Boy brought me back in time when my Parents purchased there 75 caprice new....It was the first car I drove solo on the road after I got my Drivers license! Definitely was a Smooth Riding Boat!😊👍
OMG, what a beauty. Please sell it to me. I will love it and pamper it all the days of my life. Here in Southern California. BTW, finally someone who knows how to video a car. Thank you.
WHAT A BEAUTY !! I HAD A 1976 , TRIPLE MAROON 4 DR. HARDTOP, WITH JUST ABOUT EVERY OPTION OFFERED IN '76, INCLUDING THE 50/50 SPLIT SEATS, I BOUGHT USED IN 1983, TRADING IN MY 1975 MONTE CARLO, THE PRICE FOR THE CAPRICE WAS $2995.00 , BUT TRADE IN ALLOWANCE DROPPED MY COST TO $1995.00, WITH 62.000 MILES ON THE CLOCK, OF THE 6 CARS IVE OWNED IN MY LIFE, THAT WAS MY BEST AND FAVEORITE CAR, EVEN SURPASSING 3 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD BROUGHAM'S. I DROVE AFTER THE CAPRICE.
I have a 1976 Caprice Classic Landau coupe. My Mom bought it new. 400 with original 4 bbl. White with black interior . There were only 1500 made with the Z03, Landau option. It is almost as nice as this one.
My dad had a 76 caprcie classic hard top almost the same coler of blue it was a great car 350 whith 2 bbl had a lot of power this one is buetyfull condtion
1976 was the last year for the sumo sized Chevy. I see this is an Ontario Canada built car. A friend I know who is a Chevrolet mechanic has one which he bought in Lloydminster, Alberta. This car had the shelf mounted rear defogger. His has the electric rear defogger IE the lines on the back windows. His car is white with a red top and interior.
This loaded Caprice is kind of unusual. Most of these were hardtops with the colonnade rear quarter windows. Usually the pillared sedans were lowly Impalas.
I never realized this car had door frame glass rather than frameless like the Cadillac DeVille. Now I am wondering if the Buick and Olds equivalents had frameless door glass.
I don't see the front part ! O Was 18 years ,when thid bestiful car Was new ! Look like a new car ! My model prefer ! Georgus car ! Regards from Querétaro México 👍🇲🇽👏✌️👍👏🙏
My grandparents were Chevy folks. I remember as a kid their 68 Chevelle/Malibu, 78 Impala, 85 Caprice Classic, the they're last car was a 1996 Caprice Classic. The 1996 was the best riding to me.
Mid to late '70s... the ICU era of GM, culminating in a flatline with the x-bodies of 1980. Often, when we detail one of these things, something would fall off or come apart. That thing there must've been kept in a vacuum or something, otherwise it would've biodegraded by now.
ALSO, WITH ALL THE OPTIONS THAT WERE ORDERED ON THIS BEAUTY, I WONDER WHY ORIGINAL BUYER DID'NT ORDER THE 6-WAY POWER SEAT ? A MUST IN MY OPINION, FEELS LIKE YOUR RIDING ON THE FLOOR, WITHOUT IT , LOL.
Too bad not a walkaround shot of the car all closed back up. Anyway, beautiful car. Not the best made, but good looking. You can tell right away how well the car was cared for my the lack of the two deep cracks in the center of nearly every dash (aka gm's "mark of excellence")
wasn’t able to see the instrument panel controls and switches or rear defogger bezel - presumably on the package shelf - the videography was very erratic - 454 cu inch engine? incorrect whitewalls
Is this car silver or light blue? My car is light blue looks identical to this one under the hood is not as nice because of the moisture in my garage. Car has less than 3,000 mi in the fuel tank was rotted through I had to buy a new fuel tank for it. They took gasoline off the market for a while had only ethanol gas that sat in that tank and destroyed it when the new tank gets installed now they sell non-ethyl gasoline and that's all it will ever go in that car in the future. I'm going to start driving mine soon and put that 30,000 miles on it I was told will not depreciate the car. But with only 3,000 Mi do you think I could trade it for a half million dollar house?
I'm retired, living in central alberta. I just had a tingly feeling I haven't felt since puberty. love the old boats. thx.
This is a beautiful Chevrolet Caprice from 1976. It almost looks showroom new. Wow. Who'd want more in a car ?
Who would want more in a car? I guess everyone who bought Pontiacs, Buicks, Oldsmobiles, and Cadillacs!
How about a secondary color jfc that's a lot of blue
The frames had more twist than a 69 might have though.
I second that
i agree, and its the last year for the big one before they shortened them in '77
Cleanest one I’ve ever seen! Super nice and well-equipped car!
I see plastic plugs that aren't OEM. This has had an aftermarket rust treatment (Ziebart, etc.)

Beautiful car, and beautiful color both inside and out! Plenty of room for a tall (6'3") guy like me, even in the back seat. Thanks for sharing!

You can't do better than this! Truly a genuine Chevrolet.

Impeccably kept car from bumper to bumper that's a joy to behold. However.....while blue is my favorite color, that interior is A WHOLE LOTTA' BLUE!!!
Best looking car of the 71-76 era!
My dad had a 73. This reminded me of that
I absolutely love the interior! It’s the perfect shade of blue!
That Baby Blue is sooooo sweet. What a car. Thanks for sharing this honey!!
I have a 1976 Caprice Classic Landau coupe. My Mom bought it new. 400 with original 4 bbl. White with black interior . There were only 1500 made with the Z03, Landau option. It is almost as nice as this one.
Boy o boy, where did you find such an amazing time capsule in showroom condition ! Take special care of it, and enjoy it for many years to come

I can’t get over how many cars from my youth are online that look new. It’s like they got hermetically sealed.
This was such a comfortable and smooth riding car.
The vapor lighting and apocalyptic soundtrack really work here.
Beautiful, last year for the big one. i owned a '74 and '79 caprice classic, beautiful riding cars like floating on air.
Can't believe it's in this great shape, like it just rolled out the factory.
The sound is off the chain! Very nice!
سياره قويه وجميله ونوع فخم كلاسيك وتعيش معك إلى ما شاء الله لو ماهي قويه كان مالقيتها للآن وشكرا لك
76 was a good year
Wow almost like it was built yesterday ;)
That's Him Right There. 1976
We have a 1976 Impala that we wouldn't exchange for anything!
Wow. Has this thing been sitting in a museum all these years?
This loaded Caprice is kind of unusual. Most of these were hardtops with the colonnade rear quarter windows. Usually the pillared sedans were lowly Impalas.
Factory wire wheel covers...rather rare option for that model year.
I love full size cars of any brand, this is beautiful!
I've owned a few of these over the years. That was when Chevy built a great car.
looks like 23,000 miles. Great value depending on price which is not listed.
Very nice car!
Oh my lord these GM cars 1976 and some 70s/80s last of full size GM built on. Full chassis rearwheel drive 🚗 V8s are awesome 👌
Last of fullsize GM big car 1996 built on full frame chassis with rear wheel drive 🚗 V8s great looking built GM Cars .
This is a pillared sedan, but there was also a hardtop available in 1976. What’s the model name when it’s a hardtop?
Sport Sedan
@@ericp6961 Caprice Classic Sport Sedan. Thank you!
I bought virtually the same car on October 31st, 1989 for $400!
I never realized this car had door frame glass rather than frameless like the Cadillac DeVille. Now I am wondering if the Buick and Olds equivalents had frameless door glass.
It was available in both sedan and hardtop versions
@@LlyleHunter So which is which? Frameless Glass is Sedan or hardtop?
Clean classic
Me encanta ese carro
Nice. Car. New. 🙏👍
It's sick Clean as Hell
Clean everything nice
those seats 😍
is it for sale?
i am ready to buy please confirm if yes....
I’m the new owner
Is it with automatic gear box ???
Great 👍
Look at how deep the rear seat cushion is. The rear seat cushion on the 77 is very skimpy in comparison.
Wow!
No exterior shots of the body with doors, hood, and trunk closed? I feel cheated.
He didn't show the headlights/grill at all. I don't think he showed the taillights, either.
@@catsaregovernmentspies He's got the rest here:ua-cam.com/video/Ku-DeuxkO3c/v-deo.html

my kind of car . Excellent! has the girlfriend front bench seat
This is new, how did he get that?
ALSO, WITH ALL THE OPTIONS THAT WERE ORDERED ON THIS BEAUTY, I WONDER WHY ORIGINAL BUYER DID'NT ORDER THE 6-WAY POWER SEAT ? A MUST IN MY OPINION, FEELS LIKE YOUR RIDING ON THE FLOOR, WITHOUT IT , LOL.

The car is stunning, but not showing the front and rear end (headlights and taillights), the video is incomplete.
Too bad not a walkaround shot of the car all closed back up.
Anyway, beautiful car. Not the best made, but good looking. You can tell right away how well the car was cared for my the lack of the two deep cracks in the center of nearly every dash (aka gm's "mark of excellence")
Preferred the Impala myself, but still a really nice car.
The 350 2bbl was a total dog in a boat like this.
350 or 400?
Is this car for sale
You did not show the front and back ends!

Body by Fisher
This car has clearly been kept sealed in an airtight garage for 46 years.
If everyone would have taken care of their cars like this owner is showing us, the car industry would have collapsed, sunk, a long time ago…🙄😉
Is it For Sale...???
Sold!!!!
❤️😵

Unfortunately they don't make cars this comfortable anymore. I HATE bucket seats.
my 76 had plaid interior LOL
Horrible Video! You didn’t show the Front or the Rear of the Car!
My only criticism is you didn’t give us any exterior shots other than your approach.
Too bad, the video was great til you cut it off.👎
I live in Australia Brisbane City please someone help me where can I buy a good condition Cadillac in Australia
