I saw them this year as well....absolutely tight and amazing! I also appreciate their past drummers but Chris is simply one of those drummers on another level. He does this band SO MUCH justice. Another drummer I love that goes to that next level (for the genre) is Alex Bent in case you have not heard of him.

Something about watching Chris play doubles truly sparks joy. First noticed that flick open of the fingers watching him live and eventually realized that’s just how they’re played; but his technique is so consistent it looks frozen in time
