap turned out beautiful. So glad I found your channel. Thanks for sharing.
I would say you did an amazing job pulling the wood look off. In fact I think this is my favorite wood look. I showed the picture of one of the bars to my hubby who is a woodworker and he was impressed. He said he would work with this type of wood. 😉
Hi Ellen, I think you sell yourself too short! You are AMAZING! I am a new soap maker and I watch you and Katie Carson all the time. As well as MOSoaps and, I have learned so much from you. I even went and got the tussah silk fibers to put into my soaps as well as the additives of oats and clay. The one thing that I love is when you are telling us what benefits you can get from the soap and additives that you are using! You have done an amazing job with the wood grain; I think it looks authentic!
That is a wonderful masculine fragrance, I use it all the time. Your wood grain soap turned out A-MAZING. Love the colors and the grain turned out perfectly.
I’m a homeschool mom veteran as well. My boys are all married and gone but my heart is still tender toward children loving to learn. This is beautiful soap. Great job! Blessings to you and your family. 🌷
I am with ya on how they cut those bars to get the different affects....LOL Good to hear about your Husband and sons service Which I thank them. I was a WM and say Semper Fi!!!!!!!
I just love the woodgrain technique...I made 3 batches so far and very happy with the result but never poured breadth wise... Always poured length wise and cut differently to reveal the lines... Your technique is too good... Will try it soon.... Thanks so much for sharing!!!

Really gorgeous! I love your way to make soap. I'm from Brazil and here we don't have micas. Or when I find, they are very expensive. But I'm trying to make some good soaps. I try to make them with some aditives and I use clays to color them. You reaĺly inspire me. Thank you very much💗
Oh Wow! These look so amazing. I'm in the process of home schooling my 3 year old. When I tell people or even my folks they tell me he will not have the joy of school life, does it matter? I'm asking you as you have experience with 4 kids. I agree with you school does hinder the child's creativity. Have a fabulous day 💕 Stay safe 🌟✨
