There's a very sad subtext to this otherwise hilarious scene, as Jimmy fabricates a story of Huell rescuing people from a burning church. Later on in the season he makes a throwaway comment to Kim that he could save a judge from her burning chambers. He may not even realise it, but subconsciously I think he's fantasizing about saving Chuck from the fire.
He did it! He took a bus down to Louisiana to mail the letters! He got those idiots on the bus to write letters for him! He impersonated a pastor using Senator Tinkerbell's accent! But oh! NOT OUR JIMMY! COULDN'T BE PRECIOUS JIMMY!

Just watched the episode of Saul & Kim getting married. Huell honesrly crushes everything he’s in. His little “that’s the only reason you’re getting married? You’re not going to bring her anywhere” like his voice being sad/depressed while also confirming who Saul really is, was legit upsetting. Huell is the best!

One of the best bits in the whole series. Everything here is brilliant - photos of Huell on the website, phones on the table, organ in the background, accent with which he presses those fairytales, student unable to stand the laughter. Insert with Clarence and the robes (that's for communion!). And as a cherry on top the hired buses that eventually broke her. I've watched this a dozen times now and still can't stand the laughter.

HHM would’ve done the same thing as well as other law firms, make one mistake they’ll hold it against you your entire life. Best example Kim wexler. She had everything and because the kettlemans fired her unreasonably, HHM through her in doc review and took away her office. It’s a serious toxic work environment and this prosecutor is a great example of why Jimmy and Kim left all that.
i'm so glad im in a profession that don't have the kind of toxic work ethic that law practice have, elitist/purist factions and whatnot software developer, we eat cheetos on the job and drink coffee & coke all day everyday while doing the great machine god's work, no time for inflated ego and pride to take root
I always say that BB and BCS are two of the best tv shows ever created. The acting, the writing, the depth and nuance that each of the actors shows to their respective character is unparalleled. When watching a TV show a person is typically well aware that they are watching a make-believe but here Bob Odenkirk and for that matter everyone involved truly make you present into another world. I have watched plenty of TV but this here is truly a masterclass of what most should aspire to, the details, the acting, the cinematography, the sound all blends so well..

Same for me. It’s one of my favorite episodes from BCS and I’ve seen it a million times. When I watch old BCS now I pay close attention to the background and am often surprised by the deep level of detail this show goes into.

That part when Jimmy starts to make a speech describing Huell and one of the students points to the whiteboard at the phrase "a friend in Jesus" and Jimmy refuses to say that with a gesture, because he is a pastor but that would be to obvious to say. Man, that was hilarious to me. That level of details is simply majestic.
