Amazingly enough, I found myself using the Dragon Scale chest armor with two pieces of the Steinbjorn armor. Looks awesome and you become a tough beast to beat in the game.

It’s has to be in new game + update
The sol armor which gives you rage burst when damaged and saves you from death by consuming rage after life bar is depleted is my armor set the entire game. Pair it with handles that give you strength when killing or hitting enemies and you get godly damage boosts offensively and defensively. Cleared the game and its beautiful looking at max level 👍
I love using the Talisman of Meign which is boots melee in combination with the berserker set. You can burst down even endgame minibosses in under 20 seconds
I used the radiance set for the whole game, loved the time shift build
Berserker armor set with the relic that slows down time (realm tear) are the combination I ended up with, high risk high reward armor which I like and those additional seconds the relic gives you make it absolutely worth it.
You can also partner it up with hilt of skofnung for more damage. 👌🔥

I used this along with radiance waist and gloves. And aldrin enchantments. And pommels that slow time. Best build for slow and tanks bosses like the berserker king
For Gna I went with the set that increase immolation buildup

The nidaveller set was really good early in game. Being able to heal after stun killing was clutch when you start off. I had a harder time staying alive without using resurrection stones using lundas set and the dragon armor set
After Lydia’s set, this is the one I used the most. That stun was amazing
I used nidaveller set on give me god of war difficulty Gnaa it wasn’t that bad.
Anything that heals you is basically pointless in give me god of war which makes them less popular
@@ok10469 can you tell me what armor is the best I have both the dragon armor and the berzerker armor the dragon has way better defence and strength but the berzerker has a relic damage increase
@@halal_spider9722 berserker 100% just don't forget to always activate its effect and maybe make a good build to make the most out of it
Once I realized fully upgrading the survival set has the most stats boosts I use that mixed with berserker armor
Yeah, it also boosts all stats after level 7

I use individual armor pieces because of their specific quirks.
I use the Nidavellr chest armor for health bursts on stuns, for the wrist and waist armor (which ever has a higher level at the moment) one of the fallen star armor pieces, and the dragon scale armor, this is for the increased cool down when getting hit and extra damage when you block or parry. I also use the fury rage to do (small) damage to enemies and bosses while building up health when I’m low and I have freya/Atreus shoot sonic arrows to build up stun and get even more health on top of what I got from the rage attacks. And on top of that I also use a berserker resurrection stone to do that again. I use the bifrost orb attack to send some lingering damage on my enemies and I have the hilts of the realms on all my weapons for realm shifts.
The survival set with the gem attunement you're a beast pick the ones you like cuz you can mix and match and you'll see how much this is more deadly in the right hands
Yeah once I unlocked the Steinbjorn armor I never looked back💯 great armor set and great list. In my opinion u nailed the order💯
Paired with the increase in damage based on defence boost, it’s insane.
Maybe i did something wrong but it nerfed my Strength stats
@@uwack23 It's honestly not good IMO. Spiritual, Dragon and Berserker are all vastly superior and have more strength and DPS potential. See why in no hit, no rage GMGoW full fights utilizing them on my channel.
I’m with you. If you combine with the ravens gauntlets and surtyrs waist, rond of restoration, and the right amulet setup you become an almost unkillable tank. Damage does suffer some but I was able to take down Hrolf Kraki in a single go.
40+ hrs in after the survival set I've used Vidar, Nidavellar, then Sol, now using Dragon Scales. A few mix and match at times. All have been good in their own way.
I tried almost all the sets but my fav was the radiance set. It was perfect for my playstyle and i built my Kratos around it. I also had multiple perks to enhance my damage when i got a realm shift. I unlocked all the armors but none gelled with me the way that one did!
Same, I use the radiance waist and gauntlets and then the shoulder pads of enlightenment (the dragon scale looking ones I think) and it made my game so much more fun
Glad to know I’m not the only one, kinda sad it was ranked so low. It’s the most well rounded one it gives you RNC, LCK, okay defense and a shit load of strength. I rather give up some defense for RNC and strength and get rid of enemies faster.
Yeah I haven't taken off the belt since I got it lmao it's that good Im using it with surtrs armour atm and I'm indestructible 😂
The raven tears set is insane if your looking to fight a really hard boss, it helps you have max defense and an insane amount of strength so you can keep on regenerating health and it looks insane on kratos.

My favourite is Raven, Lunda, Nidavellir and Mani set. Since I’m playing in balance diff, I don’t really have to choose best armour and can choose the one I like. The Nidavellir when maxed out looks cooler than Raven imo.
Lunda is the best Armor. You'll melt down enemy hp regardless of their levels

Lundas Chest Armor for the poison bonus, plus i think dragon bracers that up shield damage.... it just freaking melts anything bare handed. :D Loved it!
As much as you didn't mention the Raven tear set. I love the Lunda set my first play through.
My problem with Tyrs armor is that it is for a random weapon. I personally have issues quickly swapping to the right one when I get a buff from it
My favorite armor is the radiance. The fact I became a master of time and space while dealing a good deal of damage makes it worth the time to max it.

For those who are playing on GMGOW and can’t beat king Harold use: Chest: Dragon scaled
WRIST: nidavellir finest arms
Belt: Steinbjörn waist, as your armour you deal lots of stun damage with it and don’t forget the dauntless shield
Dragon chest and arms with berserker waist. See this used to max effect in no hit, no rage GMGoW full fights on my channel. Build and difficulty included.
My favorite custom set was rocking Dragon chest piece with Radiance Waist and Wrist gear.
Poison build and barefists is God like. Plus it stacks with rage. 🥶😤
Raven I run into fights without looking at health or anything healing mist and the Valor spartan rage saved me alot
Also the Nidavellir armor set is definitely worth a look.
My personal favorite and what I ended up playing as was "Lunda" set. The added poison status is amazing!
I have also the lunda set but I also have the dragon scale and berzerker and I'm still early game I really like the poison but the lunda armor is so ugly I would rather not use it

Nidavellir sustains your health and keeps the stun bar high. There's no better armor for exploration and even most boss battles. Can't believe it wasn't mentioned.
ikr plus stun meter doesn't diminish
If possible for the next update we should ask to have a Auto Save Bonus to have the gear from the previous game, think of it.

Fimblwinter wears all things down, even gear. Thats why the armor isnt there, its destroyed

The steinborn set was the one I used for the Berserker King, makes it so much easier to stun him and tank him
Surtr armor is like a better version high defense max attack way more health and only take 60% of the damage the enemy does
Steinbjorn mixed in with raven tears set, it’s the best health regen in the game. I only struggled with Gna!

Radiance wrist(or survival)
Survival waist(or radiance)
Berserker relic or tyrfing relic
Equip enchantment that increases melee damage when in realm shift(beat heimdall for it)

The starting armor is very well balanced, I agree with it being on the list. Maxed out a level 9 and you’re a beast. The dragon armor is my second favorite, it looks cool and is so strong. My third favorite is the guiding light set just based off it’s looks, all knight like and stuff!
I don’t if it’s just me but the berserker armor set reminds me of the Zeus armor set in god of war 2018
I use the radiance waist n wrist, with raven tear chest, all on level 8. Got this with the alfiehm realm shift damage oerl boost as well for the realm shift bonus damage individual perk, n now i completely melt bosses. So much damage in short time.
Gow 2018 had better armors, they have a chance to fix it in ng+ tho, let's see ares armor from gow and shirtless kratos with the golden fleece

I ended the game using the Surtr Scorched set and found it best suited my play style
Same, I'm pretty aggressive in this game which is funny because in elden ring I mostly parry and counter.
For me i focus only on strength so imo i recommend using
Beserker cuirass
Vidar wrist and belt
I did not know the steinbjorn armor was that good. Going to have to keep that in mind when I play new game plus. Of the armors, my favorites were the dragon armor and the berserker armor. The dragon was my go to until I got the berserker armor.
Very underrated in my opinion: the courage set. It doesn't have the best stats but if effectively let's you use the rage bar as a second health bar. Thereby you get much more additional health than from using the rage in any mode.
In tough boss battles I loved that feature
No mention for Mani’s set, I f you want a boost to your cool down so you can use it your runic powers to your heart’s desire? Go with that set and equip three midgard enchantments you’ll love it
The raven set definitely deserves to be in there, it has a low luck chance of granting healing mist for every successful hit on an enemy.
You didn’t mention the raven tears set. I think it’s better than at least 3 of the sets you mentioned in the video.
I only wore 3 sets, the starting armor, the fate breaker armor u get at the end, basically the same but red & the enlightenment armor set, honestly every armor that has a full breastplate looks ridiculous on kratos, he’s a god but needs a full chest plate
After 100% completing the game I’m waiting for new game plus Ron come out. Glad to watch videos about it

I’ve been playing for a few months now and Lundas set so far is the best set I have. Well worth it.
Radiance Armor is most suitable for me. I use it once got hold of it untill final battle. The time shift saved my Kratos many2 time.
So I'm new to this and I'm seeing people look at the top left Stats rather than the armor description
Narrator: This time you're taking more than just it's tooth.
Kratos: You heard him, I'm taking your shirt, your gloves, and them shoes.
Tbh the default set is amazing once it's fully upgraded

Lunda's armor is OP... makes encounters too easy.
Steinbjorn Armor lacks strength stats, so use enchantments. But you're a tank fully upgraded

Steinbjorn+Svartalfheim Enchantment+Hyperion Grapple is a great combo to build stun fast
I'm using Giptumadr's set, its 70% cooldown reset for runic attacks when you use a runic attack is broken af imo. Literally can attack only with runic attacks in rotation without cooldowns. You need a high luck in order to activate the effect and high runic power in order to do a high damage.
I went luck/poison armor. The hardest part is throwing down your weapon to beat them to death with your bare hands.
The only thing I wish they would’ve done for raganarok is some how brought the valkyries back to like Odin set new ones in place because they where so fun to fight the new boss fights and Valkyrie’s would just give the player so much to do
The best armor is not from a complete set though. The best armor is Steinbjorn's Plackard (chest) for the significantly highest defence in the game together with two pieces of Surtr's armor namely one for wrist and the other for waist. Between Steinbjorn's higest defence and amazing perk coupled with Surtr's wrist and waist for its stats plus equally amazing perk (maximum % perk for wearing both pieces) it is by far the best armor. Research them if you don't believe me. Thank me later.
Spiritual, Dragon and Berserker are the best chest pieces in the game. Mixing with those I beat every late game boss on GMGoW without taking a hit or using rage. They're all on my channel with difficulty and build shown.
I only used Vidars Might Armor Set
Killed Valk Queen in ~1-2hrs on GMGOW
and Berserk King in ~2-4hrs on GMGOW
what if I combine armour sets, lets say I would use the fate breaker chest armour and Lunda's Lost waist armour and then the berserker wrist armour, does that give me all the armour effects? Please help
I ended up getting the dragon armor set before beating the game and maxed it out so my stats were in the 500's.... the only fight that took me multiple tries was the valkyrie queen

the berserker cuirass level 9 in combination with the hilt that triggers a realm shift on max level is OVERPOWERED you only have to do the hardest boss to get it

Then you should see use it to beat all the toughest bosses on GMGoW without getting hit or using rage. GNA, Odin and many more. Build and difficulty included. All on this channel.

It's great. I used those arms and waist with Spiritual Shoulder Straps to incredible effect. It carried me thru most of the game. Including a full no hit GMGoW fight with Heimdall and many more. Check em out on my channel.

Eh in my opinion The survival armor is the best armor. And if you use the starting handles you’ll get with the axe, blade, and spear (which all give you a stat boost in every category when fully upgraded) you'll be pretty well rounded
Dragon-Scaled Armor is badass.
I beat most of the late game bosses on GMGoW without taking a hit using Dragon Scaled chest. Including GNA. Check em out on my channel.
