    I’m glad I found your channel. I used to be a feminist before becoming Christian. When I read the Bible I realized I had to let go of that ideology.
    I now see the spirit behind it which I didn’t before. It’s so sad how many women getting deceived by it, even Christians! 😕

    The Norwegian translation of the bible is already influenced by feminism. Many places the word brothers, is changed into «søsken» meaning siblings. 1 Timothy 5:8 is also changed in the Norwegian translation from basically saying: a man is to provide for his own household, into saying: a person is to care for(as in having feelings for) their own family. I honestly cant trust the Norwegian translation, and often use an english translation instead.
    Keep making videos! It's a breath of fresh air in modern society!

      Yeah, this has been done by the liberalfascist monarchy in Sweden and Norway, especially Sweden. Finland is a republic and is doing better. Tons of horrible ideologies has its roots from the liberalfascist government in stockholm. In the 1920s they came up with the preposterous nationalsocialist ideologies that fired up Germany into what it became. They even had an institution of "eugenics" in Uppsala at that time. Today they´re doing it again, but instead of abusing the biological constant of race, they try to abuse the biological constant of sex instead. Sweden needs to be reformed from a dysfunctional monarchy into a people republic like normal countries already.

      So you think a translation that says brothers and sisters is wrong? I have read many different translations of the Bible, they are all a little different. I have attended conservative churches that say brothers and sisters when reading the Bible aloud during worship or Bible study.

    • @ReformedWhiteKnight
      @ReformedWhiteKnight 4 роки тому +1

      @@stefaniemedina14 I think she refers to actual translation ... not to a modern interpretation. As soon as we stretch the meaning of words it seems to end in progressivism... Just to avoid going that route it makes more sense to stay close to the original even if it feels a little unfair to some individuals.
      Lastly there are many who will state that conservative churches are actually not conservative any more. As soon as they wave the pride flag for example or agree to same sex marriages they are not conservative anymore in the sense of the word.

    Dear Christie,
    I really really enjoy your videos on Godly Womanhood. I wish so many women especially young women and teenagers could hear your message. You are right on. You having a beautiful incredible humble very accurate description of your topics. The best I've ever heard on the history of feminism. Your Godly view is awesome. Thank you so much for being a strong flame in this Dark World of post-modern and Christian age! We have a children ages for 4 to 19 5 boys and 3 girls. New to you so that is why I am watching an older video. You are so refreshing. I have 2 sons. They are 30 and 33. Finding a non feminist wife is not easy. They are both still single but would love to find a wife that is not a feminist. They have prayed (as have my husband and I) and so far nothing. Church doesn't even seem to offer a lot of non feminist. At this age, the choices are getting smaller. They are feeling as if God is saying no to wives for them.

    Amen! Its a crazy world we live in. Thank you for being a woman of God and speaking Truth. I was talking to a lady friend the other day that I thought was strong in her faith until she mentioned she believed in mutual submission.....when I told her that yeah husband and wife might agree most of the time but the husband is the head and has the final decision she almost flipped. Its not my way its God's way. I thought this was black and white and was kinda disappointed when she said she doesn't believe in roles in marriage....wow. If you have an issue with submitting to your husband you have a probably with submitting to God. You don't have to like God's word but it is truth and God's way is always best for us even when we can't see it.
    Thank you and thank your husband for leading you God bless.

    Thank you for what you do, you have been an encouragement when i needed questions answered about what is wrong with our relationships and our society. I have been studying many social and cultural things since your old channel thanks to you.
    Feminism is rebellion not only against wholesome womanhood but against proper masculinity and traditional families. Altering the Bible to suit Feminist ideology stinks of the most amazing form of cognitive dissonance if not outright theological dishonesty to believe that Feminist rebellion can coincide with Biblical Theology at all.
    Anyone who has read the Bible knows God brings curse on any who alter His Word. The Bible states that rebellion is just as bad a sin as witchcraft. Shocking that Feminists want to 'correct' the Bible based on their feelings/dogma.
    The roles of Men and of Women are written out and hopefully will be wider taught someday soon. Feminism is being rejected because it ruins everything it touches. But our culture has quite a ways to go to return to our Christian roots here in America.

    Hi Christy, they have since removed the messaging feature from UA-cam - but I just wanted to say it's great to see you back! I only just found your (other) new channel today. I feel like I may have sent you a message many years ago explaining the below story, but it's no doubt been well and truly lost in the ether by now.
    I just wanted to let you know I was somewhat responsible for keeping the flame alive and re-igniting the interest in your old series way back, with a video I uploaded in June 2014 called 'Brave New Utopia - Fate Slap'. I had saved all (or most) of your old series pre-2010 onto my computer, besides just the feminism videos, and always thought they were brilliant - and very informative to people not familiar with this stuff; from a social and more importantly, spiritual and philosophical angle. You touch on the mysteries and esoterics in various ways in your videos, I always noticed.
    I started putting together some funny project video compilations of social critics, stand up comedy and your old videos - and thought hey people might like these in UA-cam world. 'Fate Slap' reached 1800 views and around 30 comments very quickly, before getting pulled for copyright, (because I put these ridiculous scripted clips from some big SJW/LGBT channel where they made kids answer questions about homosexual marriage) and it got a strike put against it and my whole video pulled. I re-uploaded the video later, with said portion removed. I think you should check it out, it's been guaranteed to get a laugh! [Edit: Apparently recently, the original video upload has been de-flagged for copyright and is available again - I didn't even realize!).
    Thankfully though, the word was out already. Out of those 1700 people who watched it, so many kept asking me who the beautiful blonde Christian woman in the video was! A channel by the name of 'TheScariestMovieEver' saw my video, and proceeded to upload your full feminist series in a 2 hour clip called 'In Defense Of Men, What's Left of Them!' (which now has 50000+ views). You'll note he credits me in the video info in the comment section. That one was then also posted by Phaeton230780, which has 669000+ views (you mentioned this on your other channel I saw).
    Since then it spread even more, was picked up by bigger and more 'mainstream' UA-cam channels, and the rise of anti-feminism really exploded in the coming years as the message spread again to a new audience.
    I never made my channel to promote it, or advertise or make money off it. As my channel description states, I only ever started making videos in the small hope of waking SOME people up and helping to open their eyes. And it worked. I know this comment is long, but I just wanted to seriously thank you (now that I can all these years later!?) for helping me on my journey of discovery and knowledge a decade ago.
    Don't interpret this wrong, I'm not trying to sound arrogant or boastful - I just wanted to fill you in on this little slice of UA-cam history I was responsible for, as you are finally back and I can tell you this directly. I have no qualms on the way that happened, I always provided credit and sources in my little videos - but the way some of the larger channels shamelessly take things to monetize their videos with 'spooky' music or whatever, was frustrating to see happen again and again.
    Sorry again for the novel, I just needed to get this off my chest as I was really happy to see you back on UA-cam. God bless you and your family. Peace out - Steve, from Australia :)

      To be honest, I do not mind if anyone else makes money off of my content; I’m not here to make money myself, so if it helps out someone else, then great.
      But I also really appreciate you respecting rights/privacy and having integrity in that way.
      I’ll have to watch the video you mentioned. Thank you for the warm welcome back, the encouraging words, and taking the time to share your story. God bless!

      I really do think that most people won’t change until they have negative experiences which show them the error of their thinking... which is sad, because it’s unnecessary. The Bible has a lot to say about listening to instruction and acquiring wisdom and thereby avoiding misery!

    Thanks for a courageous video. The term "Bible-believing Christian" is redundant. A person who does not believe that the Scriptures are inspired (meaning the very words), is by definition not a Christian. Anyone who doesn't believe the Bible is by definition not a Christian. The feminist "problem" is not really with the Bible, it is with God, who inspired the Bible. These feminists are following a different god. Modern Bibles are profit-making corporate projects; they are constantly changing and cannot be trusted. They are shaped by modern culture, which is where "gender-neutral" feminist English came from in the first place. The generic masculine in Greek is "anthropos"; the generic masculine in Hebrew is "adam"; the generic masculine in English is "man". Jesus Christ himself used the generic masculine dozens of times, as when he referred to himself as "the Son of man", not the "Son of people" or "the Child of humanity". Which popular versions are feminist? Answer: the NIV (2011 or later), the NASB (2020 or later), the New Living Translation, the New Century Version, the Message, the New Revised Standard Version, the Revised English Bible, God's Word translation, the NET Bible, and the Christian Standard Bible. All these versions are "gender-neutral" i.e. feminist. some to a greater degree than others (and this is not the only fault that they have). This situation about feminism and feminist "bibles" says a lot about the quality of Christian "leaders" in today's church. None of these feminist versions would exist if Christians didn't buy them.

  • @thomasjefferson6
    @thomasjefferson6 5 років тому +1

    Most Bible versions used by Christians today use gender-neutral (i.e. feminist) language. These include: the New Living Translation, the New International Version (2011 and later), the New Century Version, the New Revised Standard Version, the Message, God's Word Translation, the Contemporary English Version, the Revised English Bible, the Christian Standard Bible (2017), and, as of 2020, the New American Standard Bible. Other versions, such as the English Standard Version (originally created in 2001 to be non-feminist) claim in their footnotes that feminist-preferred phrases, such as "brothers and sisters" are legitimate translations when they are not. All these versions, in accord with feminist teaching, oppose the use of the generic masculine, even though the generic masculine is found in the inspired Hebrew and Greek, and even though the generic masculine has been used in English for over 1000 years. People justify using these feminist versions on the grounds that they are "easier to understand" or that "they speak to me personally" or that they are more effective in winning souls to Christ, or for other equally humanistic and irrelevant reasons. They are all feminist "Bibles", although they vary in how thoroughly feminist they are.

    • @thomasjefferson6
      @thomasjefferson6 5 років тому +1

      To Nicole Little- very understandable, and very wise, especially since they are supposedly "too difficult to understand" for today's generation, which, if true, makes this either the laziest or the stupidest generation, ever.

    • @thomasjefferson6
      @thomasjefferson6 5 років тому

      To Nicole Little- verses are taken out of modern versions because the scholars that use them rely on the revised Westcott-Hort Greek text that is based largely on 2 manuscripts from Egypt- Codex B and Codex Vaticanus. Modern scholars believe that: 1) the older manuscript is better than the later manuscript, 2) the harder reading is better than the easier reading (e.g. Mark 1:41 in the 2011 NIV) and 3) the shorter reading is better than the longer reading. These are the axioms of modern biblical text criticism which are reflected in the modern versions (even though in other ways they don't agree with one another).

      Dan Groff I’m assuming you’re referring to headcoverings? Yes, we have studied that passage and prayed about it, and I do cover in the church service. :)
      I realize some women cover full-time based on the fact that the command is to cover “while praying or prophesying” and we are to “pray without ceasing”... I have no problem with that; it’s up to personal conviction. But the passage on covering *is* given in the context of commands give to the gathering of believers for during worship services/how to conduct them.
      So that’s where we (my husband and I) personally stand. 😊

    • @MakeWomahoodBiblicalAgain
      @MakeWomahoodBiblicalAgain  6 років тому +1

      leatherandlace7 That’s how I started out, too! (Sometimes when I pray.) :) I always assumed it was a cultural command- or, just a church ordinance, not a Biblical command- because hardly any Western women do it. (Flawed reasoning there on my part, I realize...) This is before I’d looked into it on my own.
      Then one time when I was praying I “felt like” (I know... so concrete, haha) I should put my scarf, which was around my neck, over my head. But I believe that was the Holy Spirit- because that led to studying what Scripture had to say about it and I was AMAZED at what I found. I didn’t want to wear one because I HATE “sticking out” in public, but was convicted as I looked into it.
      It’s certainly not tied to our salvation, but definitely something I think we should each ask the Lord about and honestly look into, and then do however we’re convicted. :)
      I’ll link some research here that another woman did on this for you to explore, if you’d like! I don’t agree with her on every single *personal* opinion in the write-up, but her study of the Biblical passage and of church history is really *spot-on*.

    • @MakeWomahoodBiblicalAgain
      @MakeWomahoodBiblicalAgain  5 років тому +1

      Yes, a woman needs to be covered if she is going to pray or prophesy in church. We are to pray "without ceasing," not "continually"-- without ceasing means we should not ever see an end to our prayers, not that literally every second of every day should be full of prayer.
      That aside-- the context of the passage instructing women to cover is within the context of a passage full of instructions on how to conduct the regular assembly of believers. So, my husband and I are convicted that I am to cover at church, but I do not cover all the time. Some believers do, and that's ok-- we all have to do as we're convicted. :)

    Ive never met such a scientific pure christian, you see i am not the type of person to be satiated by just reading the bible and knowing it by heart, most of the bible has been skewed from hand copying and translating up so many times. That is a fact, as such i read more than one version, i also read various other religious texts i intend to read the quran to see how much underlying purity i can draw from it because under that dirt of the humans skewing it i would bet that it was another time god put his hand on the earth but the difference was that people interpreted and skewed it *_much_* more. Some other things i have evidence on, wifi and microwave interact and a small amount of orgonite DRASTICALLY blocks them from interacting, i feel the aura's of certain rocks although i cannot currently prove what causes this, its now a fact that quantum physics can be directly influenced by conciousness from any distance. I think most religions are telling the Same story actually.

    I found your channel through one of Alana L's videos. I am a little confused as to why you hate feminists so much. I identify as a feminist. The first feminists fought to give women the right to vote, the right to an education, the right to own property, have a bank account in their own name, etc. I understand not agreeing with third wave feminism (GLBTQ, abortion, etc). I often tell Christians I meet that I identify as a feminist because feminism made it possible for women to choose her own path. Women don't have to get married just for survival anymore. Women can pursue advanced degrees. Women can choose to have a career or stay at home. I CHOSE to stay home with my children, it wasn't something forced on me like it was on my grandmothers. Obviously you are free to believe what you want and I wish you success with your YT channel.

      Stefanie Medina Hi, Stefanie. :)
      It’s highly inaccurate to say that I hate feminists. I love feminists deeply, which is why my heart is to see them freed from the ideology they espouse.
      FeminiISM, on the other hand, I hate as much as I hate every other agenda Satan has come up with and used to destroy God’s designs.
      Even if it was socially uncommon, women were not barred from careers outside of the home prior to feminism, as evidenced by many women who broke the mold. The notion that feminism gave women the right to vote and to do as they wished is false, but I realize this is a common misconception. I’ve studied the history of feminism for over ten years, and invite you to browse my content on it on my other channel, called Christy0Misty.
      Afterwards I’d love to answer any questions you may have! :) Peace.

    God did not give a command that women ask their husbands about theological issues; MEN like Paul wrote that to control women's thinking. I would love to read and be encouraged in spiritual growth through a feminist Bible; the new testament is an example of improved and more humane scripture that emphasizes love, redemption, and care, ... very feminist ideals.
    God inspires both men and women Christy. Stop devaluing your gender just to keep men in their place az the family slave, a man who believes that he is the leader when women know he's not. I listen to you, a woman, because I think God can inspire you to speak truth. I guarantee you that one day you will believe very differently, where both men and women are portrayed as equal in both God and humanity's eyes.
    I'm still praying for you zo you can sound more like Christ, as when he told Mary Magdalen, a former prostitute, to spread the gospel to others for Him. Christ valued and trusted women, why can't you Christy?

      Chris Chaves If you do not believe that the books of the Bible written by Paul are the inspired word of God, we can’t really go any further on that point. That is the starting premise: the authority of Scripture. If Paul’s writings are not from God then, yes, your opinion is as valid as anyone else’s.
      I will challenge your condescension, pity, and patronizing with this thought: my value is not contingent upon me being permitted to lead or teach.
      That is where you are off. You think that because I believe we women are not to be preachers (for example) then I don’t value women, which actually betrays the fact that you don’t see women as holding value unless they teach, preach, hold authority, act as head of the home, etc.
      In reality, I am the one here who values women for who they are rather than merely for what positions they do or do not hold. I value the woman who serves, supports, raises children, or works behind the scene as much as I do any preacher or teacher- as does God.
      Finally: do not strawman me or misconstrue what I (or the Apostle Paul) have said. Of course I can speak truth- that does not mean I have to speak it from the pulpit. Women are absolutely permitted (commanded, in fact) to share the Gospel. We are to teach our children, and we are commanded to teach other women. The only people we are not to exercise authority over in church are men.
      This structure of authority has nothing to do with a person’s worth or value, but with their role- like any person holding any position in any business. Equality does not mean sameness. The manager is no less of a person than the CEO just because he takes orders.
      Headship and submission are genius elements of the authority structure God has put in place within marriage, the family, the Church, and nation.
      I will pray that the eyes of your heart will be opened so that you can see this beautiful truth.
      (PS: As for feminist ideals, you seem to hold some misconceptions as to the roots, history, nature, and goals of feminism. I have content on my other channel, Christy0Misty, which addresses the topic.)

    How can you believe the Bible is 100% accurate? I know Christians who admire Jesus and worship God but they know the Bible was written by people, prone to human error.
