I thought the god armor that Kratos had at the beginning of GOW 2 was so badass, the aesthetic of the armor matched how powerful Kratos was. Plus, that was actually the amor of Ares that was handed down to Kratos after he became the new god of war, makes sense that he would wear it. The armor in GOW 4 mostly look bland and weird on Kratos, they kinda make him look more fat that muscular. Especially the blue armor
only difference is that he gotten more "bigger" not in overall height but in mass along with growing a full bread, mans went from lone wolf to bear real quick lmao

Idk if it's just me but I like the simplicity of the boar and wolf skin armor, can I keep upgrading them or do I have to wear these other bulky armor sets?
My favorite armor's are Tyr's set, The Valkyrie set, The Traveller's set, True Warrior set, Ivaldi's Deadly Mist set, Ivaldi's Endless Mist set and finally, The Arcane Might set. I like all these armor's cause to me, they look AWESOME!

Personally, I would love to have helmets in this game, just think of how cool it would be to have a helmet with the traveler set, the traveler set is my favorite, even though I have better armour sets, I still use the traveler set because it it’s my favorite.

Olly Sherratt I’m talking about a set of wrists that are the legendary (purple grade 7 I think it was) and are titled exactly what I put. It was towards end game but I’ve completed almost every area 100% and haven’t found any others. I really hope it’s not an RNG thing and i won’t be able to complete the set. Im late but you should try to get the valkyrie armor set if you fully get it upgraded and the right enchantments it'll be way overpowered and Way better then Ivaldis Deadly mist but if you dont like that do new game plus and beat all 9 valkyries and u can get the zeus armor

I love the ancient armor set design. It also gives you 45% resistance to fire/frost/poison so it helps a lot.

If you want something which is close to the Exile Set then choose use the Wolfskin set. Also the Armour doesn't glitch as bad as some other Armours.

Im late but you should try to get the valkyrie armor set if you fully get it upgraded and the right enchantments it'll be way overpowered and Way better then Ivaldis Deadly mist but if you dont like that do new game plus and beat all 9 valkyries and u can get the zeus armor
