How to Fix Compact Camera Broken Lens | PART 1

Hello guys, in this video I am going to show you how to disassemble the Sony dsc wx500. After having the camera accidentally fall from the tabletop onto the floor and hence damaging the lens system, I decided to take the repairs into my own hands and order a replacement part for around 50Euros Including the shipment fees. The work is very tedious and I do not recommend it for those who haven't taken electronics apart before. - WARNING: - You may damage the camera even more if you are not careful ! My wx500 lens is open but the screen is not open how to fix?

Good day Christofer, please check that the flat cables which are connected to the screen, are connected properly or are not dented or bent. If there is damage to this cable might be the problem which is causing your screen to malfunction. There are replacements for these types of cables. I hope you are able to make your camera work again. Take care.
