    The way you keep your workspace clean and tidy is something I admire. Great video, could watch these for hours.

    Congratulations on getting to the stage of firing the engine for the first time. A really spectacular build that's sure to impress the person who commissioned it, as well as others who are privileged enough to see it.

    Great to see how far this has come. Your videos have made me see that this is my dream job also. And that sound at the end 😍 I love the whine of the supercharger

    Back in the late eighties, there was a certain dealer in WA, who used to rip out the original motors and store them in a special storage area and then fit them with Donovan 350s, it was an awesome time of excess and the players were having fun. The dealer must have done this for ten to fifteen customers.

    E/H. "It's Alive" like the Frankenstein ! ! Watching the Dakar 2025 Ultimate T1 class cars with outputs of say 340Hp, and this Rangie has double is insane. If you can't doubt him, crown him ? ? V.

      Thanks Vincent, we'll one day build a Dakar spec RRC. Be pretty cool to see a highly modified RR belting across the dunes.

    I drove a RRC with an LS swap and honestly… time it felt like the RR lost its soul. Maybe it makes sense in a Toyota, but not in a RRC

    • @TheTripleDubya
      @TheTripleDubya 22 години тому

      Standard they were serene and a bit of fun but with an LS they were far better, the diehard purists used to get “Vitesse” motors but the guys that wanted maximum bang for their buck went for the LS, it was all good.

    • @endakhudson
      @endakhudson  22 години тому +2

      As i always say, if you're a purist at heart LS isnt for you. but if you want something bulletproof that can cope with some punishment and some, They're a fantastic alternative.

    • @MisterJDee
      @MisterJDee 20 годин тому

      @@endakhudson oh, yeah, no no, I’m not a purist at all. I love LS engines generally, which is why I was curious. I was surprised that I didn’t quite enjoy the combination of RR and LS as much as I thought I would. But you are correct… for cheap, reliable power, the LS cannot be beat

    I like your skills but not these huge engines and oversized wheels. Your own 2 door tdi is perfect.
