Those monitors are only used in series 7b the 12th Doctor and onwards have completely different monitors more like Computer screen, and rest far lower then the Matt smith version.
@1.20 Just an idea, they would make great calendar’s. Fabulous job on this, one of my favourite consoles too. @ 3.40 you’re so right, I always liked that from 8’s console.
4:00 - There was officially some written Gallifreyan in the 11th Doctor's first console room (see link below) but it was definitely extremely stylised (barely recognisable in my opinion). ua-cam.com/video/rWPH9Y49CCI/v-deo.html
You always do such a lovely job with your animations. ❤ I somehow missed the fact this console design had an up and down segment in the time column till you pointed it out in the video!😅
I always love the tardis designs since the beginning. I loved the scene in Day of the Doctor, when David Tennant and Matt Smith were together. They asked each other about the circular things in the walls were for and neither knew? That for me was just brilliant acting between those two guys. Though the scene in the tower cell...damn! (And of course, when they were showing off!) I got to ask, Mr Night, has anybody translated the Gallifreyan hieroglyphs?
The interactions between Tennant and Smith are the highlight of the 50th anniversary special (especially when John Hurt is added). As for the hieroglyphics, I don't know. I am curious, though. The designer must have come up with something (it's probably rude).
Not the fan of the whirligig itself, but the console room overall is a good design, especially the way it was used by Capaldi Thanks for animated the "full column" maneuver BTW, looks great! 👍
You can actually translate Gallifreyan runes. I don't know if it's correct but tumblr claimed the runes were the names of all companions up to this point.
These era symbols were drawn with no reason or translation by the art department. “Translated” Gallifreyan didn’t appear until the symbol on the activation button of Tennant #2’s sonic screwdriver late last year, using the fan fiction system invented a few years earlier. Ncuti’s sonic also has some of this same translated Gallifreyan writing out a Rwandan proverb.
hi my name is Richard I'm a journeyman carpenter. one just some really good blender work dude I mean really good and what you do with the control panels is nice,, as for the hydroglyphs,, and never so abundance oh contraire,,,dear sir.. look at the walls of the control room, the 4 &5th Doctor and you will see hieroglyphs abundance. thought you'd like to know nice work..
I was on this set! It was even more FANTASTIC in person…😉!!!

I am not really happy with my monitors as reproduced. If my video and model has a weakness, it's those monitors.
This is my favorite TARDIS design from new Who.
The 11th doctors console used quite a bit of gallifreyan on the control panels
I do rather love this console, and the console room layout it's part of.
my favourite NuWho console

You always put so much thought and effort into your videos, thank you!
Thank you. They are hard work, but when they come out well, it can be very pleasing.

Looks fantastic
I wonder if you'll review the Season 27 Console unit?

@@WeTravelbyNight Great! Gallifreyan for 'my friend Billy has a foot long...'

I added the full column at the last minute. I'm glad I did.

@@EngineeredNonsense Sherman's Gallifreyan is at least a decade old.
Yes, ‘twas a decade of fan fiction until it was used on 14’s sonic.
Beautiful tardis design, let’s hope the new tardis looks just as good, Jodie’s tardis reall wasn’t my cup of tea.
Someone described Jodie's console as looking like 'a dead spider with a boner'.
🤣@@WeTravelbyNight
It looked awesome, did it not?
The coolest design. The new one is a bit too large and brightly lit.The Dr Who show runners make it up as they go along.
Hello hello,
I've loved these videos! Are you considering analysing the Jodie and Ncuti TARDISes?
This is my favourite console, followed by the 80s console
