This was a fantastic video. I'm 50, and only wear makeup when I go out with friends or if I head into the office. But I need a subtle application to simply look fresh. This was absolutely perfect! Thanks for taking the time and posting.
It is so easy to get caught up in the world of make-up tutorials and end up looking like a clown. I absolutely love your approach and appreciate the reminder that it's OK to do less and look more natural. I wear jeans to work and love a no make-up look but you inspire me to use products in a way that brings out ME and not my make-up. Thanks Maggie De!
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate the feedback, more & heavier makeup looks glitzy on camera but just doesn't work for me personally in real life.
I don't wear a lot of other makeup, but have to have bright lipstick so the bottom of my face doesn't disappear. To me the lips are the hardest part because of feathering and the tendency for lipstick not to last. Dull colors and neutrals do not work on me even though I am old! But you look good since the gray in your hair and your soft coloring work with the dull lip color.
Very nice, and you are so correct - most of our tutorials are focused on promoting lots of products. I like your philosophy in this video. Just FYI - I trying out the Wonderskin Wonderblading Lip Color, which gives you lip color (like a stain) that lasts for several hours and doesn’t bleed into lip lines - just add a little balm or gloss for the rest of the day. 💗
Hi Maggie you are naturally gorgeous. Really enjoyed your video every little step. I really want to get the Mac eyeshadow product painterly. I wear no eyeshadow never and that would be perfect. I have the foundation it’s so nice . So nice seeing you take care your fan from Canada !
Excellent and helpful video! You are so right about how it's harder to do subtle no makeup looks than just slapping it on willy nilly.... Yes, the magnifying mirror absolutely makes me wanna apply too much! Great trick to find out your color by the lip pinch... I need to try that mascara! 💖
I love this & can’t wait to try it! You look stunning. I’ve been living in Paris since 2017 (less the 2 year spring 2020-2022 “hiatus” spent out of the city in Nice) and wearing no makeup at all is the norm here, which I’ve taken to like a duck to water. But at 60 years old I just want to zhuzh it up at little. This look is perfection!! Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment. I feel so special having someone from Paris actually watch my little old videos. This is kind of a thrill for me. Thanks again.!
Hi Maggie. It’s my pleasure!! And thank YOU!! I walked to Le Bon Marche this morning and got the Estee foundation you used (I’m 2N2 Buff) then to Sephora & Mac (I’m also “Painterly”). Just tried it all and I absolutely love it!! You are so right, it takes so little foundation and so much self restraint to wipe away the extra! Just know that your “no makeup makeup” look will spend a very glamorous Parisian afternoon waiting for an Amazon delivery and then, perhaps, to the grocery store, lol! 😂 And just one question… did you use the concealer sponge dry or dampened for the foundation application? I’m a total rookie with the sponge application but, wow! What a difference it makes! Thanks again, Amie
Thanks so much Kim. I lived in Arkansas for only about 1 year (north central Ozark area) I really loved it. ... born and raised in Memphis (not so much love there) Thanks for stopping by my channel.
Hi just came across your channel. i’m 66 and always trying no makeup. i love Hers glow oil . curl my eyelashes. do my brows and tight line my eyes and a bit of blush and l tinted lip balm
Late to this... but I LOVE & ADORE THIS!!💕💕💕 You look fabulous!!🥰💋💄❤️ this is definitely ME!!! I just got the Rare Beauty skin tint & I love how natural & "no makeup/makeup-ey" it looks! In my opinion heavy makeup is not attractive on my mature skin!!💟💜💓💟👑💐💎😘
@@MaggieDe that's the problem I have to is that brown doesn't look good because my dark hair is very dark it's not really Brown it's almost black.. Clinique's Brow Shaper in charcoal is the best I have found.. it's more of a powder but the color works..
At age 58, I discovered less is best as far as skin care and makeup. For some reason I think I look better with just mascara and blush on. If I do want to use a little foundation, I use bare minerals original foundation on my entire face as it buffs into a creamy and dewey look. I use this on entire face except for the eye area. In that area Laura Geller Balance and Brighten Foundation looks best for meand it oddly enough it doesn't settle into my wrinkles and slightly covers my dark areas. I don't pay an attention to my eye brows. They are so light you can't see them and I would have to draw them in...no thank you! I only use three products in my skin care. La Roche Posay keeps my skin clear and moisurized. In my photo here, I just have blush and mascara on.
Maybelline makes a nice one, and the Ulta brand has one. Chanel has one as well as other brand. Hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by my channel, Maggie
Hi Yvonne, it’s hakuhodousa.com/ - the ones that were a collab are still sometimes on eBay with “hakuhodo” search term or “hakuhodo Sephora” they have red handles.

Try lightly powdering your eyebrows to dry out the oils and then go in with your brow products. It works, lol.
You look delightful. Great look. Well done. 😊
I use this sunscreen and I love it.
I LOVE this video. This is what I’ve been looking for. Thank you so much :)

Very pretty look Maggie! 💖
Thank you so much 😀
I think a light hand looks so much better on us older ladies.
I have never figured out how to use concealer. This looks approachable.
Nice look Maggie. Must try that Mac Painterly.
I like it alot!
I love IT Cosmetics CC Cream
Good to know, alot of people really seem to love it. Thanks for commenting!
@@MaggieDe yes ma'am
The color is suited for all, hence it’s called universal. The creme adjusts to any color of skin.
You have a nice healthy glow with what you just did..very nice limited to no makeup look..😉
Thanks Annie!

Thank you so much!!!
You look beautiful!
Nice to wear at home. ❤
Is there a dupe you recommend for the Benefit Precisely brow pencil that works with salt and pepper hair?
I have been using ash brown by NYX, but it’s too brown and not a great match with my hair. Sorry, I’m still looking for a good one too!

Just now learning that clear lip pencils exist! 🤯 Any suggestions?

What lovely thick head of hair you have!
How are you spelling the name of that brush that was made in collaboration with Sephora?
Hi Yvonne, it’s hakuhodousa.com/ - the ones that were a collab are still sometimes on eBay with “hakuhodo” search term or “hakuhodo Sephora” they have red handles.
Is there links and names of what you use?
Hi Terri, yes links are in the description box.
Really You Are Looking Beautiful..
I'm 49 new sub here

If your wearing makeup then it’s not no make up. Just like the natural look is not natural.
