Spa towns: Vrnjacka banja ans Banja Koviljaca are in that region Also when you come back very close to Nish is Soko Banja...Third most popular spa town in Serbia Also if you have car it's easy from Nish to visit Kopaonik { top 5 tourist destinations in Serbia} .... In that part of Serbia is also Stara planina, Roman city Felix Romuliana, Djavolja varos {devil's town} And one hour driving from Nis is MANASIJA fortress monastery...That you can't miss...And around it there is Resava Cave, Veliki Buk waterfall, Ravanica...One day trip from Nish

The western part of Serbia is escape from reality for all Serbs who are living in urban areas and big cities there is dozen of sites like that one that part of Serbia is GEM of nature for real.

Shame u didnt have time to ride in boat on Uvac lake, it is unreal, it takes u to a small dock on one of the points and than u hicke up to the viewpoint. Along the cruise u see a tons of vultures flying and nesting on the cliffs
I'm sure that would've been amazing!....but I'll tell you, us taking our time and taking the long way through the country and seeing what we saw.... wouldn't have it any other way
That's south-western Serbia, or Raška and Stari Vlah region. North-western Serbia is Mačvansko-Kolubarski region. Western Serbs are very competetive local patriots, and we generally dislike regional generalizations. It's like when people technically say that western Serbia is Šumadija even if it's not. We have nothing to do with Šumadija.
