"No battle plan survives contact with the enemy." Sun Tzu said it, and today the third forward special operations team witnessed their Grand Admiral overcoming it. The failure of the planetary fortress deployment and the preceding "glitch" in the newest batch of SCV rally-relay chips were related, both resulting from a sophisticated Protoss cyber-attack. Of course, Marcus had this information sealed, and it'll remain confidential until long after the war's end. The targeted mass deployment of widow mines throughout the region proved effective against opposing forces. The loss of the SCVS and the delay of the fortress package deployment was deemed the failures of Sergeant Jimmy Bradley, who was on duty at the nearby sub-station at the time and summarily put to death for wanton dereliction of duty during a live-fire encounter with an extraterrestrial hostile force. In the opinion of this flight medical commodore, Bradley's sacrifice in the name of operational security and - more importantly - taskforce morale is a clear gain against the enemy, a value any one of us would gladly give in the interests of galactic security. Or, as the Grand Admiral would say, "it was a free trade." When did I become so callous about death? When did that day finally come? Of course, the answer always pulls me back to the early days of the Swiss Nebula campaigns, before the fleets united. Then, I lost the luxury of overvaluing the individual life, mine or otherwise. End log. [From the journal of F.M.O. Afton Dinwight Day 964 of the Thermal Wars]
I'd like to see you use that proxy factory/widow mine you used on impulse a few games ago. proxy the widowmine factory, and while that's distracting and killing workers, get the fusion core and a BC made. then you can teleport in 2 and harass even more until you have 6-8 BCs and can really start raiding bases.
Pro protoss like to build crappy units because they can do a lot with them, like harass and get away. Unfortunately they can't actually win fights with them.
Best game yet. That was everything good about a cheesy tactical style plus a full strategic macro game. Awesome play. That said, big missed opportunity for not calling those SCVs 'silly geese'.
Possibly the only person on Earth I trust when they say “Trust me.”
I trust him too, just a little bit.
Yep! Only person on earth 🌎 😌 ✨️
Truth! Cheers Mason.
You fool. He literally warned you... "DontTrustMe"
hahahahaha

Preview of uThermal's new challenge - long distance mining at enemy's base at 12:49
Seeing that juggling of the marines in the Medivac was amazing.
I lol'd at "let me cook". Good stuff Marc
1:46 'Would you cheese me? I'd cheese me. I'd cheese me hard."
The savage laughter…
"Let me cook" hagaga 😂
What a crazy game! Amazing content as usual Thermy, keep it up!
Those SCV's went so rogue :D
I saw that click and was confused the whole time.
They were like “Fuck this work environment”!!! 😂😂😂
"Trust me" always delivers! Thx uThermal for the awesome content!
That final blink decided his fate
Always trust you, 🥺 Bang on ! (The train of scv's surprisingly in the enemy's main had me in tears. =))
Awesome! Wonder how interesting a bong cloud alternative like 'slightly misplace every expansion' would be.
it should definitely (if only briefly) prevent opponents from thinking it's a pro like Thermie
talking about crazy stuff youve done - bongclouding a 6.5 protoss pro sure was something xD
I trusted you. I wasn't disapointed.
laughed so hard at 13:30
