Great job! I got my unit half way through the season last year. You are spot on with your assessment. Steps are a bit tricky. After 25 yrs of conventional cleaning my pool I chuckled at you enjoying a drink while the robot in the background did the work. 🙂 This item helped make owning a pool fun again.
We desperately need this for next year. Pools just been closed for winter but I'm over constantly vacuuming it. We're in Canada with no enclosure so this cleaner is a must. Thank you for the information!
It depends on where you have the power supply located. The cord is 50 feet in length so if it is possible if you place it in the central part of the pool's edge. Thank you for the comment and for watching. I would appreciate it if you use my Amazon link when you order to help support my channel :)
my one year assessment, the robot works way above my expectations , it will get stuck on stairs 40 % of the time, it gets the whole pool , in my opinion the filters work great no need to upgrade to a fine filter(s), bought the caddy as well, the caddy is way overpriced BUT it hold the brain in the caddy , great idea ,If the wheels were made out of rubber would be an upgrade, the plastic caddy in my opinion will snap if it hit a crack or rock while wheeling it , a harbor freight hand truck with a little ingenuity with velcro straps would be way, way cheaper and roll better
i need to service the impeller , there is a small slot on the top housing that has a casing i tried to pry up on the slot it appears to be hard and do not want to break the plastic , have you cleaned your impeller yet? will it lift or am i missing a step?
My model has screen or filters that catch leaves and if you have a lot of leaves (bottom covered) you will max out the filters. I think there are other models of the Dolphin that you may want to check if they have a larger hopper for leaves. Thanks for watching.
mine does fine with leaves, unless you have very large leaves, such as a Japanese plum tree. If there are a lot of leaves, you'll have to clean the filter more often.
First, thank you for the review. I have the same model for one and a half years. At the beginning everything was fine and he climbs the walls. The white climbing wheels never get dry and they are looking good . But I changed them anyway. Also I made the test drive, without the filters. But still he does not climb. The tiles in the pool are actually not slippery. When he keeps standing in front of the wall and I put him a little bit upwards, than he climbs the wall. Any idea? Thanks a lot for every information. Greetings from Panama!
I have my Dolphin Nautilus since 2015, and no issue for the machine. Just need to make to clean and maintenance the robot every other month and it will stay forever.
The Caddy was out of stock when I made the video but back in stock and available at this link: amzn.to/3fAQEG0 The caddy has a cover so it can stay outside. The main thing is to keep the power supply dry. I'll made a video on the caddy in a couple of weeks but let me know if you get it and how you like it. Thanks for watching.
Use the pleated filters and it will pick it up, you may have to run 2 cycles. Since my pool has a screen enclosure all I get is the fine dust and dirt particles. Thanks for watching.
No, it can be on or off and doesn't matter. Just drop the Dolphin in the pool and let it run for a beautifully clean pool with no effort. Thanks for watching.
It will brush the sides but you still need to add an algaecide. But overall, running the Dolphin helps to prevent anything from growing on the walls and bottom. Thanks for watching.
Sorry for your bad experience but everyone I have heard from likes if not loves their Dolphin. Maybe you received a refurbished unit or maybe purchased from an unauthorized dealer.. Their warranty program should have made it right for you.

@@pamelarichardson935 Congratulations!
Hi. Does it collect leaves? My only concern is the size of the bag inside the filter . Thanks for your review

Five years and that is great. Thanks for sharing.
Where do you store this? Do you have to unplug it and carry it all in garage? Did you buy a little deck box to store and keep plugged in?

Does this unit scrub algae as well?
It will scrub whatever is on the surface but it will not kill algae, you need chemicals to kill that. Thanks for the question.
Great review. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Brandi.
What portion of my pool guys job consist of this? If I switch to a dolphin do I really need a pool guy?
Someone still needs to maintain the water chemistry. Thanks for watching.
You don't really need a pool guy...maintaining chemistry isn't that hard.
@@jcbarker1 Agree completely. Thanks for watching.
Does this pick up fine dust? Or does it just blow it or mixes it in the water?

I can't seem to find this model on Amazon. Seems like there is a similar one for $1400. Do you have a link? The one below is not working. Thank you
The link is good, i is just out of stock. Keep this link and check back in a few days. Good luck.
Does the pool pump need to be on when the nautilus cc is cleaning?
No, it can be on or off and doesn't matter. Just drop the Dolphin in the pool and let it run for a beautifully clean pool with no effort. Thanks for watching.
Thank you. Very helpful.
After one year using my Dolphin I still love it and my pool has never looked better. Thanks for watching.
How is this with green algae?
It will brush the sides but you still need to add an algaecide. But overall, running the Dolphin helps to prevent anything from growing on the walls and bottom. Thanks for watching.
@@LandingZoneHome great thank you!

It makes no difference. Thanks for watching.
