    As a turbine guy I can see what happened. Flying "dirty " with gear down and flaps down you need to work on a glide slope that can keep your speed up and still make your target on the runway. Remember to land with power on whenever possible and maintain your speed when "dirty". Awsome videos guys! The USA loves you!

    Your plane hit the long grass and simply pulled out the undercarriage, it stopped dead on landing! 20 Years RC flying. Great videos.

    Beautiful airplane, looks great in the air. You got to get a paved surface for take off and landing! I don't think I would rather see anyone else display or demonstrate any of these planes. You guys are great.

    thanks for sharing your vid, and your right, there are many of us out there that cannot afford these nice models and with your demonstration flights it lets us get a feel for the expensive models too, thanks again fellas! :-D I look forward to watching many more of your vids!!

    This plane has aerodynamics like an SR-71. Practice flaps down at a good altitude and see how holding up the nose will let you land slowly. Otherwise you have to come in low and land fast. This plane is not for beginners.

    That is so true pilot Robert. Shit happens love it guys doesn’t matter if it’s a perfect landing or a crash we see it and that is why you two brothers have the best channel. Chin up and start again.

    Now you hit the taller grass, bad luck, last time you just flew over and landed on the mown grass.
    Love the LED lighting.

    I would love to see a better runway surface some how. There is a lot of pleasure in just taxi testing and such. Nice model and glad it will fly again. I'm building a long wing Super Privateer for rise off the water here in Thailand. Getting close to finish but think I need to upgrade my servos from the very small and cheapo Chinese I got first. The ones that worked, work fine but I wonder if they would last especially if I go ahead with diesel RC power. Initially I'm just going to slope soar it. Span is about 78". Almost all my experience from 1972 on is slope soaring. Thanks again, Paul in Thailand

    • @PetrincicBrosRC
      @PetrincicBrosRC  6 років тому

      Like you said Paul. And we have fixed our runway a few days ago and I have puted artificial grass on a part of the runway just for birds like this. I have tested it with that crazy Quantum EDF jet and it was perfect. Oh yeah... Good luck with your bird. It should be awesome. I heavent try slope soaring in my life. But it sounds like great fun... Big salute to Thailand from Slovenia, Robert

    ya nothing wrong with the plane. i think its landing gear is more suited for concrete,
    and, it took all your runway to take off, so i guess you would need about that length
    of runway to land safe and sound. i guess jets do better when you bring them in steady low and fast.

    10:05 You guys know, this plane is different than most and the landing will be a learning thing as well, especially on grass with all that battery. (Bouncing on takeoff = slim chance for smooth landing) Maybe even deploy a chute on landings like the F104 Starfighter. Or maybe your landings are just rusty, but the rest of it, especially Captain Blaz jokes and your flying are still shiny.

    • @JoshWeaverRC
      @JoshWeaverRC 6 років тому

      On grass, there is no forgiving, but on asphalt, you get a bounce. ua-cam.com/video/QfNZx84gS8w/v-deo.html

    even if you kept air speed faster and hit that grass run way almost perfect i bet landing would still be extremely hard on gear... hard top or concrete runway is the only good runway for that model...very cool looking plane..edf sounded very nice...

    Hi Robert! can I ask what kind of orangerx 920x receiver you use for this plane, is it CCPM or SBUS? Thanks!

    • @PetrincicBrosRC
      @PetrincicBrosRC  6 років тому +1

      Hey Rico. It is SBUS... Thanks for stopping by and see you soon, Robert

    • @znister33
      @znister33 6 років тому

      Robert Petrinčič May i ask why you choose SBUS compared to CCPM? What can you say about orangerx receivers? Is it good? because the price was so cheap compared to specktrum receivers. Thank you Pilot Robert! Oh yeah!!

    • @PetrincicBrosRC
      @PetrincicBrosRC  6 років тому +1

      Hey Rico. CPPM and SBUS are reciewer protocols. CCPM is old analog signal and SBUS is newer, digital signal. Little faster. But all these things are not very important for planes but more for quads. So here it doesnt really matter which one you buy. And the price is not very different. And about Orange reciever I can tell that they work very good for me. They have very good ones now on HobbyKing and compaitble with my Spektrum DX9. And you just cant beat the price. I get at least two of these for the price of one Spektrum. And you have all these Orange with telemetrie and satelites. I love them. But that is just me. You have to ask another modelers and you will find the truth. I have about 30 Spektrum recievers and Iam buying now only Orange ones. I have about 10 and no problem so far. So thanks again for stopping by and see you soon, Robert

But i want ti make the jump to 80 and 90mm, and this one that you were flying seems perfect...best regards and happy flying
