Apples to oranges . I’ll keep my 19 x2 and the extra 9 grand I saved
They way overpriced it, should have started around 16k like the general, base price for the rmax is over the yxz price and it’s designed to be between the yxz and the x2. Not making a more adorable option was a huge oversight in my opinion.
Its not tho.. its a model vs its bigger brother.. lets you know you can go slow and be left behind by youself because you went cheap.. or you can lead the pack in the rmax with your wife riding passenger..
James Spivey went cheap ? If 16k is cheap I guess your wallet is thick. It’s overpriced bottom line and the x2 will do everything it can for a lot less !
Ya it’s about 3 grand over priced. I’ll wait for some incentives then get one.

Thanks for doing these vids. They made changes to the 21 X2. Did they do anything with the drivetrain or rev limiter.

Did they increase the size of the fuel tank on the Rmax? I'd like to see how far each will go on a tank of gas...same trail/ride.

How’s power and torque feel compared to a yxz? I know totally different machines and transmissions, just curious as my 19 yxz is great but I’m wondering if the rmax would take it off the line for awhile with the better torques curve. Hp is close stock for stock but gearing and torque way different. Drag race?

Not $7k faster. For the price of the RMAX you can get a x2 and a kodiak 450. $3k over the comparable x2 package I could see.
Not surprising but that R-Max really walks away!
How fast were the machines going. I hear 50mph for the X2, but owners saying 57-58.

Anything will be faster than my Pioneer 700X4. I'll be buying the X2 Wolverine 850 for the size, cost, and ability to use tight ATV trails easier than an RMAX.
The X2 is a GREAT choice! We sell a ton of them and everyone loves them!

I hope somebody would put together a turbo kit for the rmax 1000.
That's what I'd like, or engine parts that would gain at least 20 to 30 horsepower.

Not as bad as I thought it would be, you’re really not buying them to go fast, if you want to do that you can get in your car. Put it up against the pioneer 1000
My canam commander will out run the general, my buddy has a general we raced at the dunes it took the general every time, that being said I would trade for rmax in a heartbeat if they were priced better my commander is hell on belts.
Think I will keep my 20 X2. Will go pretty much anywhere I want to go for the price point. I hope they still will make the X2

I’m sure the x2 still costs a lot less. Can am makes an 800 and 1000 commander. I think the x2 will still sell if it’s at a much lower price than the rmax

With a 73 mph limiter the R Max clearly takes the KRX on the long end. KRX pulls ahead only to be chased down and passed! 😜😎

Some may say it's stupid, but I'd like to see a race like this against the Honda talon.
talon isnt the fastest its middle of the pack, need to race a 1000xp. but in the end you dont buy a honda or yamaha for the speed its for the reliability
@@kidamere2408 that's true, although I wish I could find something that was fast and reliable I know both Yamaha and Honda could do that but so far they have not done well at combining the two.

100% Over priced the RMAX and X2..Where I live the trails are slow and ya can't drive them on the roads. So Glad I Ordered a Viking. LOL Because the Grizzly is Over Priced too and couldn't get me and the GF on it safely.
If Someone wants Speed. Polaris or Cam is a better Price Point Choice. ESP With there sales Rebait. No they any gonna last but they sure are fun for the first 1000 miles before they fall apart. haha

Given the x2 is speed limited to 50 miles per hr no wonder.

@@gregrowe1168 No the 2020 X2 were 51-52 mph. The 2021 X2 I got is limited to 55-56.
With almost double the HP the rmax does not look that impressive
It would of been alot closer if the X2 speed limiter was set at 70mph like the Rmax and not at 52mph. Its not even a fair comparison.
Naw, the RMAX was already about to the finish line before the X2 even got to 50.
Pull the hood off the RMAX and do it again, I bet it wins by a larger margin
