We tried to make Alvi play with his old toys, but our furry friend doesn't show any interest at all. But maybe we could make some other cat on UA-cam happy with these redundant toys? One of mine taught himself to play "fetch" when he was a little kitten. I bought them both toys which, of course, they ignore. 😏
But, the one who still likes to play "fetch" likes nothing more than chasing after a foil brie wrapper and bringing it back to me...10,000 times. 😕😊
Oh well, at least it gives me an excuse to eat brie! 😂😋

Our cat is 5 years old. She doesn't like to play with toys. She loves biting and chasing feet.

I am laughing so hard at this! I have finally stopped buying toys for my cat, because he couldn’t possibly care less about them! I saw that you have a cat tunnel there too; I imagine Alvi is about as interested in it as my cat was about his! In fact, my cat was scared of it because of the noise it made when he touched it. I passed it on to another cat who enjoys it now. Ah, the money I’ve spent on cat entertainment!! 💸💸💸
He used the tunnel for a little while but got bored with it. Now doesn't pay any attention....

My cat loves to play with his toys, of course he’s a little over a year old. He was found in a motor of a car. My husband calls him Motor Head, his name is Milo. I guess Milo will be like Alvi not wanting to play.
With some toys Alvi will still play :)

OMG, when it comes to toys Alvi is just like my kitty. Of all the toys I've bought for her, and no matter how much I entice her to play, there is just one, a little fabric mouse, that she's ever shown any interest in. In the nearly 7 years I've known her, she's played with this toy perhaps 10 minutes or so! ^..^
Often a string or a piece of paper works best.
Cats always love new toys

Alvi!!!! We have a big box of "used" been-there-done-that toys a s well. There's something about a mouse 'fresh out of the box' that gets Kwazi and Uli excited, lol

Laser lights work indeed! And strings for instance. But with these particular toys he is just bored, we guess.

Hi Folks. Gail In FL..Sunday too early...Lordy..funny...playing you! Sweet to send toys on...with 5 each other is the perfect toy..BUT a cheapo mouse toy rolled in catnip is a winner...it isn't so much the toy as is the smell. I have one cat that likes tomato products. I could dip and roll a mouse toy in tomato juice and he would think it was the greatest thing since buttered popcorn. Then it smelled like prey -- if tomato is prey...I wondered where Alvi was. It's nice to see that he is thoroughly ignoring you as usual. I hope you have a wonderful day. We had a lotta rain in Florida yesterday. We are tired of it. We wish we could send it to someplace that needs it...blessings and take care over there...

You mistook Alvi's meditative state for laziness. You can tell by the look he kept giving you that he was not happy that you had done this
My orange tabby, Sammy, was the one who gave me the secret to "warp" drive technology.
