A lot of owners of the clubs Nirvana played in hold onto performances. One owner from San Fransisco held a private showing of a show from 90 before he released it to the public.
Wtf. Back in the days I used to DL any live of nirvana possible and was SURE I heard it all. First time in 15 years I hear new Nirvana stuff. Incredible
@@davidovics92 Yeah, that was recorded as The Jury, and released on that album. Krist also played on it. The other tracks from that session wound up on With the Lights Out, "They Hung Him on a Cross", "Grey Goose" and "Ain't It a Shame".
The legendary song from that legendary show. Wasn't sure this was real, but now I know it is. PS. How about those last three Japanese shows that came on the new live in japan bootleg?
its crazy how he has what most would consider a regular voice but he just put so much grit and passion into it that he sounds better than any other singer probably 🤯

Top 3 performances of this song chronologically: This one, Unplugged, and Paris Interestingly, they correspond to the first, the official (which obviously has the best sound quality) and the last one. It's amazing how this version, even though it's a cover, sounds like any other early version of a Nirvana song. Kurt really reinvented this song! Another great version is the Mark Lanegan one, again with kurt on backing vocals, guitar and krist on bass.
It’s so amazing how these rarities still get found. Godspeed.
and in such a crazy good quality !!
Im the 100th like

God bless the internet
These guys simply made history, and maybe without intention for it, they'll be remembered forever
other grunge bands deserve more recognition
@@greekfromseattle82 lots of grunge bands were huge.
@@greekfromseattle82 I love lots of bands of that era, but if u ask me, Nirvana will be always the band that connected the most with souls and hearts

I love the the second bass note being play there in the beginning I can see a different take of the bass line.
Yeah it sounds really good
it's so fucking awesome to hear a ""1993 song"" played in the live style of bleach era
then listen to Mark Lanegan's version from his 1990 album called "The Winding Sheet". Cobain plays guitar and sings backing vocals on it.

Rock sem frescura como o Kurt sempre gostou, e eu também.

I had no idea they performed this song in 89. Thanks
They also covered "they hung him on a cross" by lead belly during this era
