Remember when they showed off tomatoes at Minecon Live that you could throw at people, but that was just an example to see how you could mod things easily? I’m still not over it.
We should get a TRUE gardening update after 1.17. Agriculture is one of the most boring things in the game in my opinion and I think they could improve that a lot, maybe even add old scrapped features like scarecrows

Using mnemonic devices for such easy stuff (seriously it's only 2 words, not 20 !!!) is a problem in itself. You'll focus too much on remembering the mnemonic instead of simply remembering one of the two (stalagmites for example) which is much easier. You only have to remember that stalagmites is the ceiling one, and automatically the other one (stalactites) is the grounded one. Or vice versa

It’s insane to me how many different things 1.17 is adding. We’ve had lot a variety in previous updates, sure, but these are major changes and additions to caves, world generation, a new ore, a massive new redstone feature, and an entirely new archaeology mechanic. That’s crazy to me.

@@jjrulez1596 that’s true. It’s like the many alloys you need to make in many tech mods. Wich i personally like the least of all mods. I am more of the magic player. Thaumcraft, electrobobs wizardry. Those are my kind of mods. But for resource generations in most pack you will need a pulverizer and such to double your ores or like I do in McEternal at the moment quadruple ores. I have about 3k iron ingots and about the same amount of ore.

I've been overall un-enthused about the update, but seeing this, has got me stoked. I'm very fond of collecting and using plant/plantlike things in Minecraft, so seeing it's got all this has me excited finally.
They should make it so mobs can't spawn on copper to give it a use other than just being a building block. I don't think that would tbe too overpowered as well, as torches exist for a reason.
@@diegozuniga4201 Well as it stands, copper is fairly expensive block used only for looks. They should give it some sort of extra functionality to make it actual use apart from building. I think the feature of it blocking mob spawns wouldn't be too overpowered, while at the same time giving it that desired extra functionality which makes the extra price worth it.

Its not the most necessary addition, just more of a somewhat extra functionality to *slightly* encourage the use of copper for uses other than just aesthetic. You also can't place blocks on slabs, unlike full blocks, so I think there still is a bit of a difference.

Also in stalagMite M looks like spikes on ground and in stalacTite T looks like hanging spike

10:24 you can also use Lichen to cover partially up the dark parts of cobblestone for a cleaner transition between cobblestone and mossy cobblestone
Another cool idea would be mixing in copper ore blocks with other stone types and lichens to add another kind of mossy rock/lichen texture!

Secret fridays: my death was greatly exaggerated.
I am so excited to see old run down cities, castles, ruins, or temples using the moss gradient along with lichen. It honestly looks amazing and makes me wish that after playing this game for 13 years I was a better builder.
This alone is why this is one of my favorite updates to date
Y'all over think the stalagmites/ctite thing, stalagmites "crawl" on the ground like mites, stalactites hang tight to the ceiling
Remember, stalagMITES live in mounds while stalaCTITES hang from the ceiling. C for ceiling, M for mound.
Or, ya know, just memorize which is which

Stalactites stay *tight* on the ceiling,
while Stalagmites *might* make it up there one day.
Stalactites have a C because they're on the ceiling.
Stalagmites have a G because they're on the ground.
Well now i wanna this update even sooner. It adds so much for decoration, land transformation etc and someone like me, who just enjoys building more than the combat/achievements, or getting the best gear, its blessing!
