Skorpekh Lord in Awakened with the 4+ FNP is absolutely slept on. I’ve had him hold Skarbrand down for three turns. Every time I run him out I’m super grateful. Absolutely tanks damage and people never commit enough to take him out. If they do? 1cp and he’s back on the board. Took out Farsight on his own today in the blink of an eye. He’s my jam.

I'm cooking up with something for starshatter making Doom Scythes useful and an interesting interaction with the reactive move strat. The Doom Scythe is overcosted currently but starshatter detachment buff optimizes them a bit because +1 to hit and +1 wound strat can benefit them. The interaction with the reactive move and aircraft movement conflict with eachother from the core rules for aircraft movement where it says if this model cannot move 20" it is placed into reserves. Since the reactive move is a normal move but only 6" do you think it would move 6" and pivot or get sent to reserves which would let you board edge it again on your turn. McGuyver way to pick one up to saftey if it lives after getting shot at.

Being an entire 40k cinematic universe that is being created, no doubt Eisenhorn will definitely eventually be a part of it. But Henry as Eisenhorn? He would play him right and look fantastic, but it seems unlikely. He is thinking big. Of a more important, pivotal, character. With longevity. Who can exist in 30k and 40k.

Have an update on the Starshatter detachment, I used 2 annihilation barges. Take into account my opponent was playing Tyranids, but I got about a 50% of the total possible mortal wounds out on hidden and/or adjacent units. In my opinion I got great use out of them and fairly good against horde detachments.

Best model i would say Kroot Lonespear. Worst mini Corteas. best unit Nemesis Claw Worst unit all the BA just don't like them. Best reveal, The Phoenix Lords and Aspect warriors. Worst reveal, the BA. Best Box set, got the Chaos box set with the jump marines, but also got the 3 Agents boxes. Worst box sets, Penitent crusade. would say the Necron box set is nice if you are starting but most of the battleforce boxes is made to only get once and for players starting an army.

If we are being honest I think that the idea of having the codex have all the datasheets is pointless and we need to move to full digital for data cards and detachments because of how often they change and dataslate the crap out of everything. What they need to do with the hard copy of the codexes is just make it a lore dump for the faction as well as army displays for painting ideas and the code to unlock your army on the app. that way we can keep up with the changes and not have to write or tear out our pages from our books.

It sure has been a wild ride and I've just come into Necrons, including buying a Monolith and was looking forward to playing Hypercrypt. 😢 My timing always sucks, lol.

Fun went with complexity and constant updates .updates just say the rules dont work and when other players use different rules to you it's a frustrating mess . Sorry this game is now horrible . I wont play again . Bring back 3rd edition when it was a Thursday night fun game without updates

I quit after 8th edition. Been playing all my life. Now, 40k is a waste of time and money compared to other Wargames. Here's what i mean. You spend some good money buying the models you like, then spend time assembling and painting. You spend a half hour or so driving to your LGS. You spend time setting up and by turn 2, you usually know who's ganna win but you want to be polite and play it out. 2-3 hours later, you're finished now gatta spend time packing up and driving home. Now, all of this would actually be worth it if the god dang rules didn't change/update/faq all the time. Because the worse waste of time is practicing your army only for it to change dramatically and all that practice goes to waste. I could even live with that if it wasn't so freaking expensive to keep up with it all There are plenty of other wargames that don't do these and are better worth your effort, time and money

Imho, important thing about stalker is that he is trash unit. Throw him for death. Use for "ignore cover" to kill tank. Use like charge block. Run in opponent's deployment on first turn to block land raider. And maybe he will survive and contunue his dirty work)

yes an army can grow quickly. i have been maining Nids since 4th and almost got 12k points where at about 13k before loosing FW models to legends. but my CSM army have also grown to about 11k points and my Necrons to 9.5k :)

Great video. I bought 3 Warhammer Imperium mags to get three of these units. I preferred their ability from last edition when they gave your army +1 to hit an enemy unit that the Stalker hit with their guns. I love the fact that they have a flame weapon, but a Doomstalker just seems like better value with its gun and range...

i quit the game after years of having to buy different models, and throwing away unusable ones. the final straw was when my 2 full companies of space marines were down graded to lessser marines. and now they suck, buy 225 new marines. FU games workshop. ive played 40k since my birthday in 1989 when i got some as a present, i stuck it out through 9 editions of the game. but no more. they dont care about the game or the players, they just want money. plus the rules have changed so drastically over the past 8 years, it feels like your playing a tabletop pc game, everything has hit points!!!!!

I just used my Stalker this week on a grey knight dreadnaught. I rolled a 6 for damage and was 6" away. So Melta 4. My opponent was not pleased. :D Merry Christmas guys!

Tesseract Vault has a nice torrent profile too. Same with Imotekh ofc. I do like this unit in Obe Phalanx but I always feel like it under performs. Str 9 on melta only wounds transports on a 4, any other vehicle needs the +1 from the detachment rule to make it effective and even then its a crapshoot on if it does anything. Loved it as a secondary/objective holder but other than that kind of a waste.

They should just have competitive rules and normal rules. Sounds like more work but balancing for all players will be possible. Are you a tryhard? Here are your competitive rules. Are you a normal player? Here are your normal rules.

hey there. I have to know cause I don't think I'm understanding it right. when it says "unit from your army that has not been selected to fight this phase." it confuses me because my brain thinks (this unit can not fight this phase. but they have to because the effect only lasts this phase). So what's the deal lads? if I use that stratagem "suffer no rival" for example, do the units get to fight? do I use it before they fight, and then select them to fight? do I activate it and then my next round i can use it?

Would you still rank it C tier? ;p
