+Refugio Flores well the 8.5 is the same size as the 8, just with a wider sole. So if you went up one to the 9 and you still found the 9 to be tight, you could go a 9.5, which is a 9 with a wider sole.

Personally, I lace them up to one below the top, then lace the laces to the next one up WITHOUT crossing and then tuck them somewhere behind the tongue, no knot. The knot doesn't stay together well on mine, so I tuck it in as mentioned.

To be honest with you is VERY hard to fit them. My normal shoe size is EU 47, i went for one size smaller to EU 46. I feel they are TOO big, can not return them now so i guess I just gonna to have them. Can someone who ownes them tell me how they supposed to be? I feel like the are gliding from my foot. Its my first pair and i know they are very heavy boost maybe it just how they feel on foot? I think if i go to size EU 45.5 they want to probably be too small. If you got your pair could sometime tell me how they should feel on foot? Very tight or more loose? Thanks for answer :)
I'm surprised that they feel loose on your feet. I'm usually a size 46, a UK size 12. Timberland for some reason don't do a size 12. They do a UK 11.5 then this jumps to a UK 12.5. The 11.5 feel fitted. I've tried on ones that feel good and other ones that are slightly narrow. The 12.5 are too big I feel. I would probably require one or two insoles. As for You, they shouldn't feel tight and they shouldn't be too loose; your heel should not be coming up at the back.

Not too big, too wide! In Europe only width W ist available, not width M (medium) like in the US. That ist the Problem.
I wear size 12US in Nikes but size 11US Timberlands.
I use insoles for all as ALL shoes/boots feel hard and flat without them.

no, they arent, they are designed to not do that, if you wear them like a fast food employee that wants to show off his $150 boots, then yes they will slip, but NO work boots are not SUPPOSED to slip. thye are SUPPOSED to provide support your feet and ankles.
mine did that...so i had to size down...i. irmally wear size 10 shoes but im really wearing 8.5s for timbs because i looselace and the 9s were slipping making it really hard to walk
