It definitly climbs the walls of my vinyl pool (comes out of the water even) well worth the money I think. Thanks!

    I have this product. I think it is good for leaves and other dirt but it doesn't clean the algea residue on the walls. I was cleaning my pool manually as it explained at the end of the video. It was not that hard and it was a good work-out too. I don't recommend this product. Clean your pool yourself. You will have faster blood flow and it will clean your body as well. :)

    Just got mine. It has the mesh filters. How good do they work? My pool is very clean and I had issues with the Ultra fine type cartridges with my old Hayward Shark Vac. I know you recommended the upgrade of the other filters.

    • @CarlMeliusCarlHelpsU
      @CarlMeliusCarlHelpsU  2 роки тому

      The mesh work fine. The fine filter will keep in the dirt a little better.
      Some dirt will come through the top of the Dolphin but just keep the skimmer one and the dirt will go to that.

    I just bought one, seems to work good but sort of wondering why not leave it in the pool like a Polaris. I notice the power supply is not water proof so sort of confused how your supposed to use the Dolphin. I don’t want to have to set it up every time I want to clean the pool.

      I found the best way for me to wind up the 18 meter (59 foot ) cord after takeing out the dolphin is to lay it out straight on
      the ground then go back to the cart and wind it around, it seems not to twist so much when I do it that way. I also put a cloth
      around the conector with a rubber band so it doesn't get damaged when being pulled toward the cart..Also when the unit is
      sitting in the caddy its shapped so the treads aren't flattened so I recommend getting one with the dolphin..

It worked fine for most of the summer and now has started to climb the wall and stay at the top edge and will not go back down to the bottom I've cleaned the filters and looked for anything out of place. Can you reset your outlet? Unplug and replug. Hold in the power button for 4 seconds and let go. Thank you..

    Thank you for this nice review, I wonder if it can remove the slippery algae from the pool floor and walls !

    • @CarlMeliusCarlHelpsU
      @CarlMeliusCarlHelpsU  4 роки тому +1

      You have to kill that kinds of algae because it usually is stuck tight to the pool wall. Shock the pool (1 bag per 16,000 gallons of water) then add some Clear Aid from Leslie Pools. The Robot is meant to pick up debris. Thank you...

      The 123 function buttons refer to the 3 cleaning cycle options 1 2 and 3 hours. just press the button and the robot will go for that time.

    For something that you have to run everyday inside the pool this is an absolutely horrible design. I’m not quite sure why anybody would buy this or any system like it. I must be missing something. Mine runs everyday, unattended, automatically, for 2 hours, and works perfectly. My pool is open 365 days per year, meaning it’s never covered. And I have to vacuum it maybe once per year. What value is there in a system that you have to wheel out there everyday to use? And why have a system where you have hoses and wires on the deck or sidewalk around the pool? I’m genuinely curious. Sounds like an huge pain in the ass to me. So, what am I missing? For that amount of money it should be a LOT less work than I have to do now. And now I have to do very little.

      @@CarlMeliusCarlHelpsU no didn't like it. The basket is small and it would clog. But there are bypass ports. So when they open it would recirculate the dirt into the pool water. The water was always cloudy. The old dolphin had a bigger cloth bag with no bypass ports. It was better. For small leaves as maintenance. I guess it would be good but i was opening the pool.

      @@thomas5223 There are times that I have to run the robot a few times to get out all of the fine dirt. I have also cleaned the filters after each job and put the robot back in the pool, and the results have been great. It is clearly the best pool cleaner on the market. I am sorry that you have had a negative experience with it.
