🛥⛵Stunning!! Living in South Florida, I've done the crossings and explored the Bahamas countless times. Yet every time I go or see a vid it's like the first time again. Every spot you named I had a smile on my face. Nice drone shots
Gorgeous video! You two have become true masters of drone photography and produce entertaining and lovely videos. Wow the South Shroud Cay anchorage was spectacular. The tidal creeks looked like so much fun to explore by RIB or kayaks. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to have you two back! Your video work has much improved, and we very much enjoyed this episode. Looks like the boat is in great shape with lots of solar. Smart. Keep the videos coming please.
Finally. Another video from you guys. I have been waiting. I love the new way of showing your track on GoogleMaps. I also think the colors and editing are a lot better than I remembered. I love the passion you both have for life, it’s contagious. Please more videos, we miss you guys. Thanks again.
What a great trip. So similar to ours this year with just a few changes. We too on Lady Bug went to many anchorages that we had not been to before and some were very spectacular. I notice in the videos of just about everybody showing all the highlights, but never the 5 days stuck at anchor just waiting to move on due to weather, although some of our best cruusing were during thunderstorms. Just the sense of insignificance as we moved through and around these storms was awe inspiring. One of our favorites this year was a couple of the anchorages at Nunjack in the Abacos finding many whole Conch shells walking the shallows and swimming with Manta's and baby sharks. What a great experience. We are currently in Freeport at the marina just enjoying the pool and scuba excursions and taking a break from the anxiety that anchorages can be during storms. Perhaps see you back in Florida when we return and put the boat up. Again, great job on the video and stunning drone footage.
been watching your vids for sometime, this by far has been the best work. great drone shots. that water and sand is beautiful. well done, keep them coming !
Wonderful video I spent a week exact same place last March on a 62 ft catamaran best trip of my life... who sings the song ? Can't find the credit you noted.
Love and Respect you two so much, totally rejuvenated a dream of ours… praying and believing God for our breakthrough so one day we may pass you and say thank you… Jesus is Lord Drs Ted and Johnnett Thatcher Redding CA
Unless swing radius is a problem we always do 7 to 1. That much is usually never needed, but when anchoring I prepare for the worst even if it is not in the forecast.
South to Ft Myers, up the Caloosahatchee river, across the Okeechobee waterway to Stuart. South to Lake Worth to stage for crossing, over to West End to check in. Fuel usage depends on your boat.
Up until June the temperature and the winds are fine for us. June onward gets a little too warm. We don't usually run our generator while we sleep. It is too loud for us. We find a marina when we are on the boat in the summer months in Florida so we can run the A/C all the time.

I agree there are many places with many of them much more accessible via a sailboat vs powerboat, all dependent where you are coming from and how deep the pockets are. Out here on the west coast we have some amazing places to boat , Bahamas would not be our choice but sure is nice to get away from the cold Ontario winters

Off topic but , when anchoring what length do you let your anchor out 5 times depth 7 times depth or just what you feel like that time ? 😃
Unless swing radius is a problem we always do 7 to 1. That much is usually never needed, but when anchoring I prepare for the worst even if it is not in the forecast.
My boat stays in destin i wonder what route i would take and how much fuel to get there
South to Ft Myers, up the Caloosahatchee river, across the Okeechobee waterway to Stuart. South to Lake Worth to stage for crossing, over to West End to check in.
Fuel usage depends on your boat.
Just curious, but do you run your generator at night so you have AC on hot evenings or do the trade winds give adequate comfort? Thanks for the video!
Up until June the temperature and the winds are fine for us. June onward gets a little too warm. We don't usually run our generator while we sleep. It is too loud for us. We find a marina when we are on the boat in the summer months in Florida so we can run the A/C all the time.
@@SearchingforCShels Thanks for the reply. Very nice content. Safe travels.
loved the sandy contrails while swimming the statue; where, precisely was that?
Thanks! In the map just before that scene, you will see a yellow line, where that yellow line ends up is where these statues are.
@@SearchingforCShels Thanks!
Great job again. Btw I tried to join on Patreon but payment did not process. Maybe on my end.
Thanks. We will check into the Patreon problem. Though others have not had an issue in the last week or so.

Is it just me? Or are people being idiots by posting meanspirited crap like this more this year?
Inappropriate.
