Robert Patch Is that a joke? Because these refugees already have to go through a 1-3 year vetting process to end up in America. The immigration systems is convoluted enough, and *very* secure. It's been revamped and reworked multiple times since 9/11 and yet in 1 week Trump decided to implement a plan to change it...without even coordinating with the TSA or Homeland Security! He doesn't even have a plan! The ban just stops immigration so that they can "review" the current system. Ignoring the legality of the law, and if its moral or not, looking at from purely an optimistic "he wants to protect America" view...it *still* was poorly implemented and should not be applauded.
I mean...even the "radical Islam" bit...he didn't ban the countries that were actually tied to terrorists of 9/11...

Here in South Africa, Muslims, Christians and Athiests live right alongside each other and there is virtually no religious violence, despite general crime levels being high... it is so easy find common goals and beliefs and build on those... and it's the only way! I hope Americans realise that.

Sad thing is most religions are build on the same fundamental ideas. Sure there are differences in what they believe in, cultures, traditions etc. but when you get down to the message and the basic commandments they are very similar. Makes you wonder why there is any conflict at all.

Domyras I don't condone Trump's actions at all. It pisses me off, but sometimes trying to make a joke from it makes people relax a bit. Which is why Colbert and Noah is my go to place when I think of Trump's actions. Not only to they make me laugh, it's also nice to remember I'm not alone in my disapproval of what Trump does.
