How a landlord/management company rents out a giant property and doesn’t have a landscaping company come out minimum twice a month is mind boggling to me. A renter doesn’t own a riding mower! Great job Brian-you definitely came to the rescue on another corner lot! ❤
I had the reverse happen to me as a renter. I signed the contract and the landlord promised to clean the overgrown yard and poison ivy, but when we moved in, it hadn't been done. The landlord refused, and I couldn't leave the mess or the poison ivy for my kids to get into. It cost me over $400 to get it done, and the landlord wouldn't compensate me in any way. The company let me pay it out in 4 months with no late fees, so I was at least okay with my credit. Thank you for helping out, and thanks for saving the employee from backbreaking work and getting poison ivy. You do amazing work!
Be sure to wash your tools off good that touched the poison ivy. The trimmer head will have oils on it too when you change strings. The oils from it can linger on the tools and still infect you if you forget and touch it later. Great job cleaning that place up. Made a world of difference to the yard and to that poor lady who was going to try to clean it up with the tools she had.
City Governments no longer do so many things they used to do! We've lost the "fight" America used to have. More people pay taxes and less things get done. Again, We've lost the American way.. Alas...

Brian, you are right realty is not always easy especially for the good realtors. They come in after people move out and clean up the mess and not only pay some one to fix it back up but have to supply the materials which could run anywhere to thousand of dollars. So thank you for helping them out.
Thanks for helping improve the area! I hope everyone keeps it looking great.I am also starting to do this meaningful cleaning, however our tools are still rudimentary. Hopefully there will be a unit that will help us with more modern cleaning tools so that we can contribute to bringing a green living environment to everyone!
It's done and well done! Thank-you for helping out others that don't have the knowledge to do what you do best! Now maybe they can get the inside to look as good as the outside and give someone a home to rent. God blesses those that have blessed others.
I can't believe they expected that woman to do all that by herself with such minimal tools! I'm so glad you had a helper, too. What a job. I hope you managed to avoid getting poison ivy.
Hey brother, if you don't mind, I'd like to make a suggestion that should help you- when you have all the long grass and weeds along everywhere you are going to edge, take the trimmer and clear a swath everywhere you will run the edger. It makes cutting the edge a lot easier without all the long stuff in the way or getting wrapped on the edger head. Love what you do and your work ethic. God bless you and your helper(s).
I use to do yards like this, ( but was never smart enough to record it lol) and after a quick walk of the yard I would run the mower or weed eater along the edge lines first. We got about $35-$75 for a yard like this. When I was young, I was taught mow, edge weed eat as the weed eater would get what the mower and edger missed.

That’s definitely true but like I said, I have family in the rental property business and it’s honestly not as easy as most people seem to think! Besides, hopefully they can put that money to good use on another lawn that could use some care!

Doesn’t look like property management was paying much attention. This is a build up a lot of time.
