The new Catrice 'Cheek Lover Marbled Blush' and their 'Sun Lover Glow Bronzing Powder' are excellent IMHO .. and at 6 euro per pan (7g/0.24oz) .. they are incredible value. I LOVE them. They are baked powder formulas, easy to apply and buff-out. I think Catrice and Essence, (NYX and ELF) are really knocking it outta the park at the moment. They are certainly making me think twice about purchasing the higher end products that would normally be my go-to .. it is really hard to justify spending 30 euro for the Kosas marbled blush when you can by similar from Catrice for literally 5 times less!! IMHO .. thanks for this review Risa. Your make-up looked really pretty today! x

@maireadweaver Where did you buy your Catrice blush please? I'm European so that 6€ price tag for a marble blush (love baked powders) sounds very interesting!! Some drugstore makeup are too expensive to order from the US once the shipping, taxes and duties are added. That's why I never bought from Moira and stopped buying from Colourpop and Juvia's place. @@flowerchild2657 I know I rarely order from the US anymore because the taxes are excruciating and you can never predict how much you will be charged!! I live in Ireland and I buy my Catrice products from a local pharmacy. However Boots stock Catrice (and Essence/ELF/NYX) and I am almost sure Sephora do (but we dont have Sephora in Ireland). Also Pennys/Primark have a great Catrice stand here. Interestingly it is a German brand so buying from their own website from within the EU won't cost you any taxes (whatever about shipping). They are really good products and amazing value. Their new foundation has gone 'wild' here. I haven't tried it yet, but everyone is raving about it and its around 10 euro!!! Happy Shopping!! xx

The taxes on US goods are horrendous alright - and you can never tell how much it is going to be! I get my Catrice items from a local pharmacy here in Ireland, but Pennys/Primark also sell Catrice .. and Boots. They are a German brand so you can buy directly from their own website within the EU without paying taxes (whatever about shipping - I am not sure). Their new serum foundation has gone 'wild' here, people are raving about it and I think it is under 10 euro. I haven't tried it yet but I am definitely going to given the great reviews I have heard. The Armani is unlike any formula I’ve tried and amazing for my textured oily skin

I like to travel with blushes like nyx(actually I use the bronzer as blush for summer) because I feel better about the lower price point when I loose control of how my bag is treated when checking bags. Also I’ve yet to find a cream blush I can evenly apply to both sides 😊.

Super vid as always, Risa. I saw an earlier vid where you described the new Haus Labs stick blushes and I have already bought 2! It actually blurs lines and I have put in some time on the planet. This is absolute perfection for women of a certain age and dry skin.

Actually although you said it's not scientific I find the method quite fair since you tried to judge the blushes on the same array of criteria 😉 You did more than your best, you did great 👌🏻Obviously if we're a subscriber we already know your preferences and your skin type so it's more helpful. I bought Armani, new Patrick Ta, Saie, Haus Labs powder (hadn’t yet heard reviews on the cream blush), another Dior…love my Merit. Itching to buy the new NARS and Gucci. NARS is my favorite new blush! Behave is the perfect shade of pink for me and also really love the new Smashbox blush pallets in Pink Saturation… the bronzer shade is perfect and that pink OMG I would’ve never thought I could wear 🤣🤣🤣 but it changes to the prettiest warm pink on my skin it’s crazy lol … they are pretty separate and combined peach and pink or use the bronzer too they are all really smoothing and last all day … I’m not very big on the cream blushes I bought the Lawless but I returned it bc it was the same shade as my others and I have the Patrick Ta Not Too Much but is so pigmented it’s hard to wear … I feel like all the pink blushes look pretty much the same on me … I also got 920 s3x appeal in the NARS that is very pretty looks like not too much and so does the mini my dream Natasha Denona lol

The lawless has been on my radar. I like the idea of cream with a blurring effect. But some people have been saying it's patchy! Maybe I'll check out the Morphe tho!

Oh my I love blushes as well, I love Clinique chubby blushes in cream sticks. I also love the ct powder blushes - my favourite is cheek to cheek in love is the drug. Oh and tawny by Bobbi Brown in a powder blush is gorgeous 😊❤❤❤❤

My 2nd fav not high end is the NYX Butter Melt Blush and it works wonderful with the ELF Putty Blush. Then top it off with the NYX Butter Melt.
I have the new Rare Beauty blush and I love it! The glow is awesome. Regarding the Kosas blush, it has the same packaging as the powder which always breaks. I also have a problem with Kosas not including mirror in the compact at the price point. And the powder, not including an applicator so you can easily use it on the go.
Risa can you link what you are wearing on your nails? So pretty. I think for my needs the Kosas looked the best. Thank you🌸

I love blush as well and the Patrick Ta Duo blew me out of the water. Price was a issue, so I tried a trick using ELF Putty Blush typing it off with NYX Butter Melt Blush.
Still love my Patrick Ta Blush Duo.
I’m trying to resist the NYX Butter blushes as I’m not going to lie, I have way too many blushes and don’t need another until I work through the ones I have. However, I did swatch them in Ulta and I’m probably going to cave at some point. Thanks for the review- seems to be consistent across the board that these are a great value.

I'm looking at getting some new blush. I'm a light olive tone once I get my roseaca (excuse the spelling) covered my face is pale, I got to have blush & like you I like to see it. But I'm looking at the Haus Labs powder one anyone know if it's a good topper for oily skin with large pores. In Hibiscus Haze or the Nars powder blush in Dolce Vita.
