@zeese4216 , its like convincing yourself that bullets hitting you in the millions , reverberating and moving your body till it feels like vibrations, is you enduring it.
+Zyphera VS is probably the second artist (with Moby. I like his ambient) to whom i listen for years and will listen for years. Aphex Twin, Mu-Ziq, Squarepusher and other guys are outdated and i don't listen to them anymore. I even rarely listen to Flashbulb. I'm from russia btw. I believe that Aaron's Last Step and further electro/abastract is inspired with AFX's analords and maybe (not sure, actually) Syro. Because it's all started in 2005. But everything Aaron touch becomes "venetian-breakcorized" :D as i call it. Y'know: rolls, time signatures and so on. Also i noticed that VS probably has been listening to Christoph De Babalon and Somatic Responses if you look at his works from 1999-2004. And i believe that he'll not leave analogue sound theme and will dig more into jazz as it was in bulldozer album and its bonus tracks. I make such breakcore by myself since 2010 but didn't make any releases but i know that it's really intelligent style. You don't have to make amen brother mess on distortion with noise, but please make something that would be interesting to listen to probably even without looping parts. That's why "Beside the past by a lake" is the only track from "Consideration" i really like. He worked pretty good with sampling granulized snares. It wasn't real-time granulizing. Other tracks are no bad but not good either. I deleted my soundcloud account because had some argues with Mike Paradinas so no releases on planet mu for me. Maybe tigerbeat or alphabasic. Whatever. I was telling that breakcore and braindance are intelligent. So you're right. Music for your soul and mind. We returned to good old braindance with a bit of breakcore manner from Aaron. Classics in the full sense of the word. Because it's all about the structure on first place then goes sound.

I really love the use of analog TV effects. It's a shame that kids these days can't play with the weirdness of pointing their parents camcorder at the TV the output is wired to.
wow nice, actually me i prefer when he trys to clean up his sound and not go all out noisecore it's always been when the real music meets the randomness for me, like his breakthrough album, not when it's just complete unstructured noise
@@positive.juice.apartment thanks for the recc. I’ll check it out. I heard a lot of his songs and I did not enjoy them. Maybe it’s just bad luck or I’m being ignorant. Either way sorry for the harshness of my comment here.
Yes he could have done more, but I think that it's good the way he's done it, because a lot of modular artist drift of into noise music. Not saying that it is bad or anything, but using Modular for more conventional songs (at least more conventional than harsh noise) is way rarer and from what I can say it is also harder to do.
c0zened Plenty of electronic musicians don't. Nothing against them but sometimes it's better to have an audio engineer take that task on. I'm just interested to hear what Aaron does.
x x I highly doubt that his music is not ''mixed'', if you understand what a mixing engineer does then you would probably also agree. Do you know what it means to 'mix' a track or album?

it sounds like the youtube premiere song on bath salts
I don't know why but this song makes me very sad and happy at the same time
It's very emotional, I feel it too
I like to imagine sharing this song and dedicating it to my loved person, I think I met her, but I’m not sure. Nevertheless, it is how it fells ❤
@@EdgarVillagme I hope she was the person. I lost mine, I hope you do not.
Everytime I listen to this I instantly feel an empty feeling in my chest and I have no clue why. It sounds so melancholic
damn this album is sooo good
I did not like it and the beginning but now I just love it ❤
One of the best song that Aaron produced
This song is incredible. I feel and imagine the freezing atmosphere of an abstract, eclectic plane beyond full comprehension.

Something being in a 7/4 meter isn't unstructured; it's just differently-structured to what we're usually conditioned to, musically.
@@goingcrossroads can confirm! after a while of me listening to vsnares's 7/4 works, it feels normal again, like it would in 4/4

Nah, dig deeper in man’s work. This one is the only decent sounding song by snares imo. Aphex is apex music.

6.5/4
