Wow!! I think that is my reaction every time I watch your videos! So jealous of the adventure! 💖🌞 Happy for Sheldon's health report! Looks like lots to do! Thanks again for sharing with us all! Be well!
A little trick the boys in Florida taught us was to use a bathroom cleaner product called "Iron Out." Spray it on and agitate it with a brush and then power wash off. It removed oxidized white chalk on fiberglass, mold and heavily soiled surfaces from storage, very good during haul out to get water stains off of the hull as well. Glad you guys are back. Looking forward to more videos and Instagram posts.
She'll glad you survived the evil sickness! My hubby and I both had it...his mom died from it! We are getting our trawler ready for the season as well! Hope you have a lovely travel season this year!
Good to see you are back on board. We spent a month at the Harborage. There is a West Marine biking distance, as well as many other shops. If you need work on your 3208s Pantropic has a mechanic with many years of experience on them. Not the cheapest, but a good company in my experience. We arrived at Great Exuma a couple of days ago.
Great to see you back! We're getting back into it after a health scare and will be mooring our "new to us" boat in our marine stomping grounds of Gananoque and the 1000 islands. It ain't the Bahamas, but it will have to work for us now. Yup, the ending with the long hard look at the Fleming was friggin' awesome. :) Great video work. Now having to live my Bahamas cruising dream vicariously via your channel. Can't wait to see more. Keep it up guys, and be thankful your health scare wasn't serious.
Nice video and welcome back! Another great product for cleaning a dinghy after storage, is Booyah. Spray it on and brush with a deck brush. It makes the job very quick and easy. Booyah is made for cleaning the hull water line. Spray on let sit for 1-2 minutes and hose off with fresh water. Very easy compared to all other methods.
AWESOME video!!!! Sheldon, you got the aviator sunglasses on - you look like a fighter pilot strolling out to his new jet. And Cyndi!!! Awesome outfit!!! You looked like a runway model in this video!!! So glad you're both safely back onboard your home. I know I can speak for us all, we have been going through some serious C-Shel withdrawal when it comes to what is next on the horizon. May I say to you both, "Long may YOUR big jib draw!" Best wishes!!!
Yoohoo! So happy to see you back! We overnighted a few weeks ago right under you on the wall with C Shell up on the hard... so fun to see a place we've been. We are closing on a KK42 in Stuart this month if survey goes well! We'd love to drop by with a beer and gas contribution! We are not really online contributors... love you guys. You make us smile. Spark of joy!
Glad you're doing ok. I have the same condition from having all of my small ribs broken at the same time. Military accident. I've gotten good at leaning backwards and mentally calming myself down and usually I can feel it release. Kind of similar to having your instep foot muscle spasm. Catching up on all your videos.
I lived in Florida for 7 years before moving to Vegas. The mild issues brings back (fond?) memories. Moving back in a few years. Get er done and and get back in the water. Love your videos!!!
Hey guys! Your arrival at RFYC was very James Bond-esque! Very sorry to have missed you... I actually arrived end March to move my boat to Fort Lauderdale for some boat work. Good luck with the boat projects. I am back to RFYC in mid/end May. If your still around Stuart would be great to grab a drink or lunch. Take care.
Stoked you guys are back in action! It's amazing how corrosive that ol' Florida sun and heat is isn't it! How did the dinghy rub rail glue job go? I failed miserably at mine a couple of years ago, it was deceivingly difficult to get it right. Oh, and that was a nice DeFever tied up in front of you! ;)
Nice to see you back, that canvas is going to set you back a bunch of toonies. Tomorrow is my big day - I get to see my boat for the first time since Feb 28. It has been in the water the whole time an my son was on board for a couple of days in the autumn and reported the refrigerator, air conditioning and generator weren't working. I'm sure I'll find lots of other stuff. Unfortunately I'm just going to be connecting flights at Fort Lauderdale and only have 6 hours to get a ton of stuff figured out and arrangements made to have stuff done, but I'll be back. Liked the end of this video, as always looking forward to the next one.
We feel your pain for the mold and weather damage. We are leaving in 2 weeks for Deltaville to recover our boat after 12 months on the hard. I am sure we will find similar issues. Did you shrink wrap your boat? We did in the fall and had it removed last week so we hope that prevents some damage. It goes to show how brutal the hot summer and windy fall can be on a boat. We are jealous seeing you at Harborage. One of the nicest marina's we have ever stay at. Stay safe. Steve & Karen
Great video guys! We were planning to leave ours in Florida and return to Canada but decided last minute we just can't leave our home for that long either. The wear and tear travelling will probably be less $ and less traumatic than what we , like you guys might find upon our return. Salt air. Sunshine and humidity torture our boats while we're gone. Aren and Vicki.
That's a LOT of elbow grease to get C-Shel II back to livable condition. Very impressive that you just rolled up your sleeves and "got back to it"! Please make sure to remediate that mold and mildew problem so you don't end up with any respiratory issues. No more time for health issues...more time for fun! Look forward to your next adventures. Also...glad to learn a new medical condition to be aware of...Costochondritis...and glad it wasn't more serious.
So glad to see you two back on the boat again. I must say, that was a bad ass segment of you two returning to the marina. Awesome editing too! Looking forward to more fresh videos!
Hey guys. Welcome home! I just cleaned my zodiac with Spray nine. Great work of the mold and saved my arms. A tough plastic scrub pad made short work of it!! It is also awesome for that mold on your seat cushions !
Glad to see you guys back and Sheldon's health condition is not as bad as thought. I,m only a little over a half hour's drive from your boat. I could have checked on it from time to time. Like I said before, you need to let your subscribers know what's going on so we can offer support. I have a dock with power and water on the Caloosahatchee River west of your marina. If you guys come west I would love to put you up for a night or two. And yes, not only do I have palm trees, I also have producing coconut trees. Free coconuts and good drinking water.
@@SearchingforCShels Yes...my wife and daughter love the beaches of Fort Desoto. It's a state park with 6 miles of beaches and ranked #1 many times for the sand quality. Definitely a must-see.

Nice to see your boat isn’t in horrible shape like Jason and Nicki Wynns cat after a year on the hard in Tonga. I am so glad Sheldon's health scare was not his heart. I know you are glad to be back on the boat. I used to use a product made by Star Brite for mildew and the also make a Black Streak remover that worked pretty good but this was years ago and the formulas of the products may have changed and they may not work as well now a days. I'M doing well I have started physical and lymphedema therapy and it is going well. Great to see drones shots again I always enjoy them. Have a great week!!
Nice to see you guys back at it, I know you say the boat was mechanically sound but I'm curious what they do at the marina for the engines. do they start them up monthly or they just let them seat until you guys get back?
Thanks. No they don't start the engines. She is not in the water so there is no starting the engines on land. They do go aboard and check on the boat every week or two.
For large mold cleaning jobs, consider dry-ice blasting. They use that for cleaning up smoke, soot, mold remediation, grease, dirt and can even remove paint. Not cheap, but should be much less work. Next time!
Glad to have you back and you are healthy. Been watching you guys for a while and this has been the best yet. Like the new style with the music and varied clips. Hope to see you in person around the Stuart area. We live in Hobe Sound and boat all around the area.

Hi Guys! From Gan, directly! Use any product with a goose neck for the toilet bowl. Mr. Bubble or Lysol. This type of product comes with a bleach. That should take care of your molds on your inflatable. You need the bleach component... Let me know if it worked. Cheers!
Glad all us well and you are back.

Boats don’t look bad, you’re right, storing a boat can do damage, unseen damage. Gas filters, oil change, water impeller on dingy motor etc. just putting a small to do list for you. GOOD LUCK GUYS 🛳🚣♂️. Vinny 🇺🇸
