we wake up every morning and love seeing PJ's energy. We lost spunky our 19 year old JR about a year ago. Your morning videos have been great therapy for me and the wife. Sorry but I think you already know. PJ is the star. even she knows it. lol
I'm happy you like your Milwaukee cordless saw. I pondered buying one to take on my ATV with me, but for 1/3 the price, less weight and 3X the power, I bought a Stihl MS170. Though I've heard good reviews on the Husqvarna cordless chainsaw, it was still too crazy expensive for an old retired guy. cheers & stay safe🇨🇦
You got me fired up over here in georgia waiting on turkey season to start. Hopefully I will get my first turkey harvest, good luck on your turkey hunting season and I appreciate the tips and advice on being a better turkey hunter. Take care see you on the next video
I hear you about that kicking, I was shooting a 12 gauge #5 ,3 inch shells at a SCDNR gun range, on my last shot Game Warden was behind me watching . So I got down on the gun a little Ttoo close. BOOM! scoped me broke my sunglasses got a big old bruise side of my eye. Perfect shot, tattooed the gobbler head on the target.(35 yards). Maybe 20 gauges and 410 seem like they might be the ticket for turkey's, with the ammunition that's out on the market today. Good video
I'm no professional at all but it might help to turn all your other feeders off for a couple of weeks to try and consentrat the hogs to your traps where the only place corn is. Just a suggestion or idea.
Where I live, .410 shells are hard to find and expensive. I can buy 2 boxes of 12 gauge shells for the price of one box of the .410 and might have a little change left. When I use to rabbit hunt, I never used anything smaller than #4 shot, preferably #2. I never liked the idea of having to spit shot out while eating it. Plus, with throwing less pellets, I had to be more accurate. My preferred rabbit gun was an Ithaca model 37 feather light in 20 gauge.
Back in the 80’s there were 3 or 4 times as many turkeys you had to have skill to hunt turkeys. Now we have blinds, super chokes, pellets that will kill turkeys at twice the distance, decoys and the hardwood flats have been converted to pine plantations. Turkeys going to end up like quail at this rate.
@@jeffreyhouston2043 perfectly said. I know Hollis folks got a good sized spread but turkeys can wander off many 1000 acres pretty quickly. Bad things happen to them when they wander onto the neighbors.
@@lukedog7028 you are correct about the turkeys becoming like quail soon. Turkeys are non existent where I hunted 25 years ago. Nothing but planted pines.
good morning to u all ok i think there a hog rub they call it it like a oil u put on the tree have you ever tried that inside your trap maybe give it a try just a thought pj getting big she a fire one

Good
Looks to me like you ready for a big ole Tom. I told my wife I was about ready to try my hand at a Tom and she said, Tom who? 😂 Y’all have a good-un!

Do you prefer the electric over a gas saw? How long do those batteries last?
Yep

Whatever you do, don't put that feeder inside the trap. It makes more sense to keep feeding outside the trap. Be patient, lol.
👍
That Milwaukee chainsaw is no joke.
👍
What year is your FJ? Many miles on it? What engine 4.6L I have always wanted one. . . very cool vehicle

@@HollisFarmsMS You have more faith in others than me.
