    Cassava Pone
    4 cups grated cassava
    1 cup grated coconut
    1 cup grated pumpkin
    1/4 cup raisins
    1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    8 oz soften butter
    1 1/2 tsp ginger
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp cinnamon powder
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp salt
    1 1/8 cup evaporated milk
    1 tsp black pepper (optional)

      a trick : you can watch series at Flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.

    I have been buying and eating pone for a long time from my favorite roti shop. Guyanese owned., I like this receipe. It looks very easy. 5mthank you for sharing. I will try it.

    A minute on the lips eternity on the hips...lol
    Let me share a trick about getting coconut out of the shell....freeze it over night.Take out and use a hammer start where the eyes are....weakest point.... tell me if it worked

    You can add banana to replace the sugar if you are diabetic

    I always drink the coconut water. NO EVOPORATED MILK. PURE INGREDIENTS. Like your recipe except that I'm comparing all the Cassava pone Caribbean style.😊❤🇯🇲

      You can maybe use Stevia or Monk fruit sugar. Monk fruit tastes better in my opinion.

      You can use coconut nectar, agave syrup, coconut palm sugar. You can find most of the stuff in the health food store.

    Pone is not supposed to be light but heavy not over gooey but compacted.
