If the education system isn't fixed, I do believe there should be a test for voters. Trouble is no one is partial enough to make one that is a neutral indicator. People should enough understanding to at least lie in it to vote.

However, having proportionally lower civilian casualties is basically not the same as none and in the end they are still killing people. It doesn't justify the other side, but it is, also nothing to be proud of on our end.

Rather than blame Trump, examine the process. The fact that he can do so many things that upset a lot of Americans & most of the world and still get away with it means that there needs to be more checks & balances in the system, not the person. Today it's Trump, tomorrow it could be someone with harsher executive orders. The system needs to prevent against such orders regardless who it is.
