If it's not already a thing, I feel like this is one of those mods that will really benefit from an extensive config file to adjust and toggle features on and off. Other than that, the visuals are nice and the additions really do make the world dynamic and lively.

Just so you know, be EXTRA sure you want this mod in your pack before getting it. Some of its features can become frustrating after a long time and if you try to remove the mod your world will be riddled with dark holes and some biomes will become pretty much unexplorable, like savannas

Man, that first scene felt like the guy died in his sleep and we see what happens to the house in the 50 years afterwards This mod is beautiful. Exactly the kinda thing I love to add to my long list of purely environmental/ambient mods
All it needs is accumulating snowfall that doesn’t pile up randomly in ugly clumps. Simple statistical snow accumulation always ends up looking bad after a few layers accumulate, so proper snow accumulation needs to take into account the neighbouring snow tile heights. Hope it works with a season mod.
I have found this mod half a year ago, even without trailer or any video about it. When I checked the description, I immediately knew I need this mod in my modpack...
This is by far one of the COOLEST and most thought out realism mod ive ever seen. It doesnt just add difficulty for sake of realism, but does it in a tasteful, and very aesthetic way. Im definitely going to include this is my personal modpack, and if it every gets updated to later versions, its going in those packs as well
1:32 this feature alone makes the mod worth downloading, it is SO annoying accidentally right-clicking a log on your house and having to find a new log to replace it

It reminds me of how in bedrock edition in vanilla, the snow stacks in layes when it snows and it get get pretty deep sometimes. I remember once I built a hideen base on a snow biome and the entrance has an igloo that would sometimes become hard to find because it would get buried by the snow. Eventually the snow layers would disappear automatically it they became tall. I feel like this mod could use some features to automatically reset some of the changes to the world back to make it look consistent. Like if the vines are constantly growing, it would bee cool it they also decayed automatically after a certain time to avoid the entire fores being covered in vines, the dame way the snow desapears so that the layers don't accumulate indefinitely
yeah i really dislike the trend of mc youtubers using the ai voice :( even if they maybe dont like their own voice, id much rather hear a real person. the ai is so soulless

Personally I really really like this mod because of the fact that trees and grass can replant themselves, I like farms but I also like it to have more of a naturalistic feel, if I have a big enough forest near spa and or if I travel around, I could in theory not need to do any replanting. And it just makes sense because that's what happens in real life to a certain extent. It also has a lot of utility for incredibly hardcore Minecraft mods because of its interesting food options, it reminds me of calamari from crop topia, where it gives usefulness to squid when they don't drop anything, and it's a pretty decent food that you can go out well out of your way to get a hold of it especially once you cook it.
It's cool to see you talking about Farmer's delight. I saw that mod recently and it looks really good, and seeing it be comboed with this one by the way you describe its sinergy, it looks even greater!
More than it - Mojang has a guide book that has a rule "New features should not change environment without player interactions." The only exclusion are Endermen and Wither, as they were long before Microsoft takeover.

Wow I was really shocked by the quality of this mod, and as a mod creator myself I recognize the effort you put into creating this mod which could easily be a vanilla Minecraft update!
Probably had to censor them because of UA-cam, when the algorithm see he writes "trans" or "asexual" in his video it might be considered political or mature or whatever. I don't think he had to do it and tbh i'm a little disappointed but I guess he wants to avoid possibly getting flagged and being recommended to less people.
Problem with podzol is that it's actually shows how minerals are being washed out of certain layers of soil, making podzols infertile and poor for agriculture. However mass of decaying grass turns into organic rich mater, wich forms chernozems/brown soils on Central Plains. It is perfect for agriculture however very lrone to erosion.

I REALLY like the idea of different kinds of soil blocks boosting different kinds of crops. This needs to be a future vanilla feature! And the way things can get overgrown is exactly the kinda thing Minecraft needs. I prefer vanilla Minecraft, specifically older version at that but imma have to check this out.

I think dynamic paths could be a great addition. Like grass blocks turning into their path blocks when a player walked over it often enough and maybe regenerating into full grass blocks after a while.
Such a unique mod. Really nice. I would love to play that with Patrix Resource Pack, but the Textures would need to match. Maybe you can ask him if he would be willing to make textures for this mod, would be awesome. Since this mod increases realism, I would love to play it with the most realistic and most complete Resource Pack.
I've always wanted a mod that simulates weathering and regrowth, the last of us is my favorite game so I always think about if nature reclaimed builds in minecraft. Super cool!
Problem is that even with the mod, Minecraft fails to reach that cohesive immersion VintageStory provides. All the realistic systems of Vintage Story work together, while this mod feels incongruous with the base design of Minecraft - the mod isn't bad or anything, I think its quite good - But I can't help but think this would be way cooler as a mod for Vintage Story.

Also as far as I’m aware in China all genders except for the Male and Female are considered to be disorders and thus their part of the media might try to put an age restriction because simply by definition it would be identified as a serious and an adult topic. Also there are a lot of internationally recognised and digitally open Islamic republics, also as someone above mentioned the introduced by Microsoft censorship function. To put it simple this is a very nice compromise for all the above mentioned groups and situations)
