Fookin' clickbate! How dare you! You cannot injure me with your petty video title! I love, my Kemper. I've had it for 7 years and it sounds fantastic.... OK, I have like two main sounds. BUT! seriously, I flip through profiles a lot. This is my amp. It sounds, awesome. For me it's my ultimate sound whittling tool. But, when asked I tell people, look at the Neural Cortex. Personally, I was never satisfied with Amplitube. But I've gotten Neural plugins that are awesome. But my Kemper, can be pried from my cold dead hands. So shame on you! I gave you a like anyway.
Man, those are some killer tones! There's some good constructive criticism here as well. Hopefully IK takes those points into consideration. Technology...what a time to be alive.
Agreed! What always surprises me is how tech innovation like this is profitable. Most people I’ve known who play guitar never recorded or played shows. They just plug in and play. I’ve always wondered what the guitar industry is worth and if higher percentages of people are playing compared to decades past. I guess so since it’s so much easier to learn with UA-cam and it’s more affordable to sound good. The thing is, tech like this is really single purpose. It’s not like this can be used for anything else like say a military tech that can be applied to civilian use. Just a thought.
A kemper is designed for a totally different end user and use case than someone using amplitube. I’m surprised you don’t know better. Or are just being dishonest for controversial clicks. Disappointing. And for the record I don’t even own a kemper but can still smell BS
Yup, gear snobs.... those Kempers are now over glorified " Toasters " . Just kidding, if you keep them, they're still killer tone machines, like a zeroed in Digitech 2112 SGS, ADA MP-1 or MP-2, Behringer V Amp Pro or Eleven Rack . In about three years, those Kempers are going to be selling for $ 500.00 US , just like Eleven Racks .
I do love my Kemper and Amplitube is a great software, but I hate IK Multimedia, because how they license system works. Because you can't deactivate old licenses easily, I bought their Orchestral VSTi a few years back and now I can't use it, because I had a few hardware failures, I needed to reinstall that software a few times and like that no more licenses. That's why the hardware like a Kemper or a Quad Kortex is better in my opinion.
Having only had my Kemper for a year or so (I know late to the game), I wouldn't have wanted to wait for this. I like the idea of being able to do everything from the unit without a PC/Laptop. I think people who shit on Kempers for being too complex just can't be bothered to read the manual or sit with it for an hour or so. I can however appreciate the tones coming from Amplitube.
It seems to me that this is strictly for use in the studio. Unless I missed something there’s no hardware to take these sounds to a gig. That’s where the Kemper comes in. I understand Glenn. You’re a studio guy so that’s what you’re after more than anything. But the Kemper isn’t completely obsolete just yet.
Glenn, bless you for that V30 IR! I'm running it on my Torpedo X and just for shits and giggles I've connected an Orange Crush Mini to it. Sounds freakin huge. Just goes to show that a good IR/speaker does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to guitar tone.
Mendel did a great video comparing his 5150-III rig to a Kemper profile, a QC capture and a Tonex capture. All three captures had their quirks, but sounded great. I don’t see how any of these makes another obsolete, they are different flavors.
I think he meant better, as in convenience. Instead of putting all his physical amps into a kemper, then to pc- he could now emulate all his amps in the computer. Not as convenient for gigs, but much more convenient, in the studio
Lel strong disagree that this amp sim is as good as the real thing, also do you think that the reason you couldn’t hear much of a difference between those pickups is because you’ve been using an amp sim for the last few months? JS
Really? I'd make the argument that digital makes it easier to hear differences between guitars. Or at least that's my experiences using digital vs. an actual amp.
@@martyshwaartz971 honestly I’ve found the opposite, whether it’s a modelling amp or an amp sim I find the differences between pickups are usually more pronounced through a full tube amp than a digital rig, maybe it depends on the amp though
@@JahmezFox Interesting, I wonder what the differences are? My thinking was that digital rigs cut a lot of the feedback and noise that muddies up my higher gain sounds. To be fair though, it could also be the additional control, that low cut can be quite powerful. Maybe I just need a pedalboard of equalisers:hah
@@martyshwaartz971 maybe man, I have a pretty high gain tone but I usually set the gain at about 10-11 o’clock, I also just have ridiculous amounts of gain on tap though but maybe that’s where the difference is coming in 😬 pedalboard of all EQ’s would be interesting but I feel like you’d probably run out of usable and distinct tone combinations after 3 or 4, if you went up to 8 though you could blend the EQ’s 🤔
Nice! I haven’t used the capture on amplitube 5. I was shocked at how high quality it was when i tried it. I usually use the brainworx stuff and it’s great and does the job. But the freedom and workflow for messing around with amplitube it is great, but i find myself with option paralysis with how many tone options things like amplitube and bias fx haha. It is fun to play with them though. At the end of the day if you get good tone for the song and the song is great, how you got there doesn’t really matter
I ask myself, what tone are you looking for then start with an amp that I think fits that sound. Ad some pedals towards the tone I'm after and see how it goes. It is a fantastic experiment in crafting tone.
@@thomastucker5686 yup exactly, that's why i like brainworx cause it sounds great and feels just like the real thing control wise. where as stuff like amplitube and bias are more like an approximation that sounds like it, but manipulating it doesn't feel the same as the real thing so it feels weird. but it can get you where you need to go if you aren't aware of how it should sound or the real thing.
@@CreativeMindsAudio I love playing through tube amps and recording them. It's just not always practical and I am noticing, my amplitube tracks sound fantastic in a mix.
Been a Tube amp snob for the better part of 30 years (Dr. Z. Morgan, BadCat, Mesa, ect....). Recently, last year, had to get a direct option for some small gigs and casino gigs that don't allow amps on stage. Tried a Helix, Headrush, PodGo, and finally settled on the Boss GX-100. About 4 months ago, I added the TONEX pedal.... I just didn't bond with the TONEX one bit. I even bought several profiles, but didn't like them. On a whim, I traded something for a Kemper Stage....HOLY COW! The Kemper may be 12 or 13 years old now, but the sounds I wanted were right there along with all the FX I could possibly want. I've purchased a few professional profiles and loved them all....Not sure what is different, but I guess that's why there are so many different options out today: Kemper, TONEX, Fractal, Helix, Boss, Headrush, ect.... I like Vox better than Fender, you like Fender better.... I like Kemper better, you like TONEX better.... All tools of the trade, just find what works best for you.
Haven't felt a compulsion to bin my Kemper after watching this, although this also sounds awesome. I love using the kemper live and plugged into a real cab it is killer.
I've just let my Amplitube license collect dust...in fact, I don't even have it installed on my new PC.....I was very disappointed with last couple versions and the clunky DAW which always got in the way. I've learned to hate, and ignore anything from IK Multimedia. >>>>> just looked up Amplitube 5 and they still have the stupid built in DAW within the plugin.....nope. Right now I'll stick with EZMIX2 and STL Tonehub. Yes....I realize this video was focusing on Tonex, have at it people! Just not for me.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. The Kemper isn't dead and is still a phenomenal piece of gear. Different strokes for different folks. You still get to an incredible end result regardless of Tone X, AxeFX, Helix, Kemper, Plugins, etc
Yeah you can, but people that lump them all together as you have don’t seem to perceive the feel phenomenon that real tubes, Fractal and Tonex have, and the rest don’t as of today. For most guitar players that have experienced real expensive tube amps IRL there’s an X factor between you and the amp that is hard to catch. Even fractal is slightly missing it, but closer. I am deciding whether tonex has it more still. I think it just might. AI is capable of amazing shit.
@@justinTime077 I've played and owned expensive tube amps. I won't go back. Tube amps belong in the studio. These belong on stage. I said what I said and I meant what I meant.
@@adamluck6439 yeah I am finding that Tonex sounds and feels legit, and that’s how Fractal won me over to modeling. Tonex doesn’t make you stress and labor over getting the weird frequencies out of the tone. It sounds legit through a power amp and guitar cab or monitors.
Kemper isn’t obsolete. My opinion, it still gives you the best snapshots. In fact, 95% of the time, they sound better than the source. Amplitude, Tonex, even ax effects, in instances, don’t sound the same as the source, and it seems like the results need to be tweaked a bit to hit the mark. They all sound great, but we are not talking apples and apples, apples and grapes, or whatever. We’re talking gold bricks and gold bricks. Now, got the average player, all this is great news. Lastly, don’t forget, we are talking, not the quality of the hardware or software. In the end, the conversation is about the validity of amps and cabs.
I’m really glad this is getting more exposure because it’s pretty amazing what this software can do. The UI could use a revamp, it’s not as elegant as something like neural or stl, but still… freaking awesome piece of software.
Sponsored by IK Media, using ToneX and of course " Your Kemper Amp is now Obsolete - Don't Waste Your Money!" You may as well had written "Buy IK Media and dont buy other poduct name here as they suck" caveat "until I get another sponsor who will pay me more"
ToneX is producing excellent captures. One of the coolest things is that being Software, we can expect rapid improvements to the already great results. Being able to model and capture the sound of vintage gear has been a proving ground for how good a technology is. Recreating a sound is a useful achievement, but what interests me most is the ability to imagine a unique Amp, Cab, Speakers, Mic, effect, etc. and easily create it via Software.
That is what I have been waiting for as well. Many of the lesser expensive units had original models, most sounded like crap. What would be cool is being able to mess with the parameters used in the programming of the pieces. Maybe some visual tools that would.convert that to code that could be compiled into usable items. The cool thing about the modellers is that they can be lugged around for live use, yeah laptops can done as well. At the cost of complexity and more than a few failure points added. The 11 11 11 purportedly does have an original sound to it, or the ability to. Challenge is to get a capture of it and use it on a modeller. A little more complex than I want to attempt even with hand holding at this moment in time. Laziness more than capabilities.
"We can expect rapid improvements " Just don't expect that anytime soon. Amplitube still uses the same methods to model their stuff like 10 years ago. They claim they rewrote algorythms , but i seriously doubt that. Reskin and sell. That's exactly what everyone does on the market (think about helix native and metallurgy series. Same (2015) engine)
@@spyware1100 That is not correct. We rebuilt AmpIiTube 5, even redoing the existing amps. We also added VIR technology where there are 600+ IRs per speaker captured precisely (there's a video showing the technology at work), and much more.
IMHO the bass drum could be mixed higher, as well as the cymbals, snare was much louder than the rest of the kit. but of course I'm listening on AudioTechnica MT50 headphones
Newsflash the Kemper is not dead..this guy is paid by Tonex to say that. Kemper are constantly improving and when you buy a Kemper you join a community. This guy runs down a lot of perfectly good technology and doesn’t really have the gravitas or ears to give his “expert” advice. There are a few of these self-proclaimed experts who rarely venture out of their basements
At the studio we switched on ToneX and use the AxefxIII for effects. The best of two digital world today!!! We sold our 7 kempers in just 2 months. That’s the beauty of guitar players community, you can sell at nearly the retail price old outdated products haha
Amplitube blows. I own it and always uninstall it. I’m not sure this would improve the program if it already blows. I even have the extra packs. Also archetype blows this away. The feel of this would suck the life out of me. No one complains about your tone because they are third eye blind.
It’s like everyone is trying to find the best Xerox copy machine. Lol. I will always go with the original analog tube amp and use the copy machine’s like my Kemper and QC for fun.
As I'm watching this, I'm thinking about how many guitarists tend to forget about overdrive pedals, and how much they can help tighten up a high gain rhythm sound.
I only use them as a boost (Gain at zero to a quarter turn) then I use the Amp gain to suit my taste, then again some amps really need a pedal gain crank like most of the Marshalls
Im sure in 5 to 10 years digital amps will be so good they will sound better than original tube amps. More harmonics, better definition and a 1000 times more practical
absolutely stupid to put down a rival, no matter how good the product is...very bad marketing if the product provider knew how the video has been made...after this very very poor video I doubt that I would buy the product...
The software amps have been on point for several years now! The part that doesn't get talked about is the startup cost of getting decent monitors, a good interface, and what to do in lag situations. Obviously, UA-camrs have been on good recording gear long enough they don't even think about what someone switching from an Amp setup to a Software AmpSim has to go through to get it sounding good.
If you already own a decent laptop or pc it's not that expensive. Starter setup costst between 300-500 dollars for an audio interface and studiomonitors. Most people who record already own those.
Yeah I think for my own software amp setup - AmpliTube 5 - it's let down by the fact that I just have PC speakers. Decent speakers at that but they are a 2.1 set, and I don't think that crossover between the satellites and subwoofer does any favours in trying to reproduce the sound of a guitar cab. I certainly don't get the resonance and feel I would be expecting from a real amp. I reckon a decent set of studio monitors would make a big difference but haven't decided on which ones to get yet - I'm living in an apartment with neighbours so don't need to get anything too big/powerful.
The training time depends on your GPU, I do advanced training on my captures and it takes about 30 minutes to train. I have a nvidia GPU though. I've heard non nvidia GPUs take a lot longer.
Too much effort trying to diss valve amps and not enough effort on playing these days. Guitar has really become Iike playing a video game. All focused on new gear. Sounds great so do real amps.
I still think the simplicity and no need for tweaking / fiddeling into the profiles the Kemper makes is what makes it a superior experience to me. Also stuff like reamping with the digital I/O is so easy, that I almost never reach for amp sims.
*sigh* Another amp sim with overly buzzy distortion in the high end that's bound to create a whole lot of aliasing. Like we needed more of that. Thanks, but no thanks.
I swear by IK's stuff, and ToneX has been no exception. They just need to release a useful pedal option for live performance that doesn't involve tooling around with a laptop or tablet.
So you’re saying the Kemper is obsolete because your sponsor released a software copycat? I tried ToneX for a month, it doesn’t come close to what you can get with the Kemper. And don’t get me started with latency 😅
I have been using AmpliTube for all my effects for about ten years now and I’ve never been disappointed. The various built-in amp emulators are amazing. To be able to capture and model physical amps is just an added bonus.
most slept on tool, i remember watching him dunk sims, still using amplitube 3 and just using a better cab emulation and now that its in a nice package suddenly inbox tone dont suck but when we said for 10 years now its fine already amp heads couldnt stfu how you cant make soft that good
I hate playing Metal trougha clean tone then ya have to wait to process it and a third of the time ya get nothing but a PC crash and start over. Thats why they make combo amps. Theyre Great, You should try one
I'm happy with my HeadRush at this point in time, but it's cool to see improvements in modelling all over the place. I don't use PC or PC software for stuff like this (music production in general), but I see the appeal of that. I just prefer hands-on hardware that isn't gonna crash on me, is portable, resellable/tradable, etc.
Speaking of crashing I was gigging a headrush mid of last year and it died on me halfway through the set went to get warranty and took them 2 months to get it back to me. Ended up selling the unit and got some money back. The modeling was nothing like what’s from kemper or axe fx though
Very happy with my HR to, been working flawless for about 6 months now. I put the neural dsp IR's in it and many other custom profiles, pretty much got a quad cortex for a lot less money. How it is when trying to make your own profiles from your own gear etc i dunno about.
I traded a couple heads and 1x12 cabs for a headrush and it bricked on me within two days. They sent me a new one and I was digging it. I went to universal audio and their amp sims are great. I have amplitube and it’s pretty awesome. But if I were playing out I’d probably want a rig that doesn’t involve a computer.
Yeah, HeadRush isn't a profiler, so I know it's not in the same league as these things. I don't know how good all the models are; I mostly am using the JC-120 and a Marshall and they sound good to me. But I've always been a solid state user and relied on modellers for my recording purposes (POD 2.0 > RP-355 > Mustang V V2 > MX5). Believe me, if I had the money, I'd be running something much more expensive (and I'd be playing a vintage Fender Jazzmaster rather than a Classic Vibe).
Great stuff Glenn! I've been really digging the AXE I/O interface that IK has. It has built in re-amp output, tuner, etc. The best part was it came Amplitube. It really felt like buying this great software and they threw in this really neat Itallian interface that works fucking great. I know it's marketed for guitar players, but it's also a hidden gem with recording vocals too. Together those tools paired together have really helped a lot with learning and overall improvement over the last year. Amplitube's also a hell of a lot of fun to fiddle around and experiment. Damn I really wish I had access to something like this a decade ago. It's amazing how far technology has come. Would really love to possibly see some more Amplitube stuff down the road. You explain things better than those other assholes, and you really help us understand better! Thank you sir for everything you do! Cheers from Pennsylvania!
I bought that interface during the earlier days of the covid pandemic because it came with amplitube and I wanted to learn how to record my guitar on my computer. I still have the AXE I/O but I mainly use a Behringer Uphoria interface since it's a little simpler. Still love and use amplitube every time I play.
I still love my Kemper and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made back in 2014. Now that it's 2023, I'm still glad that I bought it, it's great to have a tone box that isn't in my computer, but I'm not sure that I'd be willing to fork out the money for it today if I didn't already own it. Aside from it being independent from my computer and having the best tuner I've ever used, there really isn't any advantage to owning one unless you play live.
The Kemper has been my go to for 3+ years now. Prob not going to change it up anytime soon, but the ToneX sounds are just as good from what I can tell.
Just got ToneX a few weeks ago and it's unbelievable. I did a full capture of my actual rig and it's literally identical sounding. You can't tweak settings the way you can with a real rig, but that's almost better when you're trying to get work done. No distractions. I don't even have their hardware, just a Radial passive reamp box.
Kemper's value was for replacing multiple amps and effects pedals for touring. Come on man, amp sims are a different niche. I still enjoyed the video and appreciate your consumer advocacy
Not a fan whatsoever My Kemper rig is powered by real living breathing tubes and pushes massive air through their two 4x12s, NOT FRFR! Can Sim off obviously. Different strokes for different folks.
I wonder when there will be a “Tone X is dead” video. Since Kemper is the daddy of them all. I don’t think anything will replace the Kemper, we just build on it. In the end you use what works for you. It’s not a competition, it’s made into a competition. It’s all about what comes out of your fingers. Too bad about the clickbait title, being a sponsored video makes it even worse.
Axe FX III is more than enough for me, have never felt the need to make my own captures thus have no use for anything like this or a kemper or quad cortex, cool that the capability is possible via software though for those that want or need it. 😎
it's about more than that..there is nothing close to the Kemper Kabinet which merges the best of FRFR and 'amp in the room' together. Kemper has the best ecosystem.
That's pretty bloody impressive. Taking the Kemper method and making it software based is a great idea. I've been doing a version of this with Positive Grid Bias Amp for a couple of years now, but it's nice to see another way of doing it that's just as effective for just as little cash, and without Positive Grid's ridiculous insistence on selling you a whole other product just to get effects.
Loving the tones you've been dishing out over the last few months. Also props for the serous improvement on your playing. I'd also like to take the opportunity to make the suggestion for you to demo the Assault Audio AHM 5050. It's a killer 5150 iii plug-in. It's super realistic sounding, and it also includes all 3 channels. Throw in your preferred IR, and enjoy the amazing tones 🤌🏻🤘🏻

I totally dig this channel and both the entertainment as well as the priceless tips and information you are providing - I've learned and laughed a lot since I discovered your show a few months ago. Apropos priceless and the subject of this episode: I just stumbled over a handful of remarkably simple but (at least to my ears) pretty great sounding free plugins and ended up experimenting with a plugin-chain consisting of Analog Obsession PEDALz --> AXP Softamp PSA --> Analog Obsession KABIN. Do you know these, and if so, what do you think of the plugins and combining them this way? IMHO this is a simple all-in-one solution providing almost any sound imaginable at an astonishing quality level without having to handle dozens of parameters and IR Cabs nor spending any money at all. Or is it only a naive noob's dream of cheating the system? 🙃 (I mean, I was on the verge of insanity with around 100 plugins from bx_rockrack to Waves GTR3 until I found and tried these three easy to handle freeware plugins)...
@@SpectreSoundStudios Everybody knows that setup is absolutely not road worthy especially when using other gear like wireless and external effects in the loop. Sure plugins are becoming great but there is a reason you dont see pro players using laptops.

Saying the Kemper is dead is like saying the Marshall jcm800 is dead. It’s just another amp. I still use mine.
I hope so, Kempers are great for live performances
Eleven racks are selling for $200 all day now
There is nothing close to the Kemper Kabinet which merges the best of FRFR and 'amp in the room' together. Kemper has the best ecosystem.
Amplitude sounds like crap to me. Brittle and harsh. Is the capture technology much better sounding?
Agreed
...not even close.
They have a pedal format device, it's very good.
@@CaliLuke I thought that was only for use in conjunction with the amp though.
Fed to the PA system, obviously.
Liquid Profiling makes Kemper the BEST OPTION for modelling/profiling..so NO, IT'S FAR FROM OBSOLETE NOW....
Oh you mean that thing that’s NOT RELEASED?
Glenn, bless you for that V30 IR! I'm running it on my Torpedo X and just for shits and giggles I've connected an Orange Crush Mini to it. Sounds freakin huge. Just goes to show that a good IR/speaker does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to guitar tone.
I aint dragging mac to my gigs. I aint no damn Skrillex
@@acheleg Also as in click bait, as Glenn is not above rage baiting certain groups within the guitar community.
@@chaptermasterpedrokantor1623 This
@@chaptermasterpedrokantor1623 Its smart bussiness.
Well, tonex is a lot more affordable.
Never going to beat Kempers free and consistent updates.
It’s hard to seem non-biased when your promoting your endorser.
Oh I’m completely biased here.
Kemper is finished
@@adamluck6439 fat chance. Have you checked out any of the STL Tones profiles? Those are nuts
Agreed!
You can keep it I’ll stick with my amps
IK Multimedia makes some great stuff. I’d really love to see you review their new iLoud Precision speakers.
I wank IK to start using this technology to make EQs and and compressors like acustica audio
This is exactly how I use the Kemper - with the added advantage of I can use it live.
IMHO the bass drum could be mixed higher, as well as the cymbals, snare was much louder than the rest of the kit. but of course I'm listening on AudioTechnica MT50
headphones
But what if you forget your laptop?
this is a metal PRODUCTION channel, jog on
It’s like everyone is trying to find the best Xerox copy machine. Lol. I will always go with the original analog tube amp and use the copy machine’s like my Kemper and QC for fun.
As I'm watching this, I'm thinking about how many guitarists tend to forget about overdrive pedals, and how much they can help tighten up a high gain rhythm sound.
sounds better without them IMO
its kinda depend on your amp too, and i got a cheap amp but also im like distortion pedal too and i have an OD too
I only use them as a boost (Gain at zero to a quarter turn) then I use the Amp gain to suit my taste, then again some amps really need a pedal gain crank like most of the Marshalls
@@nethbt ugh.... Marshall sucks. They sound good... but never again.
I still hear that plastic sound....
It’s funny that nobody has mentioned it over the last few weeks.
Can't imagine how good all this will be in another 5 o 10 years. Its already amazing
It's already miles ahead of 3 years ago! We've had Tonehub, Quad Cortex, now this... the bar is raised, and it's probably far from over
Im sure in 5 to 10 years digital amps will be so good they will sound better than original tube amps. More harmonics, better definition and a 1000 times more practical
5-10 years is one model iteration 😛
absolutely stupid to put down a rival, no matter how good the product is...very bad marketing if the product provider knew how the video has been made...after this very very poor video I doubt that I would buy the product...
Not dead for us live situations. Kemper works great for this purpose. Glenn.. if that’s your REAL name.. Ha!
The training time depends on your GPU, I do advanced training on my captures and it takes about 30 minutes to train. I have a nvidia GPU though. I've heard non nvidia GPUs take a lot longer.
WhicH GPU if you don't mind me asking?
@@joejohnson8966 I'm just running a 2070 nothing special.
@@rossbalch Thank you for answering. Hope it gets even faster when I buy a new NVIDIA graphics card.
*sigh*
Another amp sim with overly buzzy distortion in the high end that's bound to create a whole lot of aliasing.
There's nothing more portable than a good laptop frankly.
Wow, what a fearless review. I’m sure this opinion was definitely not bought😂 all right guys go buy this new thing now 🤦🏼♂🤣
Great stuff Glenn!
But where would amp modellers be without original amps to model? If they kill the amp market where will the innovation come from?
The Kemper has been my go to for 3+ years now. Prob not going to change it up anytime soon, but the ToneX sounds are just as good from what I can tell.
No effects loop is a glaringly mistake for this product. You can’t place effects after the amp and before the IR/Cab
What a title, had to check it out immediately 😅
Could not help comment since I was here first! 😊
Is that the fried asshole sound or Line 6 Spyder? I can't tell the difference.
I think the Kemper still deserves praise, it brought so much to the table when it came out. Let’s see what they do now with everyone on their heels.
Axe FX III is more than enough for me, have never felt the need to make my own captures thus have no use for anything like this or a kemper or quad cortex, cool that the capability is possible via software though for those that want or need it. 😎
Totally agree Glenn! IK Tonex is hands down the best in the box guitar/bass sim you can buy now.
it's about more than that..there is nothing close to the Kemper Kabinet which merges the best of FRFR and 'amp in the room' together. Kemper has the best ecosystem.
New piece of gear being pushed by company. This always happens. Completely disagree btw.
You mean I don’t need to replace my $400 tube amp with a $2500 digital amp sim anymore?! Oh goodie!

Make better reviews and stop talking BS. its shows. After the word diet, research accurate information. Or recycle yourself.
Oh my Kemper is obsolete now? Sure let me bring my desktop to a festival show and change patches with a mouse on stage lol.

You should tell that to the hundreds of professional touring musicians still using the Kemper.
So if you captured it at a 6 instead of an 8, then when you fully crank the gain on the model it'd go to 11?
