Thank you for stopping by. 1. Soak 1 cup peas into a sterilized large mason jar and add 3 cups water. You can cover the jar with a piece of cheesecloth.After 12 hrs drain all water. Run cool water through the sprouting cheesecloth, swish around and drain. Repeat, then set the jar in a bowl or on your dish rack at a 45° angle so that any remaining water can drain out, but air can easily get in. The seeds don’t need sunshine, but they do need to be able to breath. I usually keep my mason jars on a kitchen counter with indirect sunlight.Keep rinsing the peas with pure and filtered water several times a day. After a couple of days the peas begin to sprout. 2. Yes you have to steam the ragi flour as shown in the recipe. 3.You can use water for halwa. Blessed day S.
