Rampage saying Anderson Silva lost to father time is so dope. I've always thought the same but its great to hear a fighter say it out loud. I'm absolutely loving this podcast.
@@DADRB0B55I want to say Weidman is legit but he fell off so hard. A large part of that would have to be attributed to the recurring and new injuries he would have after every fight
I still remember the time when Quinton "Rampage" Jackson went up against Lyoto Machida, while BJ Penn took on Matt Hughes in the undercard. Both Rampage and "The Prodigy" Penn secured victories that night. Between 2000 and 2010, these two warriors were truly at the pinnacle of their game. As a fan, I'm really happy to see them enjoying retirement and leading successful lives post their incredible careers. Much respect to both of them!
This is GOLDEN!!! Two legends talking about their careers in the sport of MMA. Before and after. A podcast I could enjoy watching and hearing again and again. Much Mahalo BJ Penn and Rampage Jackson 🤙
Dude. I grew up on these guys. I love this content from Rampage, love the podcast with Dillshaw. And now a legend of BJ Penn calibur! Please keep it coming Rampage, Fight talk with you i cant get enough if❤
BIG THANK YOU TO JAXXON PODCAST for giving us the PRIVILEGE to hear the stories, the wars, the WISDOM from our LEGENDS!! I've watched UFC since the beginning, and i train myself, and hearing these stories really brings me back to those good old Warrior days! If only the modern fans can really feel what it was back then..I would be HONORED, to at least meet these legends 1 day....again, THANK YOU!
I got to see BJ knock out Sherk live in Vegas at the MGM. I was in the nose bleeds but it was so amazing. Bj Penn was the greatest fighter on earth at the time and there was people everywhere, at the weigh ins, everywhere just trying to catch a glimpse of BJ. Love Vegas when there’s fights happening I hope it’s still like that. Anyway love to see BJ doing well, Rampage too. The reason why I love the fight game is because guys like these.
@ that’s really cool, what a great night of fights with some real legends on the card. I don’t know if you remember Joe Silva who use to do all the matchmaking but we were literally sitting almost at the top of the arena and up walks Joe Silva just buy himself and Im like hey what are you doing up here, and Hes all like the view isn’t that bad etc. Never really got answer just weird to see him in the nosebleeds. Not sure if that was your first UFC fight but it was mine and I had an incredible experience. Just the fighters that were walking around and meeting fans was awesome. If anyone is ever able to go to a UFC PPV where it’s stacked i highly suggest it. Not all fight may be good but this PPV card was stacked top to bottom. I still have the Poster signed by the whole card framed and the T shirt. Hope u has as good as time as I did.
BJ was and still is one of the most exciting fighters I ever watched. Rampage is a true legend also. Two greats right here👊🏻 many thanks gentlemen. For all the blood sweat and tears.
So much honest, self awareness and accountability from these 2 as well. I can see why they were Champions... 2 of my all time favorites from when I first started watching
Two of my all time favorite fighters, from way back when Rampage was trolling me on Sherdog for hanging on Kevin Randleman's nuts and BJ was stuffing takedowns at Team Quest while prepping for Matt Hughes! Great podcast. This is my comment, I'm subscribed, and consider this video LIKED.
Love hearing these fighters finally talk! We've only known them through fight interviews and this is awesome. WAR RAMPAGE!!! WAR BJ PENN!!!!! GOOD SHIT
Great podcast guys. It's really cool to see these legends of the MMA world having a relaxed chat about various topics. Rampage is a likeable guy and a great host.
Amazing conversation and beautiful chemistry between two BMF goats plus a top top middleman! Definitely should have BJ as a regular guest, thank you gentlemen God bless 💯
BJ is an awesome speaker i hope hes got his own podcast id definitely listen hes got his finger on the pulse and the ability to articulate it. Well spoken.
Wtf I just checked it out and Rampage went to Lassen Community College that’s crazy, loving these podcast. I never knew how wise BJ Penn is, loving his vibes sick ass guys mahalo 🤙🏾
Glad to see rampage started a podcast, he’s a natural and wish he would have takin Rohan’s advice years ago and made his own UA-cam page, he’d have 1mil plus subs just talking about fights and his everyday life and makin lots of money.. Not too late to start and let it grow
Fedor & Bro, Rampage, Overeem, Bas Rutten, Kharatonov, Mark Coleman, Kerr, Don Frye, Sakuraba, Cro Cop, Arlowski, Belfort, Wanderlei , Bj Penn, Matt Hughes, Carlos Newton, Matt Sera, GSP, Gracie’s, Nog Bros, Shogun bros, Shamrock bros, Tank Abott, Randy Coutre, Tito, Chuck. Loved the 2000s. In the UK used to watch UFC on Bravo. Pride FC we had to buy DVDs and watching UFC 1&2. MMA was quite niche in UK back then. Don’t really watch now 😅
This is easily my newest favorite entertainment. Rampage and all the legends… all the backstage stories and all the shit we have never heard about, and details we have missed. Absolutely love it. Just epic.
For the newer UFC fans.. BJ was one of the baddest to ever do it! Turned no fades down, even heavyweights. Wish he fought today. Hed be a triple champ.
Keep your head up BJ, you're a walking, talking legend warrior. I always support and root for BJ no matter what. He's on my short list for people I always root for in life. Mike Tyson, Nate Diaz, Platinum Mike Perry, BJ Penn, and Katt Williams.
LOVE IT!! SOOO HAPPY RAMPAGE/CHAMP IS DOING THIS,We can listen to actual fighters talking abt life & just how they got into this fight game!! LOVE IT NOTHING BUT LOVE CHAMP & RESPECT
I spoke to BJ Penn’s mom at a UFC convention the night before he fought Edgar the second time in Boston, I told her that her son was getting her belt back…it didn’t work out that way but BJ is one of my all time favorite fighters ever. Couldn’t sleep the night GSP beat him in the rematch 😂
Wasn’t an MMA fan at the time you two were fighting but my buddy across the street was so I knew who y’all were. Fast forward today ima huge fan of the sport. Love seeing legends chop it up together on the pod.
50 year old combat veteran. I really relate to your comments, and so many in our community do as well. Appreciate your humility, honesty, and integrity BJ Penn amd Rampage. If not reach out to start one. Sorry didn't mean to get dark but sometimes dark is necessary.
Man much love and respect for these two legends . I became an instant fan of rampage when I seen him debut in the ufc from pride and ko Chuck Liddell .
Rampage is podcasting now? Hell ya man. This my new favorite podcast. What a perfect host he's highly respected, lotta knowledge he been in the game a minute, and will have the best guests!
Keep the podcast going you have great connections and it already is and will be a hell of a podcast
Thanks you so much!!! 🙏🏻 so much good energy and so much appreciation of you!
Two legends bouncing off each other.....I love it! Get BJ on again soon ...
Thank you!
Thus podcast is a gift I met Rampage years ago at an ufc event ..what a class act .
@@MotoMiles Of course you did!....And I'm the King of Spain....
You can see the respect Rampage has towards Bj right off the bat
Real knows real
And vice versa
Damn skippy!!! He better put some respek on his name
Only the real ones know what's up
Right, I’ve never seen a interview with Rampage where he was so polite and respectful towards a male host/guest 😂😂
Miss these guys in the octogon. Can't think of ufc without mentioning these 2 legends.
Facts 2 legends
For real!!! But I rather see Rampage than BJ. I know Rampage still got that dog in him

I like how the spider went out.
Father time should be every warrior's primary opponent.
Bisping and weidman clinging to their claims that they beat Anderson in his prime 😂😂😂
Weidman was legit he also beat Machida. Bisping arguably lost to Silva & Hendo while ruining 185 so too different scenarios
@@DADRB0B55I want to say Weidman is legit but he fell off so hard. A large part of that would have to be attributed to the recurring and new injuries he would have after every fight
@@DADRB0B55yea he lost both to Hendon and silva tbh
BJ Penn was my childhood hero, watching him in his prime on PPV with my buddies are some of my most fond memories. JUST SCRAP BJ!!!
Same yes great book
100%
I agree! Mines was George st. Pierre
Sad to see that he lost of of his IQ and now he just spreads obvious misinformation. Dude is cringe AF now.
Damn rampage has a chill ass podcast. Prolly the most genuine convo ive heard on UA-cam. Just two vets reminiscing n talking fights
The golden age of MMA! It's crazy how many iconic moments these men gave us.
Right!!
I like this one...2 OGs
One is a " prodigy"
Lets go! Legends !
Two legends of MMA!
so much good energy and so much appreciation of you!
@BearDegidio you think Rampage would game with me some rounds? He can pick the game to play lol

What a fuckin legend BJ is. Always got goosebumps when he would be walking out to fight. Never a truer motherfucker of the game than BJ in his prime.
His savage knockout of Caol Uno is still one of my favorite KOs of all time
Rampage killing it bro
Good talks
Good questions

Yessah, it’s crazy how most modern day fans don’t know how much of a savage Bj was back in the day. Braddah put the 808 on the map in the UFC.
This was legit the best and most real interview I have seen with BJ, glad to see he is seemingly doing good as ever, Rampage too.
Living legend for sure. Always great to see this Hawaiian still moving forward and taking care of business. 💯💪🏽
