People saying that Godzilla killing Tiamat in GxK is kinda goofy, Godzilla was injured and running on fumes in the comic, and in the movie, bro is well rested, and just absorbed an entire Nuclear reactor, bro was juiced, so no shit he won and made quick work of her

Considering Godzilla was the equivalent of a teenager AND was not nearly as radioactively juiced as he is today, the fact that The Rival defeated him is not all that impressive, and is further evidence that King Kong is indeed stronger than The Rival since he can go toe-to-toe with the older/juiced Godzilla.

The thing about Godzillas evolution is it takes high amounts of radiation for him to absorb before he can fully evolve to his potential, he literally needs atomic bomb levels of power, we see this in KOTM when Dr. Ishiro Serizawa went to Godzillas lair, when they said it would take him years or decades before he was healed, but with the bomb, Godzilla was fully healed, super charged and was much bigger and stronger than before, enabling him to bring a harder fight to Gdorah.

I’d think it would make more sense if it was Dagons history we were learning about, I understand titans can grow very old but even in this fictional universe I think it’s a pretty far stretch to believe our Godzilla is the same as the ancient ones who battled in the hollow earth

Dagon died sometime in the late Pleistocene-Not that long ago. As for the age thing, The Hollow Earth’s time dilation effect helps explain the aging weirdness to some effect.

If you watch the movie carefully and see what Teamat's layer was made of and the amount of power Godzilla absorbed. It's insane. He is almost trying to absorb energy from the Sun.
Earth energies are not good enough for him anymore. Also the difference was portrayed well. Shimu who even froze Gidorah couldn't even put a scratch in Godzilla. Even Kong almost lost an arm from frostbite. But Godzilla ... dude just used it like House AC.
Doubt Kong is on par with this new version of Goji. Godzilla has been juiced up to ridiculous levels. Question I'd have, would the writers give Kong the ability to adapt as quickly as Godzilla? If he could adapt the old school electric abilities then he'd be on par, or at least closer to Godzilla's power levels. Of course all that depends on what Toho wants.

Both Kings in GvK had serious potential to kill each other, as Kong should've been smarter with the axe as it would have been much more useful hitting Godzilla above the neck instead of just his leg as it did penetrate Godzilla's skin, so I believe it could have beheaded Godzilla, if he went for that shot with the correct strength
And well there are countless ways Godzilla could have killed Kong, from drowning to ripping him and biting him apart and well incinerating him

They don’t give Kong his full power capabilities. They’re literally nerfing him because in the contracts they don’t want Godzilla ever looking weak in these films. Kong has beat Godzilla multiple times in the original series and comics but these new films has Godzilla killing every titan or beating them up badly like he’s unstoppable. Creating a false narrative and perception that he can’t be beat even in the new movie I hate how they made Godzilla look like Shimo and him are on the same level and they’re not at all. I bet they won’t even give Kong his lightning powers it would make Godzilla look crazy. Because he can’t beat that Kong it would be him getting beat up or a draw. I see your point but I don’t. Both GvK and GxK are Kong movies Godzilla is just in them. Secondly taking the writing into consideration is a weird argument just from an arrogant view point because let’s be honest here Kong would not be able to go toe to toe with King Ghidorah. Even if you gave him electric powers his axe his glove and everything he was getting tossed around by shimo. Ghidorah is not only a flying 3 headed alien dragon. He has electric beams that destroy pretty much anything. He is a walking hurricane any way you write it the plot armor for Kong must be armor made of vibranium ( captain America’s shield). Taking that into consideration the fact that Godzilla was still able to stand his ground speaks to his abilities. He also killed Ghidorah where it not for the humans in the ocean and you could argue he would’ve died to MechaGodzilla in GvK but I could say the same that where it not for the humans Godzilla would have drowned Kong in the ocean. The what if game deosn’t work. Therefore we can only use what we are given. Godzilla beat Ghidorah and survived the brutal beatings however I highly doubt Kong would survive a huge fall or an ass whopping the length of Ghidorah or MechaGodzilla gave to Godzilla. That being said I will argue where it not for mothera, Godzilla would’ve been outright frozen by shimo like you realize he did no visible damage to her right? At best he apprehended her throwing her all over the place but honestly just because if not for mothera he would’ve been frozen solid I’d argue it’s ok for him and Kong to team up. They needed to because as the title says they would’ve fallen alone sure Godzilla wouldn’t have gone down without a fight but for sure it would’ve been a challenge. Regardless I feel like you should ease up I get that Kong is a lovable character and I really do like him but his awesomeness isn’t his power it’s his character how we connect with him through his actions. After he got body slammed he said f*** this and started whooping godzillas ass, knocked him out and quit attacking him because he didn’t want to fight. Then Godzilla woke up and started spamming his atomic breath and missed everything but did enough to make the air so dusty it impaired kongs vision leading him to get speared by Godzilla without knowing then Godzilla got on top of him and was about to kill him before getting saved.
In my eyes neither one of them won that fight because it wasn’t fair especially since Kong didn’t seem to struggle until he could see a thing

Considering Godzilla had his own territory at the time of this battle, I doubt he wasn't fully grown at the time. If he had his own territory that means he had to take it from another, I don't see a teenage gojira defeating a grown titan.

I think it's Kong's grandfather and the former King of the Great Apes. Maybe he was backstabbed by Skar King and that is why SK is mentioned as a false king as well. Kong's parents took Kong to Skull Island to protect the lineage and Kong's destiny was always to be the rightful ruler or King of the Great Apes.

My take on Kong vs Godzilla is that most of us who saw GxK realized how OP Godzilla is right now. While Kong got injured by Shimo, and his arm suffered freeze burn that basically put him in a brace, she froze Godzilla’s whole body and he literally broke out seemingly unharmed and loving the fight against her. The fact of the matter is that, Kong is still inexperienced. He’s not truly ready to go up against Godzilla. Plus, we see that when Skar King started messing with Godzilla, he immediately ran from him because Godzilla had more combat experience. Strength wise, Godzilla is still way stronger. The way he topples Shimo despite her size is a feat that Kong has yet to show. And for those who say Kong is more muscular, yes he is, but remember that Godzilla seems to have more muscle fibers all around and a massive tail balancing his weight and push. Kong is more upper body dominant. Godzilla is full body dominant. This is why regardless of where the enemy attacks, Godzilla’s defense remains 360 horizontal and vertical, close quarters and far range. They basically made it so that regardless of environment, Godzilla adapts and we see how even in zero gravity, he had no trouble jumping around and flying to wherever Shimo was to body check her with great force. Plus, in the last fight, Godzilla was still calling out plays for both Kong and Shimo. He didn’t need to for Mothra because she has the equivalent experience that he has and it showed on how she also fought alongside him fluently even helping him out without command. Kong is still young but hopefully this changes gradually.

Godzilla X Kong was BY FAR the worst and its Tohos fault. Skar King Was nerfed by toho because they were afraid he would be too popular. Two years ago he was bigger than godzilla and kong and was sitting on his throne (dwarfing the throne) with godzilla and kongs skulls. He had glowing eyes (which they dont use or explain) and MASSIVE arms. When Toho got more involved they nerfed him down and FORCED legendary to add Shimo (an old toho anguirus design) to weaken scarking and his influence, Godzilla became so OP he looked to be four times as strong as shimo. Mothera was OP as well, she took no damage. Meanwhile the American made titans die in 2 seconds (tiamat and scilla). The power of Godzilla ruined the movie for me along with the nerfing of Skar King, Tiamat, Scilla, AND Kong (they dont even have the balls to give him his electric powers). Movie was a WASTED opportunity for legendary.

Kong can par with Godzilla. I just saw him knock out the G man for a few secs to drag him to a portal. Now to be fair Kong did ketch Godzilla by surprise with his power glove. Ultimately It really depends on circumstance, using close range attacks Kong wins most, but using long range attacks Godzilla wins most. Plus we see Kong becoming more intelligent setting traps etc in middle earth, and now he has an axe with a power glove. Godzilla has radiation to upgrade him while Kong has his smarts and human intervention to ugrade him.
