SHOCKING Harbor Freight Tool Roll Setup

Van Neistat famously says "Kit your s**t", and this video embodies that ethos. On a recent project wherein I was installing a new flagpole by the water, I was stopped cold in my tracks as I needed a Phillips screwdriver. Not having one in the side-by-side, I drove back to the shop, grabbed it, and drove back down. That led me to consider building a kit inside of the Carhartt Tool Roll that i'd recently acquired. This kit will help solve common problems i'm likely to face while riding in the Mule.
What do you think of this toolbag setup?

🙋‍♂Hi Peter! LOL, you remind me of my x-wife in that she would buy shoes and she would always say "How can you go wrong?". The problem was she would buy 20 pair of shoes on sale and then wonder where all the money went. I understand your point and I have toolbags all over the place it just makes sense. U need a tool roll with zippers, i do. Sockets and a ratchet plus extention you are sorely missing.

I hear you. What ratchet and socket set would you recommend for this kind of roll? I suppose I could do something similar to what I did with my truck EDC

Most of those top pockets are wasted. Best to have a flap that stops the tools falling out.

This is sitting in the mule 99.9% of the time. Unrolling on its hood. So far haven’t had any issues with tools falling out and am optimizing for breadth of available tools. Would consider less tools and optimize for security of them

@@HeyDerFolks I noticed that the more tools I had, the more people borrowed or stole them…so I made one good set, and a small amount of tools randomly through the house( ie: I keep a small screwdriver under the sink in the bathroom for the toilet seat, lights, random flathead stuff) and I found that method worked better. Still have a ton of tool kits and whatnot, but they mostly sit and pulley pullers and stuff are unique so I don’t count that type of tooling…that’s what I do and why. Have a great day man. I’m better than no one…except Sawyer Brown…he knows what he did.
