Have this great plane also, at my second battery people drove by and start talking with me. And before I knew I was flying the plane for 40minutes on a 2s 2200. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
I almost just did the same thing with mine. The elevator was backwards and I didn't notice until I was doing the final check. Like how did I miss that?! Maiden is Tomorrow.
Mine arrived without the wing stabilizer bar, fun fact if you're into archery an arrow cut to fit seems to be the ticket. Fit snug and the cg seems to be dead on. Will know more tomorrow after the maiden
I have only just purchased one and perhaps today, I will fly it for the very first time. Am really nervous. LOL. Hope nothing goes wrong. Wish me luck please ok ! Ha ha Many happy greetings from Tasmania ...... 🙂
Hello, I just bought a PhoenixS in kit, and I just finished to assembly it. I bought a RadioMaster Pocket, but the documentation is very poor, and I don’t know how to start with it and to find the receptor of the plane. Could you help me to start the radio step by step. Thank you for your reply
@@VoyazopoulosJean-Louis you can run your ELRS RX on sbus and buy a radiolink Byme -A and plug into your plane. It’s a gyro that can be switched on and off via the radio
@@dronepilot260rc Great, I was thinking of doing a static test to see how much the motor would heat up with 8-9 inch props on 3S, but if 8X5 is good Im gonna order one.
Looking at getting this very soon as PNP. Am I right in thinking all that is needed is a tx & rx combo + battery? If so, what type of battery connection? And will flysky 6channel tx be OK with associated rx?
I get my PnP version this Thursday, and you are the reason I bought it.
That’s awesome man! I think if you can find a big enough 2s battery you won’t cook the motor wires on it
Was a big fan of the ranger 1600 working on getting the 2400
I’m keeping my eyes open for a 2400 as well. This 1600 seems to be perfect 🫡
Nice fly and good weather
Feel free to subscribe if you haven’t already, more flights like this to come

Thanks for watching! This is indeed a great glider especially for the price 😎
Always check your ail, rud, elv before each flight!
Unfortunately humans will always make mistakes lol

I’ve definitely used arrows as carbon spars lol 😂
Where do you buy it from?
I have a 2.4 Ranger I'm making into a long-distance fpv with head tracker
I’m thinking about getting the 2400. These are amazing gliders for a bargain price

I have been looking at the 1600 for a while. I have looked everywhere for replacement wings in case of need, but have not been able to find any.
Banggood has a kit version for $75 🇺🇸 you could use the wings from that 🎉
@@dronepilot260rc Good idea. Thanks.
What battery did you use? Im thinking on using 2S 2700mAh,

Sweet video, I'm preparing it, i bought it cheap also (received it here in France), hope i'll succed my maiden.
Thanks for ur video.
Good luck on your maiden!
Check the throws before the maiden?
Throws were good , CG was a little tail heavy but still flew 🫡

That is correct and definitely run it on a 2s. I’m not sure of the exact 2s size tho
@@dronepilot260rc recommended is 1500mah I think. Do you know what connector type it uses?
1500 definitely won’t be enough to hit the cg on a stock setup
@@dronepilot260rc I was planning to get some 1800/2000 mah and try them out. I heard on one video that it's xt60 connector type. Is that right?
@@Dog_Botherer yeah it’s a XT60 I would look for a heavier 2s like a 4000 or similar
Just ordered another one of these for $104 on banggood 🎉
