Alistair is an absolute legend and a joy to listen. He’s very engaged in conversations and asks follow up questions to continue the convo naturally. My main beef is how Bear just constantly interrupts, doesn’t let his guests complete their stories or their thoughts, and acts like they’re being pressed for time like they have to finish the podcast ASAP. It really kills the flow.
All fighters should learn from Overeem. Drinking milk with biscuits before going to bed every single day is the secret for longevity and a disciplined martial artist lifestyle.

@@canunlu1879 lol. Thats a bit of a stretch. U make it sound like its almost the same. It might be closer to english then most other languages, this doesnt mean its still miles and miles off actual english. The dutch dialect "Fries" is actually the closest to english and i never understand a word they are saying. The reason a lot of Dutch people speak decent english is mainly because we always use subtitles on english tv shows as opposed to the rest of europe where they just overdub them in their own language.
Yooo Rampage and Bear’s reaction to Rockhold naming Glen the problem is hilarious 😂😂😂 also bear is 100% right about these being in person with rampage. Please keep it like that.
This was another 10! Back to back to back, stellar episodes. The end was so funny. Thanks to Overeem. What a legend. This show is a joy. I'm like a giddy "Shaq rolling his shoulders" meme, everytime I see a new ep release. Podcast of 2023/4 hands down
This is the only podcast, radio show or TV show that i watch/listen to from beginning til end. Who knew having three killers in one room can be so entertaining. Great job Bear for putting this together you definitely are a top notch Entrepreneur
Bear if you want to run the show, organise the questions more structured, now the questions are all over the place. I think Luke asks the most interesting questions and I would have loved to hear more about how Overeem wrote all his workouts himself but if you don't have the patience to listen and ask more questions (Bear), you lose a lot of valuable information. Maybe you just want to make good shorts out of this show but you have the connections for all the legend fighters and it would be great if there would be more stuff about their techniques, what made them great, what did they do different from the. Less bs about all the drama
First time listening to the show very good conversation. Rampage was the guy that made me a fan of the sport. Alistair was also someone that I began to follow yrs. later in the UFC. Great chemistry great stories!
Serious studies have to be done on Overeem. He's suffered some serious bad KOs and not a single sign of CTE. Not to be more morbid for the furthering of studies for understanding head injuries, he should donate his brain when he's passed on. 😅😮💀
He has it 100%. My suspicion is that guys who are more naturally intelligent, which Overeem clearly is, can conceal and 'work around the issues' a lot better. GSP is the best example of this.
Thought Overeem did some really outstanding fight analysis, I hope he will consider doing more of it in the future.. God knows he has a ton of experience. Glad he seems to be doing well
It's because they didn't have a cage to pin opponents against and hump on for 15-25 mins. Pride was all about action and movement. Even the grappling was good because it was our in the open, like it should be.
@@poindextertunesin reference to PRIDE what he says is just flat out true, their rule set was very anti grappler and they would constantly stand guys up or throw yellow cards if there was too much grappling or “stalling” which was basically just guys trying to find position.
Man, I really have a lot of newfound respect and love for Alistair after this podcast. I had no idea he had so much depth, he’s definitely a lot smarter than just a big guy who can fight
Overeeem talking about Tyrone spong not being a good team player is wild. Overeem use to injure all his teammates and literally try to KO them in the Blackzilians days
Overeem is the one fighter that got koed like 12+ times in actual fights and doesn't sound punch drunk at all. That always impressed me even like 7 years ago, and he still sounds fine. He has to have the best genetics for recovering from concussions.
It was a pity the guest found himself interrupted so many times for the hosts to tell their stories instead. Overreem barely was able to squeeze in his projects or even life views for that matter. He was about to offer an analysis of Mc Gregor that got cut off...Perhaps just ask a question and wait until the guest has stopped speaking before interrupting. It has a feeling of a wasted interview. Is it really relevant to now who's strongest between ngannou and lesnar? It's a real pity.

At some point everyone starts losing. And in ubereem era, everyone he was fighting was also on the juice. Overeem simply has freak genetics, could have been a bodybuilder.
Best guest so far
📈📈📈
🧢
Great video Alistair is a legend of the sport and he had some great stories & spoke wise words. Thank you so much for getting him on the pod!
Badr Hari as the guest would be dope
Definetely! A true k1 legend!
Yes, Badr with Overeem.
Do they still dislike eachother ?@@michaelangelokapirig6151
That would be crazy
Yassss
Alistair is an absolute legend and a joy to listen. He’s very engaged in conversations and asks follow up questions to continue the convo naturally.
My main beef is how Bear just constantly interrupts, doesn’t let his guests complete their stories or their thoughts, and acts like they’re being pressed for time like they have to finish the podcast ASAP. It really kills the flow.
All fighters should learn from Overeem. Drinking milk with biscuits before going to bed every single day is the secret for longevity and a disciplined martial artist lifestyle.
No other way to become Ubereem
Horsemeat too.
He’s raw vegan
How he changed to Alisteroid overnight was insane.
The Reem, let’s goooo
So much better when these guys interview compared the Rogaine
ya rogan is a dope, he only has really interesting guests, his questions, gay fake laughs, jokes going over his head, bullshit opinions are all annoying as fuck
i dont like rogan because he goes on way too much about surgery, injuries and all the rehab crap for way too long
Rogan done so many pods he starts to get repetitive
@@GK-gr2mx super repetitive. if i hear one more time a random comedian is a killer im gonna lose it
You guys cryin about Rogan are the first to listen to his podcasts
Ubereem the legend
No he’s transformed back to Undereem, just like in the Pride-Days.
@@Sigmadrip_41068he still huge tbh looks in great shape still jacked. That dude will never lose everything great genes juice or noy
Met Alistair at UFC 196 in 2016 McGregor vs Diaz 1.
It was after the fight at the MGM my 2 buddies and I were hanging in the arena.
Noticed Alistair was just chillin in the arena himself so went up to chat.
He asked for some gum cause his breath stank or maybe it was me. and asked if I Wha’s working (was wearing a three piece suit to honor Conor 😂)
He’s a super cool dude. Thanks for having him on. Your podcast offers such insight to mma.
I was following back in the Sherdog days.
Thanks again JAXXON
I think Overeem might be one of the smartest fighters out there, it’s very surprising considering all the damage he’s taken over such a long career!
Ok i've seen enough, I dare you to bring Cro Crop or Fedor.
Fantastic fighters, but boring for interviews.
Language bareer cant let it happen
@@GggGgg-ek3dw crocop speaks english
I remember cro cop ranked that interview guy in the pride days
@@sigmauchiba4734he almost made Mauro Ranallo piss and shit himself 😂 Mauro wanted to run tf away from Mirko while asking help from Bas Rutten 🤣
Alistair has been ko 3 times in kickboxing and 15 times in MMA between 82 fights and he is as sharp as a knife mentally genetics is real
My favorite fighters are:
Alistair Overeem
Lyoto Machida
Uriah Hall
Anderson Silva
Fedor
Israel Adesanya
You got most of them in your show
Thx so much guys
Oh?
Vagynosanya
Uriah hall seems so random on that list
what? yujiro hanma not on ur list😮. ogre! ogre!
Overreem way more intelligent than I ever knew. Great to hear from such a legend of mma and kickboxing.
love this show man … sick set up and guests keep going lads
One of my favorite fighters ever, the reem!!! Cant wait to watch this after work that man got stories I bet, your guys podcast has become one of my favorites because of the great guests, keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!
My favourite MMA fighter. Dude had the best knee strikes in MMA history.
Overeem was the reason why i even started doing kickboxing 15 years ago and started to put on muscle. I was his biggest fan and still is. At one point he was the best in the world across all combat sport.
And for all those who says he is all steroids i want you all to know that everyone at that time used peds
Wow I never knew how sentimental Alister is. Sounds sounds like a great dad. This podcast is the best man❤
great dad but couldn't hold his daughter from going the depression and transgender route
I was an MMA super fan back in the late 90's up to around 2012 or so and seeing these guys after their careers are over, getting on well and doing good for themselves really warms my heart. I know some of these guys have health issues but a lot of em seem to be doing good and giving back. Great podcast.
I’ve been asking for this. Thank you.
For a guy that has been kod so many times and speaks in a 2nd language he speaks better then most Americans 😂😂
Yeah its insane dude was once knocked out 13 times in one year😂
Dutch is not that far off from English, also it’s taught in schools from a young age
@@canunlu1879 shut up
@@canunlu1879and part his family is English
Alistar knows Rampages fight history better than him
crazy
I noticed that 😂.
This was another 10! Back to back to back, stellar episodes. The end was so funny. Thanks to Overeem. What a legend. This show is a joy. I'm like a giddy "Shaq rolling his shoulders" meme, everytime I see a new ep release. Podcast of 2023/4 hands down
every body the most requested according to Bear haha
Kids nowdays won't understand how big of a star allistar was back in the days
51:46 rampage got pissed funny af
Great podcast again guys. I would like to hear Luke's health regime. I think a lot of the audience could learn a lot.
Best MMA Pod ever , the ending to the podcast was amazing too when rampage said 'na the police raised my hand'🤣
Alistair was always an amazing fighter. Great guy too👍💪
Thoughtful, sharp and articulate. Great guest.
Alistair fighting just for a belt and not getting paid is crazy.
Serious studies have to be done on Overeem. He's suffered some serious bad KOs and not a single sign of CTE. Not to be more morbid for the furthering of studies for understanding head injuries, he should donate his brain when he's passed on. 😅😮💀
Everyone is built different anatomically.
Glad he seems to be doing well
23:47 Rampage: "He woke up dead?"
Lmao, looks nobody caught that in the room
One of my favorite fighters of all time. Great conversation between these warriors!
90 plus fight gah damn overeem is still well spoken
Mr Miyagi once said Jaxxon Jaxxoff
LoL, why doesn't this comment have more attention 😅
Every guest is the most requested lol
Very very happy you got Alister finally. He is wealth of knowledge. Rampage I am big fan of you too.
Allistair is so articulate. Makes sense given how long he’s been in the game. Wealth of information.
Great point about pride being more artistic, they had a vibe!! I would like to have that again!
It's because they didn't have a cage to pin opponents against and hump on for 15-25 mins. Pride was all about action and movement. Even the grappling was good because it was our in the open, like it should be.
@@jackbauer4186its wild to me that some mma “fans” don’t respect the ground game
@@poindextertunesin reference to PRIDE what he says is just flat out true, their rule set was very anti grappler and they would constantly stand guys up or throw yellow cards if there was too much grappling or “stalling” which was basically just guys trying to find position.
Luke was dropping some knowledge!!
94 fights is a lot of experience!🤯😤😮💨
Man, I really have a lot of newfound respect and love for Alistair after this podcast. I had no idea he had so much depth, he’s definitely a lot smarter than just a big guy who can fight
No way!!!! My favorite fighter of all time let’s gooooooo
Overeeem talking about Tyrone spong not being a good team player is wild. Overeem use to injure all his teammates and literally try to KO them in the Blackzilians days
As a result of their energy. If those guys are gonna go at him harshly in training he is not gonna back down.
Matchups with Alistair Overeem that we missed out:
-Fedor Emekianenko
-Daniel Cormier
- Cain Velásquez
- Jon Jones
Kickboxing fight with rico verhoevn
Liddell slept him though. Great fight.
@TimeMariner young Reem.
Semmy chilt kickboxing
Overeem is the one fighter that got koed like 12+ times in actual fights and doesn't sound punch drunk at all. That always impressed me even like 7 years ago, and he still sounds fine. He has to have the best genetics for recovering from concussions.
You don't always need guests. Interview rampage 100x it's always fun
Man, Alistair is so smart, I’m so proud I met him and trained with him once when I was living in Netherlands.
Really? He allows random civilians to train with him ?
