    Thanks! Great video.
I have a Seat Leon 1.6 with the same engine and may need to replace the coil and ignition wires.
What a lot of things to remove for a simple job.
I noticed that the secondary air pump is blocking access to the ignition coil, but did not see how the bracket holding the pump was mounted.

13 mm socket, and i think 5 or 7 mm hex screw. Use wd-40 on the hex screws before, because they round easily

hi. I got to this part 5:18 here. But no matter how hard I tried to disconnect the manifold, it wouldnt come off. I had removed the four hex-screws, the two nuts below, the torx screws after removing the air pump and its bracket, but i didnt have any joy.
I know about the plastic side-holders that have to be held outwards when pulling off the manifold, but no, nothing worked. I have a CCSA engine, which looks identical to this. Golf 5 variant, 2008
I live in Sweden and we get a lot of corrosion, idk if thats the problem.

Hi, first of all, thank you for the video. I have a question for you: because of I have the same problem on my car, do you know why 4th spark it's so dark? I think could be the blow by problem, what do you think? Thank you.

It can be done without removing the aspiration, just the "cold air pump", and I have LPG and I'm not a mechanic. Just have the spark plug instrument and curved pliers. I'm watching this video because I'll have to do it again, after 5 years.
(And he didn't put oil or copper paste on the new spark plugs)

What is the thing that you take out in the first place. Like a básquet case. I bought an audi without it and i dont known what it is.

Do get to the PVC which is under the manifold, I guess you do the same process to get access to it? It's under the 'center' manifold. Perhaps you know?

Hey cool video, I went through something like this to change a leaking heater hose on my vw caddy with the same 2k engine but didn't have to take of the intake manifold. Is there no manifold gasket?

    • @Oppong21
      @Oppong21  Рік тому +2

The intake manifold doesn't have a gasket but rather a rubber rings. The rubber rings are on the intake manifold itself. They can be replaced with new ones if they don't seal anymore. Have a nice day.

Seen so many guys do it like this, totally not practical , takes 5 minutes to use a tube socket on a knuckle joint with a ratchet , done it numerous times even when the engine was hot.... And I've never trained as a mechanic , just hink logical and practical .

Is it mandatory the ignition module to be changed also, not only the ignition coil itself?

what is the component that was removed from the vehicle at 2:00 ? This part is not installed in my Golf 4 with the same 1.6 engine.

The component that was removed is the secondary air pump.
