Congratulations. Always like to see entrepreneurs come up with new tools. Interesting, I’ve never used this method when making bags to box my corners. I always sew up both sides and bottom then pull apart the points, measure how deep to make the “box”, sew across then cut the points off. Maybe I’ll give this method a try.
The teardrop thing is super clever. Its so easy to cut too far with sn ordinary ruler. Though Ill admit I typically box my corners after sewing a flat bag or pouch...

Yes, postage to Australia is super expensive, and with so many fabulous quilters there, it really is frustrating that you have to pay so much in postage!! I bought the template without the rotary cutter. I have trouble getting my rotary cutter in the teardrop slot at the end. Which is the best rotary cutter to use with your slotted Boxed Bag Template?

Yes! I've used that method as well. Less risky, but also less accurate. This way is my favorite - but yes, I am biased. 🥰

Thanks! And yes, I would often box them after as well, but found it tricky to get the seams to line up beautifully. This fixes that issue as well. 🥰

@@dcwatashi I don't do much garment sewing... it can be pretty fussy to get it to fit well. Whereas quilts always fit perfectly. 🥰

Any 45mm rotary cutter will work. Make sure you have a sharp blade - a dull blade won't cut well. ❤️
I put in a new blade. Perhaps I'm holding it at a wrong angle?

Is it nonslip? Like a creative grids template?
Creative Grids nonslip is proprietary - exclusive just to them. But there are lots of options for adding nonslip to rulers like this one, if you need.

Are there 1/4 increments on it for boxed corners
There are half inch measurements, but you can use glow line tape to give yourself quarter inch measurements if needed.
