What a collection, It's something most people can only dream of having. Hopefully whoever buys some of these kits will appreciate it as much as Larry did.
Hopefully Larry's collection will find a multitude of appreciative new homes and the funds raised will help his nearest and dearest in life. It's an excellent assortment!
Very sad to hear Larry's passing, 58 is far too young to leave this world and he's left an amazing RC Collection to the world. Larry sounds like he was an absolute legend, and what an amazing collection of fantastic RC cars!!
RIP. to Larry. What an amazing collection. 👏 I've got a M8 in California has around about 400+ish tamiya kits , and parts more than Japan itself lol he is where I sourced my TT01-R And my TT02 Type SR
What a collection.. massive respect to Larry for being such a great collector.. i hope that the sale makes the family as much money as possible.. RIP Larry
Anyone else here ever think about how when you die, your prized RC collection instantly becomes a bunch of silly toys for your loved ones to deal with? I’m not even that old, and my collection is modest, but I still think about it sometimes 😐
Awesome that you put this out on UA-cam for people to see. Glad I shared the link with you and you let me post it your page. Some absolute peaches in this collection. Now if I could afford some.
I recently lost my dad and he brought me my first Hornet kit send my condolences to the family and if I could get my hands on that Super Hornet that'd be fantastic
Codolences to the Zabolotny family. Damn, Gav this hit me a little hard - I'm 55..... I guess today wasn't a good day for me coming to terms with my own mortality.. However, THANK YOU for sharing!
RIP Larry. Would love a pre-built kit just knowing that Larry had been involved in it.. and ship it over to Australia. We can spread Larry's legacy. Condolences to the family.
That's insane! I am wondering how someone was able to amass such a fortune to collect all these, starting at a young age? Rest in peace. I hope the money goes towards the surviving family members for their future, and I hope they themselves remain interested in the hobby.
Huge Condolences to the family and its sad to have heard this news , and its awesome how the Spirit if Larry will Carry on more and more through these hundreds of kits to be distributed all around the world - May You Be In A Holy Hobby Shop In Heaven Larry - R.I.P Larry Zabolotny. And Special Thanks To Gavin and the Gang at RC KICKS for this Video , cheers all -Peace :-)
Omg, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't just seen it!!! What an amazing collection, a life's work. Sad he wasn't blessed with more years to enjoy it. Condolences to his family, that's quite a legacy he's left.
Very sad, but it looks like he had a great time while he was around. Unfortunately a lot of the kits/lots will probably sell for more than they are worth, especially after other fees (shipping)...At least from my experience with these types of auctions.
As sad as this is, these extra models that he has more than 1 of (in box) are really a waste and could of been purchased by someone else who maybe missed out on that particular model. Rather greedy in that respect. But that's def a huge collection. The auction bring in big bucks for the family. Maybe that was his plan all along to provide for family
Where did you get that sandrail that's on your desk? I've wanted to find one like that so bad most of my life!!!! So awesome. I'm subbing in hopes that I get a reply
Very sad for a collector point of view, so much great collection and you are hoping your kids have the same interest so they can appreciate it but no😢, the good thing they can sell it at the right value to a people who can appreciate it, rather than seeing it being thrown away or be donated to goodwill.
I would say that the auction will make sure that none will end up in goodwill - although an RC enthusiast would be overjoyed to find such a treasure in a goodwill store I reckon!
You might have missed it in the video but with the amount of stuff available it has been split into two auctions over two days. Click on the second day.
I did not list shipping on built semi trucks because I'm not confident they will get anywhere without small parts (mirrors, lights, etc) broken off. If someone really wants one of them shipped, then contact me and we will try to figure something out.
For anyone that hasn't done an action before, this isn't like Ebay. Look in to the auction and pay attention to things like shipping costs and buyer premium.
My condolences to the family... 58 is way too young. Did he make it an early retirement? I hope so but dang... What am I missing? Looking over the website I see 340 lots and no kits... and they say there's 500 lots or so and unassembled kits... Can someone help? I'd love to place a bid or two on some of these amazing items but I really want an unassembled kit.
Its not the largest collection,I know of three others who have same and much more, one has every Tamiya RC x5 (minimum) made up to around 1991 stacked floor to 10 foot ceiling on Metal racks retired from his regular business and more ,also their parts collection is massive and easily equals or surpasses the NIB kits.... Another has 2 retired 40 foot trailers packed fairly solid let alone what his house holds and there are more I have come across to a varying degrees
The question is; why? Is it an investment to them that they plan to sell off while alive, and get some money to spend the last few years of their lives. Or just for the feeling of own these kits, good old horders?)
So strange to see. What's the point with scuh large amounts? Some collectors have ideas, to some time in the future open a store and sell wht hey have collected. But most horders can never part with what they've got when all comes to all
Just want to say: a LOT of those uncompleted kits are going below retail. I paid $200 for a rough rider when it first came out back in the 70's and it's going for $245 now, that's like 1/10th the retail price I paid. If anyone is looking to collect, now's the time.
Condolences to the family
Bought the Mountaineer, Super hornet, and the Super Clod from this auction. Just completed the clod while on vacation. RIP Larry. And thank you.
RIP Larry. That's a legacy of treasure he's left there for sure.
Nothing but respect and condolences to the family involved. Rest in peace 😞
Very sad to hear Larry's passing, 58 is far too young to leave this world and he's left an amazing RC Collection to the world. Larry sounds like he was an absolute legend, and what an amazing collection of fantastic RC cars!!

Those 959s are the rarest. Lots of collectors drooling.

Taken too soon, R.i.P Larry 🙏🏼
Anyone else here ever think about how when you die, your prized RC collection instantly becomes a bunch of silly toys for your loved ones to deal with? I’m not even that old, and my collection is modest, but I still think about it sometimes 😐

Awesome that you put this out on UA-cam for people to see. Glad I shared the link with you and you let me post it your page. Some absolute peaches in this collection. Now if I could afford some.

I recently lost my dad and he brought me my first Hornet kit send my condolences to the family and if I could get my hands on that Super Hornet that'd be fantastic
Wow he must have an incredible collection and dedication
What a collection. RIP Larry
Codolences to the Zabolotny family. Damn, Gav this hit me a little hard - I'm 55..... I guess today wasn't a good day for me coming to terms with my own mortality.. However, THANK YOU for sharing!
It's easy to forget you don't have unlimited time on this little ball.
Condolences to the familiy. 58 is far too early to go. I knowas my dad passed at nearly the same age.
Awesome collection. I may bid on a few items.
RIP Larry. Would love a pre-built kit just knowing that Larry had been involved in it.. and ship it over to Australia. We can spread Larry's legacy. Condolences to the family.
We can ship to Australia!
Sorry to hear of their loss! Great to see the family giving so many others chance to have fun! 🙏🏻✝️
Amazing collection and condolences to the family
A boxed falcon and 959 would be a dream....
Thanks for the info. I plan to buy a kit or two. Sorry to hear the passing of your father. RIP.
Now thats a massive collection.
Larry had really good taste in RC cars.. 🤤
I have been following and studying this collection for a month. Many of the kits are pieced together and may or may not be complete.
Yes for sure. Some open kits could be missing one or two parts so keep that in mind if you are buying online.
That's insane! I am wondering how someone was able to amass such a fortune to collect all these, starting at a young age? Rest in peace. I hope the money goes towards the surviving family members for their future, and I hope they themselves remain interested in the hobby.

Wow, amazing collection!
Goodbye Larry. Condolences to the family.
Omg, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't just seen it!!! What an amazing collection, a life's work. Sad he wasn't blessed with more years to enjoy it. Condolences to his family, that's quite a legacy he's left.
Yah most of the models are open box and being sold as is... no guarantees that everything is in the box!!
Very kool. I'm getting a Rc donation group together for kids. Since there isnt much to do in a small country town.....
Rip Larry 🙏
Very sad, but it looks like he had a great time while he was around. Unfortunately a lot of the kits/lots will probably sell for more than they are worth, especially after other fees (shipping)...At least from my experience with these types of auctions.
Million Dollar Collection. RIP
Rest In Peace what a legend
R.I.P Larry
Big Respect
A big rc Fan
😑
Mega - hope they sell for what they are worth
He who dies with the most toys wins 🏆 😋 this guy was the heavy weight champion 🏆
Nothing else to say accept WOW!!!
Nevermind, I stand corrected. Thanks.😁😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🚚
Really impressive collection. Theres quite many higly wanted models. Sadly, I'm not able to have any.
He had good taste. Too bad they're not on ebay. I guess I'll be missing out.
I wish I could afford a kit or two !!!!
Sorry for the loss, I would love the super hornets
Rest in peace Larry, you sound like an RC Legend!
I bet theres going to be a ton of amazing deals going, will you bid Gavin?
wow what a collection R.I.P young man
There must be £100k+ of kits there :o
What a collection. Larry was more than a collector, he built them and played with them too. Such a pity he died before he could wear them all out.
several hobby shops in one. museum time tamiya, auction dates ?
Oh ya you bet cha
Amazing, Tamiya應該頒獎給他,我也是蒐集狂但是只有兩百多盒
Please spread the word!
last time I checked (I have a built 959) those were selling for $3000+ unbuilt.
Not my style of rc cars but it's a very nice collection
crazy

Yep. I understand buying 2 then building one and storing the other, but what is the point in have 12+ Sand Scorchers sitting in their boxes?
He was going to open a hobby shop
Where did you get that sandrail that's on your desk? I've wanted to find one like that so bad most of my life!!!! So awesome. I'm subbing in hopes that I get a reply

My sincerest condolences to Larry's family. Rest in Peace my friend ~ 58 is way too young in my humble opinion.
gee thanks, now i hv got outbid
And just like that the Vintage RC market just crashed.
Great collection, but looking at the actual auction website, most of whats shown in the video isnt listed.
You might have missed it in the video but with the amount of stuff available it has been split into two auctions over two days. Click on the second day.
@@RCKickschannel apologies yes i did miss that.
Also pay close attention to the listings. Some of the items are not available for shipping.
I have yet to see a kit or lot of kits they aren't willing to ship at your expense.
I did not list shipping on built semi trucks because I'm not confident they will get anywhere without small parts (mirrors, lights, etc) broken off. If someone really wants one of them shipped, then contact me and we will try to figure something out.
I'm looking for the Subaru brat the red body one how much
imagine if just 25% was losi associated kyosho forsale now. $$$$$ instead just tamiya.
There are a few built Losi, Team Associated and some Kyosho on Day one. Also, a few Kyosho kits on Day two. However, Larry LOVED Tamiya!
For anyone that hasn't done an action before, this isn't like Ebay. Look in to the auction and pay attention to things like shipping costs and buyer premium.
Yes, it is a bit different from eBay. Only a 6% buyers premium, and shipping paid for by winning bidders
Click on the second auction. its over two days.
RIP Larry!
Tamyia themselves should be jealous!

How
Did this auction start on the first? If so why now are you telling us? It's already to late for anything. Or am I reading this wrong?😁😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🚚
I don't see any of the NIB kits on the auction site. Were these cherry picked ? Or are they on FeePay ?
Search "sealed" in the Day 2 Auction. Nothing was sold outside of the auction
well shipping cost to germany its huge so i have to bail.if i buy a 20cm.20.20 box i will pay at least 20e for shipping
International shipping is not cheap. All packages are insured and tracked
Rest in peace Larry
So strange to see. What's the point with scuh large amounts? Some collectors have ideas, to some time in the future open a store and sell wht hey have collected. But most horders can never part with what they've got when all comes to all

Just want to say: a LOT of those uncompleted kits are going below retail. I paid $200 for a rough rider when it first came out back in the 70's and it's going for $245 now, that's like 1/10th the retail price I paid.
If anyone is looking to collect, now's the time.
