Oli Dugmore interviewed Ed about the UK's alleged 'no-go areas,' reported by the Daily Mail, using his book as evidence, as well as integration and secularism. The writer argued that if extremists don't align themselves with Britain's liberal values, Muslims he believes reject 'Britishness,' then they should live elsewhere.

He's put too much of his bias into things and some of the stuff isn't really as accurate as people might think. If he doesn't like different people then North Korea has a spot for him. Good interview. I think he is wrong, however, regarding 'no-go' areas. When you are walking in a British city and see rules & regs posted at the entrance to a Muslim area...that is wrong. Also, we should have no Sharia Law courts in the UK....we need one law for all.

Not many Muslims put British law before their own muslim laws.. This is incompatible, but providing cheap labour is available on tap, it is being ignored.. There should be no religious laws that are allowed to override British ones.. If you want to remove barriers then British law needs to be enforced regardless of what religion you are… If your religious laws are in direct conflict with British law, democracy and freedom of rights then it is fair to say there is bound to be issues.. Democracy is a fragile thing, if you allow hatred to fester, the consequences are profoundly serious.. No religion is above the law, except the Muslim faith, which actively abuses British laws and does so with protection from the state.. So sad, faith schools supposedly were going to be banned, but now are allowed to preach division, hatred and defy British laws.. Islamic law is above any law if any law goes against Islam we reject it and those British citizens who lived or working in a Muslims country do their follow Islamic laws and refuse their laws.

Really?! It's one part of one intellectual tradition in the west but it's by no means the only one. The fact that neoliberalism has driven an agenda of individualism and an atomised society over the last 4 decades does not erase the history of collectivist movements of solidarity that came before, and not just the political ones I mentioned. Many religious traditions have ideas of community and mutual support at their core.
Some of use can see past the narrow ideology of Thatcherism.

I am an atheist and proud to be one and free to be one in the UK. I’ve read his book and his conclusion is just wishful thinking. British values are irrelevant to muslims who follow the Hadith. I fear that in 50 to 100 years that freedom will come at a cost, that of being a ‘dhimmi’ (a non-muslim who does not convert to Islam is only allowed to exist under Islam by paying a tax called ‘jizya’- in a caliphate if you don’t pay it you will be killed). Islam wants to rule the world and the organised minority of muslims who desire a caliphate and sharia will become so large that the disorganised majority will have to fight to prevent its spread and then essentially, if non-muslims win, muslims would hopefully be given an ultimatum- renounce your religion or leave. That ultimatum should be brought forward and given now!
We are sleep walking into a serious problem for the future. Islam has been the enemy of the rest of the world for 1500 years or rather the rest of the world is the enemy of Islam and that has not changed.

What a great interview. Oli gets under the skin with some probing questions, it’s a refreshing debate on a topic that so often falls into ‘that’s racist’ territory without properly exploring the subject.

For me this is a gentler message that Muslims are in the UK to stay. He acknowledges he extreme element of Islam is and will be a problem if not checked, and likened it to a cancer, which in itself is very difficult to cut out. A Muslims religious duty is to seed Islam and cultivate it in new areas until it takes root and takes over..... fact. 4 million now, 15 million by 2050 all other a vote. Their influence will grow in every area of life, on the street, in the schools, town halls and parliament itself. Their influence will chip away at British laws, culture, values until the rest of the country become subservient to their way of life, beliefs and values. That is happening at the micro level now in areas of high Muslim density. I have worked in Muslim countries for many years and met, worked with, socialized with many Muslim men, some I would consider great men in their own right! But I never met a great Muslim woman......why? Because their hidden from view, forbidden to mix, even with an honored male guest! I asked this question of these great men, and their answer was always, “we don’t want to encourage tempestuous thoughts about our women. Suddenly those great wise and seemingly intelligent men don’t seem so great. In the more autocratic Islamic societies such as Saudi and Iran, complete strangers will police the woman’s behavior by accosting them in the street. This is actually happening in the UK even within a minority grouping of our nation. Already we have sharia almost as a parallel system of law. How long before this becomes mainstream and the standard by which we are all judged at the macro level. So for me nationality should be conditional under curtain circumstances, namely where your loyalty is damaging to the national security of the country, because people like Beggam are a prime example of how dangerous that is. Without conditionality you cannot root it out and remove it. Where a white, black or brown person is proven to be a danger on treasonous grounds influenced by a malign foreign actor. Then they should be judged, sentenced and deported to the nation of which they align themselves, or indeed a country that best suites their beliefs. I believe there would be a sea change in who stays, who comes and who misbehaves. Just my opinion.

Once you mention divorce or even call your wife mum or auntie even as a joke its a divorce.
Dont mattar if you say it 3 times or hundred times its still counts as 1.but if say it again when you come together into the next month then its 2nd divorce. These Months are counted by the womens monthly period cycle.
Once you say divorce in 3 seperate months your 3 chances are over. You have to get married to someone else before you can get married to the divorced wife. And those who get married with the wrong intention to the new wife so they can get married to their last wife again. This would count as adultry sin.
Also divorce mentioned during pregnancy counts as 1 till shes given birth but you have to be with her till birth.
Theres a chapter in the quran in juzz 28 end it explains the rule.

Our problem is that we believe in freedom of speech and freedom of anything that goes past the window! With this attitude, we have lost all parameters in the way we live. We don't seem to be governed by law, not governed by religion, not governed by respect to the elderly, not governed by sexual identity, not governed by family values etc. When we have lost focus on all these matters, it is very easy to see how having more and more people from cultures that seem to live within strict parameters view us and therefore are able to enforce their view on us. What we have to say must sound like arty, farty, tutti,fruitti flim flam.
