I would love to see his points go down. 350-370 and i´d take him more often for sure. Now that they fixed him, OP detachement looks kinda interesting. Maybe that pushes me enough to pick him up and finish the paintjob.😄
Awesome videos! TSK is some kind "Jack of all trades, master of none" and it's point cost shows it( You have a lot of good weapons, good status, good auras, some potencial for solo game... but you are not magnus or angron. I like to use him as main power with little support or to clear some flang and move to middle at the end of the game. But 420 point is overcosted.
NO triarch keyword, which is kind of just a little bit of a feels bad for both a lore and synergy standpoint with one of the detachments. Kind of an odd choice, I was really hoping it was going to get fixed in the latest data slate
TSK is worth the current points: - 26 Effective wounds with the two menhirs capable of eating high damage attacks and reanimation bringing them back. - His reroll 1's is so good, considering it effects his own model. - His attacks are extremely consistent with hitting on 2's rerolling 1's. I use him in Hypercrypt with what I have dubbed the 'Death Ray on Demand': Cosmic precision the monolith within about 12" of the board edge; drop the silent king within 6" of the board edge and monolith; eternity gate 20 gauss reaper warriors with plasmancer/Arisen tyrant; move in Szeras to give the +1AP to the warriors. Preferably you give the reroll 1's as it seems to be a general discussion buff, but if you are facing space marines or death guard you can ignore their -1 to hit and AOC. Super nasty.
Excellent video I just got into warhammer Went to a shop on the way home from work They are having a “tanks-giving” event Buy a tank/monster, build/paint and on nov 30 everyone will bring whatever they entered and have a big 2 team tank battle I having no idea what’s what but thought the silent king looked cool, so that’s the unit I’m bringing to Tanks-giving
@@Kil23Joy that is awesome! He is a complex model though - take your time, and consider painting the sub-assemblies before final assembly. Also, pls let us know how you get on at tanksgiving!
@@WorHammer40k I got a month to get him put together and painted I work well under pressure, I’m not too worried about getting him finished. Learning how to deploy him properly in a team setting like that is prob going to be the hardest part
I love using The Silent King, especially in the Obeisance Phalanx. I think everything about him is perfect, only problem is he doesn't have the Triarch keyword. That would be all he needs to be worth his points and give him lovely synergy with his detachment. EDIT: I really enjoy your videos. Please keep them coming.
Love these videos. I agree needs triarch keyword. Would want fly if fly did anything this edition. I think a minor drop to high 300s say 380 and addi g the everyone ele fights last rule and extending his aura to 12 inches would be a good buff. Honestly, points staying the same and the rules buffs would make it feel better
Having a pet Spyder is pretty solid for Szeras. Youre only getting a 6+++, but he has so many wounds that it just makes the low roll more valuable. With 26 total wounds and the 6+++ its more akin to around 30-31 wounds ablatively which can always be just enough. I wouldnt bringa Spyder just for him but if you want to try and relive the "Mephrit Parking Lot" days you cant go wrong with a Spyder or two.
Such an impressive model and a great video on learning how to play against him. Have you read his novels, I did start but found it quite slow compared to The Infinite and the Divine.

It does in the app - they added it in one of the Dataslates. It's just certain Necrons don't have the Overlord keyword to qualify.
