This is by far the best time capsule of a Caprice sedan of this era I have ever seen. Brings back memories from my past. Thanks for sharing it with us.
What a wonderful and very beautiful car from the time of the mid-seventies, the golden period, its appearance makes you happy and very joyful.. when the world was very happy👆😊.. we lost these wonderful cars in our time with their amazing colors and designs.. Today's cars look make you feel lonely and depressing😑.. Thank you to share the video
When I was growing up as a kid in the 70’s you could throw a rock in any direction and would likely hit one of these - now I can’t even remember the last time I saw one out on the road! Definitely a grand old girl…….👍
My mom had a ‘75 Caprice hardtop in chocolate brown. Love this color combo just really prefer the hardtop. The overall body style was really great looking.
Jm used the same blue vinyl top on more than one of their cars; I had 76 olds same vinal top and color even saw a silver 76 olds with that same blue colored vinal top.
Yep, I had one in baby-blue (not quite the same blue as seen in this video), lovingly called "The Blue Bomb". By the time I purchased her from elderly folks down my street, circa 1981, she was almost six years old, and most of the lower half was already rusted through due to Chicago winters/salt. Aside from that, she was a smooth running, quiet car; I got 14 mpg. Unfortunately, she didn't last long: 'The Bomb' (age 6) died ignominiously - taken too soon by overheating and locking up due to a stuck thermostat. She was sadly interred at the tranquil, scenic grounds of Victory Autowreckers in Bensenville, Il. (Ironically, I later learned she was crushed and sent to japan as scrap metal for their budding car industry, and probably was reincarnated as a 1982 Honda). Visitation and funeral are restricted to close family or by invitation. In liu of flowers, please send any donations to The American Society of Automotive Engineers. Let's pray they can design better thermostats and rust proofing . RIP 😞
My Dad gave me one of these in 1987 and I had it for most of college. The back seat was amazing!

Brings back memories for me. My family had a couple of these. I remember they rode very nice and were comfortable cars

Something about those models from 76 till 88 warms my heart!
Very lovely Caprice. I owned several 80 series Caprice
OK, I found it. Your exterior walk around with doors, hood, and trunk closed. Thanks! She's a beauty!
Stunning Example. Love these GM classics.

This was the cleanest looking model among all the divisions at GM. The covertibles were awesome too
There were no 76 model Caprice convertibles - 75 was last year.
Beautiful Caprice!!! Hope there is video telling mileage and showing interior.

gorgeous car!👍
I owned a 1976 caprice the hardest 4-door done hands down.
I watched this bid live on Mecum. Sold for almost $30k.. Crazy. I think this is the highest ever payed amount for a 1976 Chevy Caprice 4dr ever!
