Consider if you will, that the first woman singing (Marcella) is the man’s lover, but is actually addiction.

What a wonderful surprise to see you react to this tonight!! One of my all-time favorites ever!! I always interpreted the story as the second woman coming down the stairs represented the Spirit of Death (as a Temptress!) She's come to claim the male who is unconscious and living between the two worlds. The powerful force of Love from his lover who is caring for him revives him and Death has to go back to the light from whence she came. Now, I will really flip if you do a reaction to The KLF feat. Tammy Wynette on the song "Justified & Ancient" - definitely the single/video version with Tammy and not the album version which does not include her! Thanks for another great reaction and selection!!

It was No.1 over here in the UK charts for weeks. What a fantastic song! Marcella Detroit (the one with the short hair) used to be a backing singer/songwriter for Eric Clapton back in the 70s and Siobhan Fahey (the Grim Reaper!) was in Bananarama. Great reaction again :) x
