I'm now preferring new known steel.
Had a bad result using a bearing

I know what you mean.
I once used a leaf spring off a truck and it split down the center. Completely width and length , super weird.
For all of our mid techs we sell and customs we use known steels. We mainly use the unknown for fun.

Couple of Saturdays, I usually work 6-8hrs on Saturdays so I’d say roughly 12hrs including tempering. We made it along side our next video that’s bout to come out.
