loving your content! I hate the videos showing the "meta" and game breaking stuff.. takes the fun out of the game. I like your realism approach.... Would love to see a video of your pre-match preparations - what do you look for in scout reports or adjustments you like to make. i.e. scout report shows that the team do this a lot, so I will adjust this to counter etc
Awesome video once again. Loved your little comment on City as well. I can't stand watching them either. Dull as dishwater. 2010 Barcelona without Messi, Xavi, Iniesta - so without the fun.
You’re the best around man, in terms of explaining systematically how the game works and what are the tiny little details that prevail. I’m eagerly awaiting your video on team width and tempo, those are super important and I didn’t see anyone talking about it thoroughly and seriously like you usually do. Keep making these videos mate, they’re top notch.
@@theavgdad Less things to worry initially: no youth system, etc. I also like to build the squad and tactics slowly. I spend three weeks to finish a season.
@@angelobenito-aguilar503 fair enough! I personally love non-league to build tactics around odd players with the occasional weird attribute set, play with wide targetmen and so on :)
It’s funny how people see things on FM differently. Randall Correa was my best player in the first half of the season, and I sold him for £48m potentially rising to £58m to Man City in January, and you’re talking about potentially replacing him! Currently on track to finish third in the league! Fran Perez was a great winger for me, could he potentially be trained at a wing back with decent tackling? Also beware that Almeida has a £20m release clause that could get triggered very early on. Great video once again 👍🏻
:D awesome to hear! And tbh Correa does look awesome, I'm just not convinced about his mentals or technical ability when he gets close/into the box. Defensively, oh my god what an asset to have. Neat idea with Fran, I had him pencilled as a retrained Mez, but WB could be interesting for him
Hi, thank you very much for your videos, which is teaching me the most of all I was able to read / watch on this topic. I have a proposition, if you can do a video (in the future ? ) on how to ideally react / adapt tactics or roles to be able to counter opposition changes, for example ? This is my biggest weakness and I believe a lot of people out there will find it helpful too, as much as me. Thank you for all of your awesomely detailed tutorials !
Greetings from Turkey, very helpful videos and keep up the good work. Would really preciate a vid from you about the pressing structure, "rest defence" or implying real life coaches' tactics in to FM
Very useful content, really. I hope you do more like this, I'm exciting for that I have one, probably obvious, question... What do you think about do changes in the match (like positions and roles) related to the familiarity or dynamic of the team? Do you think that it could be countetproductive if we make a lot of changes? Btw, sorry for my english but again, thanks for the content, it means a lot! Gj man
no such thing as an obvious question! afaik it does reduce a little tactical familiarity, but in-game changes (if they're sensible and take advantage or counter something that the opponent is legit doing) are totally worth doing. Within reason tho, way too many changes and it can go out of whack
You sir have made what was initially a very frustrating game, into a very interesting logical puzzle. I know what to look out for now! Thank you! Please continue! Can you make a video about opposition instructions? I want to shut down Messi from destroying my MLS team.
I love the line DLF holding up the game up top & developing moves, but, saw a lot of snatched chances from your team when you got near the box. Thinking that maybe you either need the world beating Striker who can do it all, or, players coming in behind who can really finish their chances. Right now it seems you’re laying the ball off to guys who can’t get it done. Of course this is a tiny slice of your season &!I don’t know what I don’t know. Could have just been the way the day fell. Just an observation. HUGE fan, I learn so much more how to play the game than a lot of the FT streamers, please keep it up!! & best of luck on the save!
hey, thank you so much, and yeah! You're absolutely right on those observations, that team would absolutely need a world class CMa or, ideally, a top striker to make it a front two!
Great content once again, congrats! I am a big fan of full match highlights when building a new tactic or trying to find out what's wrong with my team. Glad to see other people playing like this. It makes me feel more "normal" :)) What do you think about fiving the DLF-A "dribble less" player instruction, instead of changing him to DLF-S? Would that work, maybe giving you a little bit more penetration up front? Also quicker counters since the DLF would not be chasing players down to your own half on an attack duty? I have previously found success with similar formations where my team has a strong & narrow midfield shape, completely shutting the middle of the field down. In order to make more use of the wingbacks, I played my team slightly narrower on Balanced and told the wingbacks to "stay wider", personally. That kind of felt like the wingbacks were trying to seperate themselves from the midfield traffic which we deliberately create to give them space. I think your attack minded players in the midfield strata would create overloads in oppostion defensive line, including the fullbacks (especially the left back) which would eventually create huge spaces on the wing for your WB-R. Again, great content. Thums up!
Also, some of the mistakes the players make in this match (the very simple passes or errors in decision making) feel like they are based on rather weak team cohesion than any tactical failure. I think you will encounter less and less of those in time, after the players get used to this completely new system they are playing in. Especially Pepelu :))
smashing couple of comments, there, my FM-dude! That's some seriously cool insight about the width and manipulation of space, and very fair point about team/tactical cohesion, reckon you're right on the money there. I need to progress the save a few months and see! Good thoughts on the DLF as well - might try that. I'll report back!
The most constructive review on play and tactics I've seen in a long time. Thanks for this info and the time you devoted to making the vid.
I appreciate that very, very much!
Majorly underrated channel, thank you for putting in the time to walk us through
I appreciate that!

I appreciate that very much! Tempo and width are defo on my list, coming soon!
I AM waiting for the next videos!
Gracias, I like your full game suggestion. I also watch 15 or 20 minutes and decide what to adjust but I play level 8, 9 and 10 most of the times.
What do you enjoy most about playing there?

absolutely! It's something I'm working on, I'm going to try and have it up next week :) glad you're getting value from my stuff!
Great video, long but absolutely worth it!

for sure! This is something I'm working on
my English is very bad. but, somehow I can understand you very well. its help a lot. Thank you. I'm gonna join your first team channel!

Hi, can u tranform your videos in a blog version? That will make things more researchable. Nice video btw
This is totally something I would love to do but right now it's a time thing - a good blog piece takes a while. One day!
I hate crosses / wing play...I love through balls :)
I need 4231 broo 🔥
what'cha want to know? :)
Can you help me fix my tactic?
what is your tactic?
