You're really kind to describe the lack of lawn care as "weeks". But we can see that the neglect time is really more like years. You did a knock out job!!!
It doesn't matter what profession you are in, some people just do not care what their houses and yards look like. What a shame. You're a good man, Brian, for doing this.
Lots of grass, lots of rubbish! Why don’t people just take their detritus to the rubbish tip instead of garnering it? Marks the place look trashy. Sheriff or poor man, it’s up to every individual to keep their ppty tidy. You have done an amazing job, front came up looking lovely, backyard was a nightmare. Good on you for persevering, thank you, God Bless from Australia 🇦🇺🙏❤️🤗
The cars in the driveway are worth more than his house, and then to say he's a sheriff and can't afford a lawn service is a disgrace. City council should look into this and find out what's going on ..
I will be 66 next month and I live with my 41 year old son and 20 year old grand son. We have a full acre of land, lots of flowering trees and lots of bushes. We get a lot of rain and everything is overgrown now because of my son and grandson’s work schedule. I have had to ask my neighbor’s grandson to assist me in getting my yard and grass cut. You did a wonderful job in assisting this officer and his family with their yard. Thank you for making a difference in someone else’s life.
Right. Sometimes it's a slow decline over the years and then finally a straw that breaks the camels back, like not being able to even go to work. Nice that he got some help. Hopefully he's on the mend now.
Did you say the Sheriff was sick for weeks or years ?? Lots of hard work in the heat. I know for sure it will look fantastic., after all , you are “TOP NOTCH” !!!

I mean does anyone else there have arms & legs. I'm 69 yrs old been cutting grass for 61 years & I still love it as much as when I was a kid. I use my arms & hands TO PULL WEEDS & HEDGE CUTTER TO CUT STUFF❤
I have to keep my mouth shut and my opinion to myself on all these lawn mower videos. I usually have nothing nice to say about most homeowners excuses.
Before we all jump to conclusions and judge this Sheriff for "years of neglect of his yard" please remember that we don't know what he's been going through in his life. Death of a loved one, illness, mental heath issues can be some of the reasons people let go of everything else so they can focus on themselves. Please be kind, a lot of people are struggling these days and we have no idea why it got to the way it is but luckily there are many people like this man willing to help someone fix that. (without any judgement) Thanks for helping this man out!

@@mzznewyork5406 What they are saying is, there are more important things that might be going on in his life, than dealing with a yard. I've been there. My husband had major surgery in the middle of summer a few years back. I wasn't able to go outside and deal with the yard except for mowing it maybe once a month. I am still trying to dig my Irises out of the over growth of grass that invaded their bed, and it's taken three years to get my climbing rose to behave itself. Sometimes, things get put on the back burner, because there are more important things to deal with. He did say that the Deputy had been ill for several weeks, and depending upon the area he lives, its amazing how some things can grow out of control in a short period of time. If he's been off even four weeks, and it rained, and by judging by the moisture in that grass it has been raining, grass and weeds can grow like crazy in a short time. We cut our lawn, and it rained 4 inches in two weeks. The grass grew nearly six inches before it was dry enough to cut again.
Not sure where he lives but that might be only few weeks without cutting in Alabama been so much rain I've been having to cut two 2⃣ to 3⃣ times a month every 2⃣ weeks and trim and edge in between most of my yard is in back but you get my point after seeing back yard that's a little bit more than not cutting few weeks to month
The sheriff was always more concerned about the people being safe than his house. That’s a wonderful sheriff. I’m so sorry he is ill. Hope he gets better soon
Sorry, but there are no excuses for this yard, none. Sick? For how many years? Not able to do the lawn? There are plenty of lawn companies out there. Of course, they may not haul off the absolute trash. There was a young man that was going to move “ their” cars. He looked healthy enough to at least haul off mattresses, etc. Thanks to “ Top Notch” for the free clean- up. That would not have been cheap as long as it had been let go. Bless you, Brian for doing such a thankless job. At least, it does help the entire neighborhood.
Agree, this didn’t get this way in a few weeks. Law enforcement officer should know better. Supposed to be an example. Codes violation for sure. Hire someone to clean up if can’t or are unwilling to take care of your home!! This kinda crap isn’t fair to the surrounding neighbors.

Sharon, I agree, Brian is a Good Samaritan and doing very well on the weight loss program. I was going to ask if you’re still doing the MMA, Brian. Great job. Thank you! 💪🏼🙏🏼
Glad you could help and it looks Fantastic! I liked when they moved the cars, that doesn’t happen too often. The grass was sure thick and a few times I thought you would be stuck but you made it. Awesome job

Firemen, nurses, doctors, lawmen, etc. The statistics have been appearing that a person with a yard in disarray or the interior backlogged are somehow in overwhelm. They are no different. You are definitely repairing "stuck" cycles as you go. A good find in recovering the back patio. You were where you needed to be. Brian what a great job (as usual of course!) Great idea using tarps to move the clippings to your truck but be careful not to make them too heavy and put a strain on your body! And don't fret about the pile of branches--let the homeowner hire someone with a wood chipper to take care of that. You certainly went above and beyond already! Be safe!
Did you notice the able bodied spoiled son that came out to say he’d move the cars? This sheriff is a slob and this was years worth of overgrowth combined with a dirty mattress and old cupboards out back. The sheriff is s slob!
Great job Brian! I had to laugh because another yard guy I watch uses his feet to move clippings!!! You are the only two I have seen do that. I bet the sheriff was blessed by all that you did, especially after being sick a few weeks. Good job removing clippings. Just an overall great job. ❤❤

@@NancyJo-dr6mj. He could be under major stress or even have long covid or simalar, we just don’t know. He may be embarrassed to ask for help from his work mates….he has help now, he might wish he wasn’t even on here now.
@@KarenBrooks-l4r so true! Thanks for reminding me to be kind and show a little empathy. 💕🤗
Yes but most places fine you for tall grass. So the months of over growth he could have paid for lawn care or asked for help. Looks bad on the department seeing that vehicle to that yard.
The dept overlooked it No fines …….you would think a few of the newbies would volunteer….
Outstanding job!! Doing the backyard was above and beyond!👏👏👏👏
You are so kind to help these folks and allow them to go forward. 😮😅😊
HUMONGOUS DIFFERENCE! Wow...seriously improved their day...lol Thanks for helping an officer. Back the Blue ❤😊
Tiene para pagar es un desastre esto no es de un día vamos
God Bless you. It is horrible being sick but worse when you can not accomplish the smallest of jobs. I have been there and done that. Thank God for people like you who have a bunch of empathy.
Thanks for the hard work and kindness Brian. Glad you could help this person. You have lightened the load they are carrying. Hope things get better for them.
Thank you for helping the Sheriff's situation.
As Judge Smails would say, excellent job, top notch, top notch!!
The house inside probably looks as bad as the outside. Broken out windows dirty decaying mattresses 🤮looks as if the house was neglected for yrs.not weeks. Way to help out Top Notch 🇺🇸👍🏼
Wow!! That was a huge job !! Nicely Done!!! It looks fantastic..
Thank you for your service to the community… ❤
Thanks so much 👋👋😊
Could be that his job uses up all of his time and energy.
What a difference! Bless you for helping so many people. ❤
Thank you for helping out the Sherrif. He obviously needed some help.
LE put their lives on the line every day to protect us citizens and I am thankful for them.
You did a great job and I as a viewer recognize that you totally help people from your heart.
Thank you.
👍🏻♥️
I was wondering why the thin blue line did NOT offer to help their fellow blue liner knowing he was ill?
@@bbrut3332How do we know they didn’t offer help?
You don't judge any of these people. If you did, you would not nor could not do what you do with such care. You just see a need and you do the work, God bless you, Brian.
So happy your helping out our overworked officers.
Overworked? Maybe where you are, not everywhere and certainly not where I live! His sheriff buddies should have helped him. That was way more then a few weeks of growth. I think we have a lazy sheriff and maybe a lazy sheriff's wife! Women can push lawnmowers.
They definitely Are over worked and not appreciated by to many! Very sad
@@pamkammann1176 Where are you getting this overworked? You mean all the overtime they accept for time and a half or double time pay? Sorry, there are no over worked police where I live! If they don't like their career choice because they feel over worked, they should change careers! I absolutely respect the police and what they do to protect and serve, but over worked? Nope!
@@roberta4989 sad for you then , hope you are safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@roberta4989 he’s been sick for several weeks , or did you not read the subject line ?
No one knows other peoples struggles no matter who they are in your community. It was very good of you to help them out.
Another home run Brian. Thanks for being you!
Thanks for your support!! 👋👋😊
Not recent health issues but ongoing time neglect
You did great
You're a blessing Brian!
I love your optimism, thinking he's going to maintain it after you're gone. Not going to happen!!!
His neighbours are going to love you, Brian. I can’t imagine living next door to that mess.
Brian, that was SO MUCH overgrown greenery and you got it all back under control for a fellow human being. Your giving heart is always such an encouragement and leads me to look for ways to help others. Thank you for what you do…this was a huge improvement! Blessings to you and your family!
👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
I used to help my neighbors out for free, not sure why the neighbors or even that girl did not do something to help. Great Job! Thank You!
Beautiful job and what a wonderful thing to come home too. God bless you!
I'm not sure that property is worth all your hard work. Thank you for working so hard.
That's more than just weeks of growth.
The reason Brian is too notch is he helps whoever he can and does not stand in judgement of the person's circumstances. We should all have hearts like his!!
Awesome job as always❗️I hope the sheriff feels better soon. Thank you for all of your hard work, and kindness.
